In this world, Mina was Pristina’s only direct family mber.
Actually, the Corwell sisters ca from a powerful noble family of the Isterid Dynasty. However, when they were still little children, their father lost the right to succession to their uncle who they were not on good terms with.
After being exiled to a remote town, their father seed to have lost all ambition and beca addicted to gambling and alcohol. He beca abusive and started selling properties in his na.
Soon, he began selling his wife’s jeweleries and ultimately his daughters. Mina was just eight and Pristina was fourteen at that ti.
It was then that she started hating n. During her ti as a slave for two years, this hatred further solidified. Gradually, she and her sister beca uncooperative to their slave master.
No matter what their master tried, how much he threatened or tortured them, these sisters didn’t obey. Others would’ve killed them. However, their master was a greedy rchant who always cared about profit.
To at least get his money back, he resold the sisters to a trader, who got them on a ship to the Alora Continent. However, a pirate attack on the fluyt which transported them, changed their destiny forever.
After becoming a pirate, Pristina’s talent for the sword blood in battles, and she quickly made a na for herself in the seas. Later, she ford her own pirate crew called the Dark Cupids by banding with the female pirates who shared her sentints.
This was why the Dark Cupids never accepted male pirates as they hated them. It was also the sa hatred that molded and corrupted Pristina herself.
But even as a corrupted being, she still loved her only sister.
"What do you want?" It pained her to ask this question to this demon, whom she wanted to cut into a thousand pieces.
"Good." Jake smiled but he didn’t release the young woman in his arms. "What I want is pretty simple."
"And that is?" Pristina tensely asked. She was ready to attack him if his blade went even a hair further into her sister’s neck.
"Loyalty." Jake said. "I want the loyalty of you and your crew for the next hundred years!"
"Ridiculous." Pristina scoffed. She already knew what this ’loyalty’ ant. He just wanted them to be his slaves.
"Then..." Jake’s eyes glead red as he pinched Mina’s face.
"You..." Pristina raised her weapon again. "If you dare to harm her, I will make sure you and your woman die, even if I have to sacrifice everything."
"Oh, really?" Jake suddenly laughed. "If I kill her and focus on escaping. Can you really stop ? Actually, what confidence do you even have in defeating us two if we work together?"
Fiona flashed behind the pirate captain and charged up an attack. Seeing this, Pristina’s expression betrayed a hint of worry. What this demon said was true. However, his conditions were unacceptable.
"A hundred years is too much. The most I can do is a year!"
"Fifty years then."
"No, just one year."
"Ten years." Jake clenched Mina’s breasts, letting his claws sink in. "Don’t push too much."
"I..." Pristina froze. She breathed heavily for a few monts and finally sheathed her rapier.
"Alright then, ten years it is." She decided to concede for now.
’Once I get Mina back, let’s see how you’ll make submit.’ Pristina thought.
"I can be loyal to you but I cannot speak for my fellow sisters."
"You don’t have to worry about that." Jake stored his scythe in his inventory and transford back to his human disguise. Next, he passed the pirate girl he held to the homunculus.
"Kill her if she tries to do anything funny." He verbally ordered Fiona.
"What’s the aning of this?" Pristina frowned.
"Now now, don’t be hasty. I’ll release your precious sister." Jake said and took out a blank contract paper. "But first, you must sign sothing for ."
...
Terrifying magic attacks devastated the dungeon’s 13th floor as a giant red dragon and an evil spirit fought against each other.
Both of these beings weren’t sothing an ordinary existence in their circle could contend against. When they battled, those below 5th Circle had no choice but to keep a distance.
Right now, the monster settlents, mazes and tunnels on this floor were being destroyed every ti the two powerhouses clashed. The tremors of battle spread up until the 2nd floor and down to the 19th floor.
Except for the 4th Circlers who still battled on the sidelines, the monsters had already scrambled back down.
Those alive from the dungeon master’s harem, such as Perry, Alia, Erin, Yunna, etc. had also escaped. However, others weren’t so fortunate. One could see casualties on both sides.
On the elves’ side, one of the squad captains, along with dozens of 2nd and 1st Circlers, had died. The remaining 10-15 elves all hid behind the defense made by the druids, primarily protecting the summoners who were on the brink of collapse.
"We are dood, it is your fault!" One of the summoners shouted, her delicate hands tightly holding a wand.
"A dragon... A True Dragon had been residing in this godforsaken dungeon!"
"We wouldn’t step foot here in a thousand years if we knew!" Issac shouted while deflecting the stray attacks that ca their way.
"Those darn humans!"
At the mont, the elves were completely helpless. Even though the Evil Spirit was holding on for now, how long could these summoners keep up? Against a dragon’s offense, even the Soul Chira’s regenerative powers fell short.
At this mont, the heptagonal summoning circle suddenly began dimming. Actually, it should’ve closed long ago, but the evil mana in the dungeon had helped the totem spirit. However, it seed even that boon wasn’t enough.
Boom! Boom!
As Yvonne was firing triple draconic spells at once, she suddenly sensed her opponent’s power dramatically decrease.
"Reached your limit already?"
Feeling disappointed, she looked toward the elves. As a dragon, she was obviously far more intelligent than what these elves thought. If she wanted, she could’ve easily targeted those summoners and ended this farce in re minutes.
The only reason she went after the summon was to release her pent up frustration of being chained. But this was far from enough.
"Ugh, such a killjoy..." Watching the heavily injured evil spirit dissipate bit by bit, she felt as if she’d eaten an appetizer but missed out on the main course.
Once the evil spirit was fully gone, the summoning circle also shattered and vanished. In that sa mont, all seven summoners fell on their knees, sweating and breathing profusely. So even started bleeding from their orifices. This mana overdraw’s effects would last for years.
"We’ve... We’ve lost..."
"Run!"
Looking at the dragon up above, the elves collectively felt a crisis rise up in their hearts.
A few lower-ranking ranger elves used various skills to rapidly head toward the upper floor. However, Lena quickly closed their paths with various boulders.
Led by Yvonne, the remaining dungeon force imdiately surrounded what remained of the elven platoon.
"I’m sorry, princess... I have failed you, I have failed us all." Muttering in defeat, Issac looked around to see his fellow brothers and sisters huddled together around him, warily waving their weapons.
"Foolish leaf munchers, you still dare to point your toys at ?" The dragon girl chuckled. If that little fairy hadn’t told her to keep these insects as prisoners, she’d have already turned them into ashes with dragon breath.
Seeing the elves still trying to resist, a ball of destructive lightning ford on her draconic claw.
"Hah." At this mont, Issac sighed and put down his sword.
"C-Commander..."
"Surrender!" He ordered. "It’s no use."
