Abilities do not require mana. So I chose to gamble by stats rather than reduce Mana. I can sohow manage, and if push cos to shove I will use brute force.
I have to go to the human settlent, I can't change my appearance unless the bloodline awakens, and after comparing all the available options, this was the only ability that did not make sacrifice my Mana.
