Corey left Divine, Pala, Jeremy, and Rosa after telling them that he planned on talking to his sister.
He reappeared in a region that was approximately five kilotres away from where Divine and the rest were located.
Corey fiddled with the grey crystal on his neck for a few seconds, and then he looked around.
There was nothing but destruction and ruins all around him, and he could not help but frown when he saw this.
He was eting Anna for the first ti in a long ti, and he did not want them to et in a scene of destruction.
The crown above his head which signified his fusion with the world tree emitted a bright silver glow, and then Corey slowly raised his hand.
The ground around him trembled, and the wind beca turbulent.
The ground shifted and began moving. The cracks and holes on the ground began to close and be filled up, and a few monts later, water began to bubble up from the cracks and holes.
When the cracks and holes were fully closed and filled up, the land was wet and moist, and then flowers and vegetation began to sprout from the ground.
Nurous grasses and flowers of various kinds filled the land around Corey, causing the once desolate and ruined land to beco a land of beauty and serenity.
Corey waved his hand, and then normal sized trees began to grow from the ground.
He waved his hand again, and a pond of pure pristine water appeared before him.
He looked at everything, and then he nodded his head in satisfaction.
"Fair enough. Unfortunately I can’t create animals even with the ability of the world tree in its domain. Creating a different life form aside from plants is not within the ability of the world tree."
He was about to release Anna from the void crystal, but then he frowned.
He looked up, and when he saw the chaotic dark sky with tinges of red and remnant flashes of lightning in it, his frown deepened.
"We can’t have that."
Corey snapped his fingers, and then the dark and crimson tainted clouds parted along with the lightning.
A clear blue sky erged just directly above the land Corey had created with the powers of the world tree, and despite the distance, Divine and the others could see the glaring difference from afar.
Corey looked around one more ti, and then he nodded with a satisfied expression.
"Much better."
He was about to bring out Anna, but then he saw Rosa approaching him from the corner of his eyes.
He looked at her. "Why are you here?"
Rosa smiled at him. "Because I missed you." She paused and stared at the void crystal hanging from Corey’s neck.
Even right now, Corey was holding the grey crystal with the greatest level of affection and care she had ever seen from Corey, and she knew just how much his sister ant to him.
"I can leave if you want to." She said despite the fact that she wanted to spend ti with Corey and not leave him.
Corey furrowed his brows slightly in thought, and then he shook his head.
"You can stay. Once I start talking to my sister, I won’t be on my guard even if I want to, and it’ll be easy for anything to happen to . With you by my side, I’ll be safer."
Rosa was slightly stunned when she heard Corey’s words, and a few monts later, she smiled brightly at him.
"Don’t worry. I’ll protect you."
Corey nodded slightly. "I know you will... Thank you."
Rosa smiled at Corey, and then just as Corey crushed the void crystal, she asked.
"By the way, what’s her na?"
A swirling grey portal appeared in front of Corey, and then Anna... no... Tessa Liora stepped out of the portal.
Corey subconsciously stopped breathing as he stared at Tessa. Although Tessa’s face was not like Anna’s, he knew that she was his sister.
A dazed and slightly lost expression could be seen on his face as he stared at Tessa, and his lips trembled as he tried to speak.
"Her na is Anna."
Rosa had a slight expression of surprise at Corey’s reaction, and then she smiled.
"It’s a beautiful na." She mumbled softly, and though Corey heard it through his Ears of Omniscience, he didn’t register it in his mind.
His mind was completely on Tessa who had a complicated expression, and Corey exhaled deeply.
"Can I speak to Anna?" Corey asked with a tinge of excitent and anticipation in his eyes.
However, Tessa remained silent.
"I can see that you and Anna’s soul have been joined together. This is her body, but because your soul is stronger than hers and hers has been considerably weakened, your appearance is that of Tessa Liora and not my sister."
"I also know that if you wish to, you can allow Anna to take control without the two of you having to battle. And she can also allow you to take over her body."
"If I’m to guess, you’re sobody very dear to the bastard Pope. Probably his daughter, wife, or maybe mother... Or maybe even just a friend or a fucking stranger."
"Anyway, from what I can see, the Pope used my precious little sister’s body as a vessel to hold your dying soul. He modified it so that it could be powerful enough to hold your soul."
"I’m not well versed in the path of souls, but if I’m to guess, Anna’s soul should have died because of the vast different between the power in your soul and her soul. You should have been able to kill her and completely take over her body."
"But for whatever strange but extrely fortunate reason, Anna is still alive. Maybe it’s because she fought back or was persistent, or maybe it’s because you showed her kindness... But if you don’t switch and allow to talk to her, I promise you, I’ll kill you in the quickest, most efficient, and most ruthless manner."
