'The Sun God?'
Corey imdiately had a baffled expression when he heard that Chucky was the Sun God in his past life.
Why?
Because he had seen an incarnation of the Sun God not too long ago.
'So, there's another Sun God? Could he be related to Chucky? His appearance is not the sa as Chucky's, so he's probably not related to him.'
Corey pondered on this for so seconds before he decided to ask.
"I recently t a Sun God. Is he by chance related to you?"
Chucky looked at Corey, then his eyes flashed with a pondering light.
"Could it be him? It can only be him." Chucky mumbled softly, and Corey raised a brow.
"Who is it?"
Chucky softly shook his head with a sad smile.
"My disciple. It's probably my disciple... and he most likely wants to take revenge for ."
'Revenge?' Corey frowned slightly when he heard this, and he was instantly confused.
"So, the current Sun God who is most likely your disciple wants to kill ?"
Chucky nodded with the sa pained smile.
"I told him to continue living and to also forget about . That he should enjoy life as it is, but it seems he wasn't able to... I have failed as a master."
Corey's brows were furrowed in thought, and he kept on observing Chucky with his Eyes of Truth and Judgent fully active.
"What did I do to you in my past life? Weren't we brothers?"
Chucky gritted his teeth and looked at him with a murderous expression the mont he asked the question.
Corey looked back at him with a calm and utterly indifferent expression.
Corey's pupils trembled slightly under the pressure of Corey's gaze, then he looked down a few seconds later.
"I can't rember everything because you awakened at the wrong ti. I'm ant to have woken up after you beca an Immortal, not as a Mortal."
Chucky paused, then he looked in the direction of Pala and the Universal Brand.
"Although I don't have all my mories, the rage I have toward you is very real. I rember the ti you betrayed and sacrificed to those multi-eyed freaks."
Chucky's teeth made grating noise as he recalled the mories he suddenly obtained in the past. However, if one was observant enough, they would see the fear that was hidden in the depths of his eyes.
The fear he had towards those "multi-eyed freaks."
anwhile, Corey had raised brows the mont he heard the words- "Multi-eyed freaks"
There was only one race he knew with multiple eyes.
'The Supres?'
'I betrayed my brother to the Supres in my past life?'
Countless thoughts flashed in his mind, then he eventually spoke.
"Do you know the na of the Multi-eyed freaks? What are they called?"
Chucky shook his head.
"I can't rember. But what I rember is their eyes. Their nurous multicoloured eyes that could destroy anything with just a glance."
"And also how monstrously powerful they were. Their cold eyes as they looked at every single one of us... No... At our entire universe in disdain."
"Almost like they were superior to everything and we were just ants. Almost like... you."
Corey frowned as Chucky looked at him with a vacant gaze, but he did nothing.
A few seconds later, Chucky inhaled deeply and continued speaking.
"If not for the fact that you've never had their appearance or even their aura, I would have completely believed it if you were related to them. Because, just like them, you are also incomprehensible."
"And the way you look at everyone you battle... It's like... you're above them no matter if they're stronger than you. It's very infuriating to look at."
Corey folded his arms, then he stared at his feet with a contemplative expression.
"Do you know why I betrayed you? What happened before I betrayed you? Were we very close like inseparable brothers?"
Chucky scoffed, then he shook his head.
"I have no idea why you betrayed even to this day. I rember asking why you did it when I was being taken away by those freaks, but you said nothing. Your expression was completely indifferent as you watched them drag away. I cursed you so much on that day. I cursed you from the very bottom of my heart and soul."
Chucky gritted his teeth tightly, and thick killing intent could be seen around him.
"Even now, I still rember the rage I felt when you betrayed . It still hurts so much."
"The two of us had our differences when we were younger, but we grew up and chose to stick together like brothers because we realized that we were stronger together."
"Independently, we were amongst the strongest beings that ca out of our universe. We even caused waves outside our universe."
"But together... together... we were unstoppable. I rember how beings who were more powerful than us tried to take control of us after leaving the universe, but we killed them all because we worked together."
"Even against those multi-eyed freaks, we caused them so much trouble together when they tried to invade our universe. Together, we were the strongest of our universe, and all of us believed that we'd be able to protect our universe."
"But then you betrayed . You betrayed us!"
"You, who was the blade that made people fear the night. The blade that made people fear the darkness. The blade that made people fear their very own shadows."
"You slaughtered far more of those bastards than , and of all people, you betrayed ! How would I not be livid?! How would I not hate you?!"
Tears stread down Chucky's face as he knelt and stared into Corey's calm eyes.
"Look at now. Look at my current state. I serve those bastards now. I'm not even sure what they did to because I don't have all my mories, but serving the bastards who slaughtered many of our friends, comrades, and even loved ones is worse than death!"
"YOU SUBJECTED TO A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH, ILIOS!"
The instant Chucky said the na "ILIOS", Corey's pupils trembled violently and he felt like sothing was about to break free in his mind.
It felt like he was about to rember sothing, but just as this was about to occur, his soul shook and a powerful shriek travelled across his soul.
The shriek was so powerful and loud to the point that Corey released a pained grunt as he covered his ears and fell to a knee.
Chucky violently spasd on solidified space.
Pala had completely destroyed the Universal Brand.
