"And that is how a demon develops core."
In the capital city of the Fluger kingdom, inside one of the classrooms of the Royal Academy, a teacher wearing black robes said.
"Now that you all know about the demon core process, you all will get your first assignnt of this year."
The teacher retrieved a jade slip and said sothing, imdiately after a group of 3 people entered the classroom.
"These are your seniors. So pay them your respect."
The students who entered were third-year students, who will graduate from the academy after one more year.
Everyone stood and bowed to them.
"Alright juniors, here is your first assignnt out of the two assignnts that you will be doing this year."
The one who was leading the group spoke with a friendly tone.
"It's really simple, okay?"
The girl with black hair and a slim figure interrupted and showed a 'friendly' smile to the students.
"…"
The three of them looked at each other giving an evil smile to each other.
"Alright, so here is the assignnt, you have to go and catch a demon, dead or alive but the demon must have a core."
The third guy also spoke.
The room went dead silent. Only those demons who were Baron and higher ranked ford cores.
So these students were simply asked to hunt demons but high-rank demons.
The three of them including the teacher were laughing inwardly looking at the student's expression.
The three of them were simply taking revenge for what their previous batch did to them.
The Royal Academy had the course of 4 years, giving two assignnts to complete for three years each and only one assignnt for the last, fourth year.
The fourth year was like an internship, where a hunter works under different demon hunting guilds as a trainee.
A student must complete all the assignnts in the given ti to graduate with a dallion of the Royal Academy.
A demon hunter was given respect equal to or greater than a noble.
So the whole class was nervous because this assignnt was far riskier than it sounded.

"And when we enter in a fight with the demons, the first thing you should do is to cover yourself with holy magic.
The mortal body is made of five elents. Water, Fire, Air, Earth, and Space. Because of this, we have access to all the affinities. But we can go into the Major realm of only a few affinities. This takes to our previous point and that is holy magic -…"
But before the teacher could complete his sentence, his jade slip vibrated.
"Ah!"
He realized and answered the slip.
A similar event in other classes of three students entering the class happened.
Today was the day of assignnt distribution.
All the Second year students were left speechless when their seniors put this ridiculous assignnt.
"Senior students, before you say anything, let have a word with the class."
The teacher who was conducting the class spoke.
His na was Adelio Rollen and he was a 'demon sealing/tornting' expert.
The most famous among both the teachers and the students.
He was kind and gentle to every race except for demons. He was even called by the na 'Holy Grim Reaper'.
Holy for his noble, gentle, and kind nature for everyone and grim reaper as his thods to rip and tornt the demons were just too ruthless.
The third-year students wanted to refute and enjoy the expression of the juniors after the revelation of the assignnt, but they respected Adelio and so they nodded their heads.
"Listen students. This world works on a simple principle and that is 'hunt or be hunted'. The upcoming assignnt will scare you, you will wish to run away, and you will want a prince on a white horse to co and save you. But wake up from that dream, as when you will need soone, no one except for you will co to save you."
He spoke under one breath. Adelio's short blonde hair fluttered a little and his figure looked like a great general removing the fear inside of his soldiers.
"When the sky falls no one stands to bare its weight, everyone will save their own life and not yours. You all are strong and that is the reason you are sitting here today, but beco stronger and stronger and stronger… to the point that 'you' should be the nightmare of these demons."
His final words removed all shreds of worries inside all of the students.
Although they were still in fear they knew that this was necessary.
"And we are not ruthless enough to let what seven years ago happened to let that happen again."
He spoke as his expression turned serious.
Seven years ago 200 students of Fluger Royal Academy died as they fought a Viscount demon and two Barons.
Students got ahead of themselves, they all were third-year students and were assigned to bring a demon core.
The students left the assigned area and wandered in the wilderness.
A whole class of two hundred students was emptied that day.
It was called the 'Crimson Burn' tragedy. As the class was under Adelio's supervision he blad himself for what happened and refused to teach for a few years.
But he didn't stop fighting demons, as the event, in turn, lit the fire inside Adelio to kill all the demons and so he researched about demons.
This was Adelio's trauma, and when he returned he was still gentle to everyone, but when a demon was spotted, even the people witnessing felt pity for that demon and were unable to recognize the demon among the both. He was that ruthless.
"Haaa… So that is it, we teachers will be supervising the areas assigned and you all will be given the ans to contact us, now, senior students, you may proceed."
Those who knew Adelio's past felt pity for him and at the sa ti, the respect for Adelio inside their hearts grew.
Noticing Adelio's expressions the three senior students proceeded to tell the assignnt.

"Kevin, did you get your assignnt?"
Amaya asked while snuggling in Kevin's arms, she was carving for this and now, she was enjoying her ti.
She was in a different class as she was a noble.
"Yeah, I did."
Kevin neither refuse nor did anything to Amaya's advances as he was in deep thought.
'Michael, what do you think about this assignnt?'
'I know, but sir Adelio won't be happy if we did that.'
Academy selected only those areas where low-level demons are spawned and unless students don't roam deep inside, they would easily find low-level Barrons and get the demon core.
This assignnt was to be done in groups, a group of up to 8 students can be made. But students were also permitted to go solo as Academy never takes responsibility for their lives.
There were two reasons for this, first, so students can beco dead weight in the journey, and second, in the future, they have to fight demons on their own, so it was a good practice.
'So we should do solo grinding?'
