Those who were chosen as heirs upon receiving their master’s legacy stayed at their master’s altars and listened to their requests. So gods choose to leave with their heir even if they had to stay in their spirit forms. Lord Deva said, "We choose you because of your special fate. In the future, you will understand why we have chosen you as our successor. Xue’er do not be sad."

The Moon Goddess watches as the two recently accepted masters of hers in their soul form slowly fades. Even though she had just recently t these two, thanks to their legacies she had understood what kind of life they had lived all this ti. Her tears start to fall seeing the fading figures of her masters.

Shura and Deva were originally enemies, the kind that wants to kill one another every ti they et. But like what Lord Shura had ntioned, they had lived their lives for too long and to keep the balance of the world they must never get along with one another. That’s why the universe had punished them. Not to et. Not to see each other. Much less hear each other’s voice. For these two who had beco lovers this is no different from hell especially since they couldn’t die.

The problem is Primordial Gods are hard to kill and only another Primordial God can kill another. Though it is considered killing it’s only similar to losing their vessels and getting weakened. They would never die unless they passed their legacy to another person.

They had killed each other trying all kinds of ways to end this neverending life they have. However, only their vessels had perished. Their souls still couldn’t enter reincarnation. That’s why they were stuck in this tomb. They had chosen to stay here as this is the only place where they can find a successor. The power of Shura and Deva are top class, it’s almost impossible to find an heir that can accept their powers.

They had spent a few hundred years in this tomb. This tomb of the fallen gods has existed for a long ti and it never stays in one place. It would also pull soul fragnts of gods to create more halls and beco a dium to spread a fall god’s legacy. Yue Xuexia is the first one to appear in this tomb that they deed compatible with their powers. What made them happy is that they will be able to enter reincarnation together as Yue Xuexia is capable of wielding both Yin and Yang energies. This ans they can both accept her as their successor and finally end this curse of immortality.
