Chapter 328 327: Greatsword?
?The mont a thunderous hiss, infused with anger, majesty, and otherworldly power, reverberated through the air, it sent shivers down the spines of Fatty Black Bonez, Triple X, and Kane. Each mber of the trio experienced a distinct emotional response to the ominous sound.
Fatty Black Bonez was relieved.
Triple X was indifferent.
Kane was happy.
He grinned, and just as he was about to speak, he felt the flas behind him getting devoured, and he quickly jumped to his right.
Woosh!
The sound of jaws snapping, followed by another loud hiss filled with anger and frustration, filled the air.
Kane glanced at the white serpent which had a strange and dangerous devouring power. His eyes glinted strangely, and a second later, he turned his head to the side, dodging a small knife that was aid at his neck.
A glint flashed in his eyes as he looked at the knife, and a second later, he quickly ford a sword made out of flas.
Clang!
A loud sound of tal clashing against tal reverberated in the air, and Kane's voice filled with mockery and disdain followed:
"Did you really think I'd be so easy to ambush? It's not like I ever forgot about you."
Kane said as he looked at lissa, who was pushing her pair of daggers onto his flaming sword.
"I'm not interested in you, so please stop thinking about ."
lissa said with visible disgust, and a puzzled light flashed in Kane's eyes for a second before it turned to anger.
He chuckled softly, and then his grin widened.
"Die."
lissa's eyes widened as she saw all the flas in the environnt surge towards her. Her eyes flashed, and without hesitation, she jumped backward.
Hiss!
A loud hiss resounded once again, and Kane clicked his tongue as he saw the white serpent coil around lissa, protecting her from his flas.
Kane raised his hands to control the flas, but then his eyes caught sight of his shadow moving, and he quickly jumped away once again.
A black sword erged from his previous location, and Kane laughed.
"Try sothing new mortals."
Kane said, then he looked at Fatty Black Bonez, who was running towards him with the two large bone hands floating beside him.
"I've grown bored of your repetitive moves."
Kane indifferently said, and he pointed his index finger at Fatty Black Bonez.
"Learn to know your place in your next life."
Kane said as his finger beca red hot, and just as he was about to unleash a skill at Fatty Black Bonez, his head snapped to his left.
"Impossible!"
Kane shouted with wide eyes filled with imnse shock.
He could no longer sense the presence of Zephyr, and he knew what that ant.
"How did he die to that man?!"
Kane's mind was in chaos since he could not imagine how Zephyr died.
Zephyr was the strongest among all of them, and he was the last person he ever thought would die.
Although he didn't want to admit it. The allies of Divine were powerful.
Despite most of them being tier 3, they all had strange and dangerous abilities that would give most tier 4s a difficult ti.
They were much stronger than an average tier 3, and even he had to be careful when dealing with them.
Although he portrayed a disdainful expression and attitude when dealing with them, he was not taking them lightly at all.
After the death of Lilith in the hands of Rosa, who they considered to be the most dangerous, he, Zephyr, and the restunanimously agreed to treat the trio seriously.
They knew they could not take any of them lightly, especially the two tier 4s.
Due to all of these, Kane was extrely shocked and baffled when he no longer sensed the presence of Zephyr, the strongest among them.
'This is so wrong. How can Zephyr die so quickly? Was that old man actually the strongest amongst all of them?'
'What the fuck is happening?'
Kane's mind spun as countless thoughts appeared in his mind.
Just as his mind was about to delve deeper into his thoughts, his instincts scread at him, and he snapped back to reality.
His eyes widened when he saw countless sharp bones coming in his direction.
His mind spun as he thought of ways to defend himself from the onslaught of bones. He instinctively wanted to summon his flas to his side, but he decided otherwise.
His flas were what was keeping the strange white serpent and the female assassin away from him.
Fighting both Fatty Black Bonez and Triple X, who could move in between shadows, was already annoying and slightly difficult for him. He didn't want to imagine how difficult it would be if the white serpent and the female assassin joined the group.
In a fraction of a second, his mind ca up with a decision, and he jumped high up into the air and floated.
"Hmph."
Fatty Black Bonez scoffed, and he controlled the bones to follow Kane.
Kane's eyes beca cold, and he pointed his super-heated finger at Fatty.
A laser beam that was as fast as the speed of the light erupted from his finger, and before Fatty Black Bonez could react, the laser beam reached the middle of his chest.
Bang!
Much to the shock of Kane, the sound produced was not that of his laser tearing a hole through Fatty's chest. Instead, it was the sound of his laser hitting sothing hard.
"Fuck! That's hot!"
Fatty Black Bonez cursed as he patted his smoking and burnt chest, revealing a smoking golden sternum.
Kane squinted his eyes as he looked at the golden sternum, which exuded a dense amount of mystic energy and also an unfamiliar energy.
"What is that bone?"
Kane noticed that it was only the sternum of Fatty Black Bonez that was golden; the other bones in his body were not, and Kane was baffled.
"Guess I should thank Cap for giving this gift after we free him."
Fatty Black Bonez mumbled as he wiped the blood off his lips. He looked at Kane, who had a deep frown, and then he grinned.
"Should you be absentminded in a fight?"
Fatty Black Bonez said, and Kane's eyes widened when he heard the sound of an object coming at him at an extrely fast speed.
He turned and quickly placed his flaming sword in front of him.
BAM!
Crash!
"What the?"
Kane's eyes widened as he felt himself slam into a building. He looked to his right and saw a large black greatsword a few inches from him.
The force from the thrown greatsword was so powerful that it threw him into a building when he tried to defend himself.
"Wait."
Kane's eyes widened.
"Greatsword?"
Kane's instincts scread at him as he finally noticed sothing amiss. He tried to jump away from where he was.
