Inside a stone chamber on the 13th floor, Jake was standing in front of a large summoning altar. Perry and the twin priestesses were reciting the chant Irene had taught them. Just below the altar, a young virgin girl was standing nervously.

She was Alice May, the last of the virgin girls to co for the ‘holy rite.’

It had been a month since the spider queen evolved. A lot of the things had changed in the dungeon. Jake had bought monsters such as ogres, basilisks, dark spirits, and even lizardn to arm his dungeon.

However, he quickly realized that there was only a limited stock of monsters in his system shop. Once he emptied the stock with his points gained in this entire month, he didn’t know when they would be available.

Thankfully, Jake had learned about the summoning magic from Irene, who was standing beside him.

With her knowledge, Jake was planning to summon so creatures. Unlike the ti he summoned the imps, the system did not assist this ritual.

That ant he had to prepare a lot of the materials. One such material was the blood of a virgin maiden. It was even possible to summon a lesser Hell Demon with virgin blood, but he and Irene were planning to bring sothing from the underworld.

”Back away!” Irene directed the virgin girl after she dropped her blood on the magic circle.

May stumbled back and Irene used [Heal] on her. The girl’s cut wrist began patching, and she cried. If Perry had healed her, she wouldn’t have felt any pain.

Irene didn’t care. She and her master focused their gazes on the altar ahead.

After getting May’s blood, the magic circle glowed dark red and pillars of evil mana shot from the ground. The three priestesses surrounding it chanted faster and faster.

On the ground, the mana started accumulating, and a dark portal appeared. From that portal, an unexpected sound ca out.

Skree!

Whoosh!

Jake smiled as Harpies flew out and hovered in the air. One… two… three… there were six of them. After these creatures all exited the summoning portal, it disappeared. The magic circle which was sucking mana to sustain that portal dimd and faded.

Jake had felt an unusual air from that magic circle when the harpies ca in. He looked at the black-winged won flying above him. As he’d thought, they were beautiful.

‘So these are the lower guardians of the underworld…’

”Magic, magic!”

”We ca from there!”

”He is the one!”

The 2nd Circle harpies chirped and descended. Irene was calm as she faced the creatures of the underworld. The priestesses ca beside Jake and he told them to leave with Alice.

”Are you the one who summoned us?”

”Tell, tell!”

The harpies gathered around Jake and Irene. They were noisy and troubleso creatures. However, he had just the right thing to satisfy their curiosity.

‘Inventory,’ Jake thought and a black bag appeared in his hand.

Jake opened it and threw the pieces of at on the ground. The harpies slled the human flesh and crouched down to eat it.

”Yes, I am the one who summoned you,” Jake said as they quieted down to eat the food.

”You are a demon?”

”Fascinating, he has horns!”

”Can we eat them?”

When one spoke, the others would follow. Jake looked amusedly at this group of harpies. He was expecting sirens or chiras.

The summoning spell Irene gave to the priestesses was forbidden to practice among mages. Even she had only learned it accidentally on a quest to hunt down a dark mage.

It could basically summon creatures from the underworld. However, it was broken, as it had no chanism to bind the creature before a contract was ford.

That’s why the harpies could fly around right after. Even if they killed their summoner, nothing would happen to them.

Jake had to make them his servants without having to sign a contract and he knew just the way to do that.

”Hey hey, demon. What is your na?”

”Do you have more human at?”

Jake could understand the language of these harpies which comprised abrupt shrieks and singing. They had a hypnotic effect and these creatures would enchant any person who had lower than 200 Will.

”I have a different at for you all,” Jake said, his eyebrows twitching. These harpies had no respect for a Demon Viscount such as him.

”What is it, what is it?”

”Interesting demon!”

The harpies had wings in the place of these hands. They were rather short compared to him. Only 5’7”. The lower parts of their legs were like birds. While the upper parts, the thighs, were human.

Their torso was exactly like a human’s. They had breasts, vulvae and buttocks. The harpies were naked. A normal thing. Jake couldn’t imagine creatures of the underworld wearing clothes.

These harpies were exactly as he had heard about them on earth.

”Who is the leader among you three?” Jake asked.

”Leader? There is none!”

”Yes, who needs a leader?”

”Demon, demon. Where is the at?”

Irene frowned hearing the constant shrieks of these monster won. She couldn’t understand them, but it seed her master could.

”Irene, leave the chamber and tell Erin to prepare for a trip to that human baron’s fief,” Jake ordered, stretching out his hand at the harpies.

Irene bowed at her master and left the chamber. Jake’s schedule was tight today. He was planning to leave the dungeon for a while to corrupt the surrounding nobles, but not without dealing with these half-birds.

Skree! The harpies had a great sense of danger and as soon as Jake’s hand started glowing, they imdiately took flight.

The female harpies shrieked so loudly that any normal human would die of it. Jake’s face distorted, feeling the sound thundering his eardrums. However, he still used his ability.

[Phantom Steps]!

He shot forward as a line of black light and caught a harpy in a flash. With her talon in Jake’s hands, the harpy powerfully flapped her wings and tried to carry Jake with her.

However, once he touched the creature, Jake had practically won the match. He used the next skill to force his soul’s will on the harpy to form a mark.
