"The elderly man's breathing has beco stable!"

The eldest brother lay on the ground, with his ear close to the old man's nose, listening carefully.

"Brother, how is my grandpa doing now..."

The little girl's eyes were filled with hope, fearing that Song Yun would deliver a statent like a TV drama doctor—that it was ti to prepare for the worst.

"Little sister, your grandpa is now out of danger, but he'll still need to go to the hospital for a thorough examination,"

Song Yun said, smiling as he patted the little girl's head.

Just at that mont, the sound of an ambulance siren ca from outside.

Several doctors wearing white coats hurried over with a stretcher, and an older doctor first dispersed the onlookers before turning his attention to the patient on the ground.

The patient was advanced in years, in the acute phase of hypertension, which could easily cause dangerous fainting if not carefully monitored.

But, to the doctor's amazent, after an ergency examination, he discovered that the patient was slowly recovering and even the blood pressure was gradually normalizing.

"May I ask who called the hospital?"

The doctor looked around at everyone as he spoke.

Song Yun stepped forward, and the doctor, with a gentle look in his eyes, asked Song Yun, "What relation is this elderly man to you?"

"I don't know him, but respecting the elderly and caring for the young is a fine tradition in our Hua Country. If I encounter such a situation, I'll definitely help!"

The doctor deeply nodded at Song Yun's words. Not only did this young man have handso features, but his soul was also just as beautiful.

"According to the phone call, the patient's condition was critical, but now it looks like he will awaken on his own soon. Has any other doctor provided ergency aid?"

"Take a look at this."

Song Yun pointed to the old man's earlobe, which had stopped bleeding, and said with a smile, "I studied traditional dicine for a few years, so I had no choice but to resort to this expedient."

The doctor adjusted his glasses and looked at Song Yun with admiration, remarking, "Young man, you are comndable indeed!"

"Uncle Doctor, do we still need to go to the hospital?"

The little girl stood sweetly beside the old man and asked.

"It's still best to go for an examination to prevent any complications," the doctor seriously said. "Little girl, is this your grandpa? Where's your family?"

"Grandpa and I sneaked out today..." the little girl confessed with embarrassnt. "And I don't rember my mom and dad's phone number..."

"That's troubleso," the doctor said, frowning slightly. "Without a family mber's signature, we can't conduct so examinations."

This situation was rather tricky. If the patient had been in a critical state, he could have been treated as an ergency case, but now the patient might awaken soon. If they took him back for a check-up and the patient's family later caused a disturbance at the hospital, the doctor could face a severe penalty, and the departnt's bonus could be completely forfeited.

"Could we accompany him? We can pay for all the examination fees in advance."

Song Yun spoke gently, "After all, we can't just leave the elderly man lying on such cold ground."

The doctor pondered for a mont, then finally nodded his head.

Lifting the elderly man on the stretcher, the group entered the ambulance and rushed towards the hospital.

On the ambulance, the doctor who had been asking questions earlier was very kind to Song Yun, and later even inquired about Song Yun's dical lineage.

With his wife by his side, Song Yun could only mumble his way through.

Upon entering the hospital, Song Yun, led by a young doctor, paid all the expenses, while Ye Qingqing accompanied the little girl by the elderly man's side.

When Song Yun returned to the ward after paying the bills, he heard a commotion coming from inside.

He burst through the door and found the elderly man had awakened and was currently comforting the little girl who was crying on the hospital bed.

"Young man, I heard from Shu Shu that it was you who saved this old man's life?"

Despite his advanced age, the elderly man's gaze was piercing, and even Song Yun found it difficult to withstand his sharp eyes.

"Mm, how are you feeling now, sir? Is there anything that still feels uncomfortable?"

The elderly man shook his head, gave Song Yun a aningful look, sighed, and said, "You actually resemble an old friend of mine, ah, but that chap is now nowhere to be seen, and I have no idea where he has gone."

Song Yun didn't know what to say in response and sat awkwardly on a chair.

"I have already notified my family, and we are indebted to you and your wife for this incident. When my son arrives, you can ask for anything within legal bounds, and the Ouyang Family will be able to satisfy it."

Upon hearing the old man's words, Ye Qingqing's eyes widened in disbelief and she asked, "Are you... are you the elder Ouyang Shu?"

"You seem to know quite a bit, young lady," the old man said with a smile.

"Nice to et you, Grandfather Ouyang! My na is Ye Qingqing. My father went out of his way to visit you last year but unfortunately did not have the chance to et you."

Ouyang Shu looked carefully at Ye Qingqing and finally realized, exclaiming, "Are you the daughter of the Ye family from Magic Capital?"

"Yes, yes, it's really... really..."

Ye Qingqing's mind went blank, and her usual cleverness was of no use; she could only sit there blushing and embarrassed, with her head lowered.

"Is the Ouyang Family very powerful?"

Song Yun quietly asked Ye Qingqing, leaning close to her ear.

But contrary to his expectations, Ouyang Shu's hearing was not at all impaired. He sat up, patted Song Yun on the shoulder, and laughed, "The Ouyang Family is just alright. The younger generations are good for nothing; it's all supported by this old man."

"Then I wish you a long life," Song Yun said.

"What nonsense are you talking about!" Ye Qingqing chided him with a tap on his arm, "Grandfather Ouyang is already over eighty years old this year…"

Well, Song Yun thought to himself, this man looks like he's only in his sixties; he had no idea the old man was actually that old!

"To be old and yet not dead is to be a scoundrel; I am quite the old scoundrel," said Ouyang Shu, with a hearty laugh.

While they were talking, the door to the ward was flung open, and a group of people rushed in, quickly filling the small room to the brim.

"Father, are you alright?" A middle-aged man at the front asked anxiously.

At this mont, Ouyang Shu had lost the jovial deanor of earlier. His face turned stern, radiating a formidable presence without even being angry.

"Don't worry, I'm not about to die," Ouyang Shu said indifferently. "Let give you a heads-up; what happened today was entirely my doing. If any of you dare to reproach Shu Shu later, don't bla this old man for scolding you!"

"Of course not…" said the middle-aged man obsequiously. "It's good that you're fine. I have already contacted your personal doctor, shall we go ho now?"

"I'm quite well, there's no need for those white-coats! Now, let introduce you to my savior," Ouyang Shu pushed Song Yun forward, exposing him to everyone and said, "This young man is called Song Yun, a very interesting young fellow."
