''Ivan.''
''Yes, master.''
''You and Splenna… ugh, such a pretentious na. I'll call you Spen. You two, follow Ash to the 10th floor and wait inside a guest chamber,'' Jake said.
The Dark Knight went ahead, and they understood who their master was talking about. The mage and the prince pursued the tall, masked man who hadn't spoken a word until now.
Once they were gone, only Jake, Lovia, and Ariel were on the 5th floor. Minerva had descended to the 6th floor already. She was probably waiting for the vampire girl to co and have her share of blood.
''That was tiring.'' Jake let out a long breath and spread his dark wings. He casually carried the trap master in the sa manner as earlier.
Lovia had been a D-Rank adventurer prior to coming here. Her personality was neutral, and she was a fairly intelligent woman. After being corrupted, her intelligence remained, but her neutral personality took a change.
p
''Follow , Ariel.'' Jake told the fox woman behind him and flew towards the floor's exit.
He didn't create a tunnel this ti. It took too much of his own and the dungeon's mana to do that. Now that there wasn't any urgency or threat, he didn't have to ss with the terrain again.
…
10th floor, in the evening.
''Good, you two have finally learned this thod of burning your blood. Though you still need a lot of practice, prince boy. Your mana is lacking.''
Jake was sitting on a chair while they stood subserviently. Ivan had learned the secret thod in just half an hour. After being corrupted, he had obviously beco a Dark Mage. That and his own talent let him master the skill in such a short ti.
On the other hand, the prince was barely passable. He didn't have experience in using magic. He did have a mana core like mages though. As a royalty, he had to go through a mandatory process of Awakening.
It was basically a ritual to awaken the mana core inside a human, developed by mages after centuries of research on magical beasts. That aside, Splennar hadn't really used magic, just like Baron Leo.
This Burning Blood thod only used mana as a catalyst. The fuel for the mystical communication through a vast distance was one's blood itself. It wouldn't take long for anyone to learn this. However, the incompetence of this prince made Jake frown.
He had plans to imbalance the whole internal structure of Grimbow royalty by using the 3rd Prince and this Court Mage. They will be leaving tomorrow. That's why he was giving them so much ti.
'He better not screw up…' Jake thought as he stood up and left the guest chamber. The two of them kept their heads down and followed him.
…
'Twas the night again. The sky was clear, and the moon had a sickle's shape.
A feast was held on the 65th floor upon the Dungeon Master's orders. He hadn't really celebrated the birth of his descendants yet. Jake had the capacity to do it, so why not?
Under a huge tent, chairs were lined up on which the pregnant won sat. Those who had given birth held their children, sitting on comfortable couches. They were busy breastfeeding.
The other won chattered, so standing, so feasting. They all took turns to feed Jake while he sat on his high-back chair, looking ahead.
There were leaders of various monster packs a lot farther. They thanked the dungeon master and ate human at. Droge was among them, eating so trolls and basilisks.
Jake let it be for today. Sotis he would be stingy, sotis he would be generous. Jake was moody. And his mood today was pleasant.
''They do great,'' he comnted as he heard the unique lodies.
The Court Mage, being an excellent magician, was also an excellent musician. Charlotte, Dorstone's daughter, was also trained in music. They both had string instrunts in their hands which Jake bought from the system.
Their playing was coupled by the voices of various singers. The harpies could sing individual notes with great accuracy. They made a great choir. Calliya and Ariel were surprisingly great vocalists.
The orcs were talented drumrs. The lizardn knew how to add bass to the high notes and hype things up. The elental spirits added unique flairs and gnos filled the background void.
They all tead up to provide music for tonight's feast. And the dancers topped it all. The priestesses and female mages from the reinforcent team now wore thin, short clothes. They danced in front of a bonfire, giving their master the entertainnt he demanded.
Their hips swayed along with the twangs of strings. They smiled charmingly when the choir rose, swinging their hands and stomping the floor.
These actions roused their master's attention. Those dancing at the front had generous proportions.
Asses jiggling, titties bouncing. Such energy. Such allure. The sight could leave any man enraptured.
Tonight, he had told his won that they could ask for one item and he would give them tonight. With so exceptions, of course.
''Nope, you've got your drops. I won't give you any more,'' Jake chuckled and shook his head, sipping his red wine.
Minerva was sitting on his lap, asking for another droplet of Life Elixir. He couldn't say he didn't expect this.
''I have many more things to accentuate your beauty. But you're greedy, so it'll co with a price.'' he teased her.
''Oh please, I'm already too beautiful. Normal things won't work.'' Minerva stroked her hair and harrumphed. Though she didn't leave his lap, inciting jealous gazes from Erin and Ruxa alike.
Well, she did have the right to say that. Jake just sipped his wine and leaned on his chair. He opened the system shop. Minerva looked confused, seeing him point at the empty air.
''What hand signs are these?''
Jake didn't answer her and kept scrolling until he found sothing interesting.
'Why didn't I think of this? It's enough to make this woman go crazy...' Jake crossed his legs, suddenly feeling his mber rising. He clicked the 'purchase' icon as Minerva suspiciously looked at him.
[Ding! You have bought the item, [Red Lipstick]].
