Corey spent a considerable amount of ti trying to grasp and understand the defying ability of the Paragons.
Compared to every other racial abilities Paragons, this defying ability that allows a Paragon to be resistant to potentially everything was sothing he wanted in his new race.
Compared to the abilities of the Old One, this singular ability of the Paragons was far more complicated and far more crucial to him.
If he couldn't understand how it worked, then he could never incorporate it into his new race.
How could the first of a kind, the primogenitor of a new race not have a nigh-complete understanding of their body?
In fact, Corey knows that if he could not understand the defying ability of the Paragons, then there was no way he'd be able to properly incorporate it into his new body.
And there was no way he'd be able to utilize the ability like how true Paragons did.
Fortunately for him, the Paragon Ancestor did not hide how this ability functioned.
He could see everything, but he just needed to understand it and also trust his instincts.
'Paragons are truly terrifying.'
'... If a Paragon can find and fuse with as many Infinity Crystals as possible, they'd be extrely difficult to kill.'
'A Paragon with all the elental infinity crystal could stand and allow other enemies that were in the sa realm or even above it to a certain degree.'
'If a Paragon has a sword infinity crystal, sword attacks from enemies in the sa realm as the Paragon or slightly higher would not cause a single damage to the Paragon.'
'It's the sa for elental infinity crystals.'
Corey had countless thoughts as he continued to understand more and more about the defying ability of Paragons.
anwhile, as Corey was trying his hardest to understand the defying ability of the Paragons, Pala, Prima, Primus, and Nina all stared at the floating drop of dark grey blood in the air.
They were all still in the Forge, though, its appearance was vastly different compared to before.
Cracks could be seen on every side and corner of the Forge, and the ground was now filled with blood.
So much blood to the point that it reached the knees of Pala.
Their expressions was one of concern and anxiety as they stared at the floating drop of blood despite its calm state.
"No more explosions?" Primus decided to ask after been tense for over an hour.
Every single one of them had to deal with the violent and powerful explosions that usually occurred at completely random tis.
The number of explosions that occurred could not be counted, and Primus and Prima had to use all they had to protect Pala from the explosions.
However, the true problem for the trio and even Nina was the extrely powerful Will the drop of blood was releasing.
The explosions was not what caused the Forge to develop cracks, it was the clash of Wills inside the blood and the continuous evolution of Corey's Will into sothing monstrous.
Without Primus and Prima, Pala would have died a long ti ago. Not only due to the explosions, but due to the pressure of the five Wills.
Even Nina did not expect such a thing, and she thought she had prepared thoroughly for every scenario.
She was the one that helped Corey in creating the Forge, because without her, there was no way he could create sothing that could hide his Will and the birth of his new race.
However, she never expected that the evolution of Corey's Will would cause so much damage to the Forge, and the process was just beginning.
There was still so much more to be done.
'Did I miscalculate this much? Or did sothing unexpected happen?' Nina looked at the floating drop of dark grey blood with narrowed eyes.
She was not moving, but she was trying her best to repair and to also find ways to improve The Forge.
Unfortunately, she could not do much because she had been restricted by the Paragon Ancestor and her Queen Mother.
'The situation might beco more dire than this.'
"I hope Papa is okay." Prima said after seeing that no explosion occurred, and Pala who was wearing her physical body consoled her.
"Don't worry. Your papa is very powerful. I'm sure he's alright."
She looked a the cracks in the air, in the sky, and the sea of blood they were standing on.
"Yeah... I'm sure he's very fine." She mumbled softly.
anwhile, the Gods outside the Forge were releasing attacks upon attacks on the Forge, but none of it worked.
At first, they all planned on waiting for Corey to co out from the Forge, but when cracks started appearing on it and they began sensing the imnse and dreadful Will that was being released from the tiny cracks, they were terrified.
They didn't know what Corey was doing, but they knew that they had to stop him before it was too late.
So who could read fates and see glimpses of the future saw their deaths or the deaths of all the gods, and they chose to run away after suffering devastating injuries because they tried to read their fate and see their future.
So of the gods ran, while so stayed behind out of curiousity, out of greed, out of pride, and also out of desire.
Many desired to have the reward of a single wish from the Universal System.
For so, if they backed out because they were fearful of a mortal, they'd forever regret it.
While for so, their entire lives depended on the single wish from the Universal System.
Without it, they'd die or rather die.
So, instead of dying without trying, why not die trying?
However, despite the thoughts of the gods that stayed behind in order to kill Corey and gain the reward, they knew that they had to destroy the Forge and force Corey out of it.
What they didn't know was that their attacks was not even listed as a minor problem or concern in her current long list of problems and concerns.
They were like toothless babies striking at a wall with their tiny hands.
