Chapter 154: Ready For Breakthrough.

Edited by: Mochiusagi

The [Dragon Elephant Prajna Technique] was the Divine Art that Su Qin had obtained two days ago in the White Jade Square.

If Cultivated to Great Accomplishnt with all 13 Layers, one will obtain the power of 13 Dragon Elephants.

If it were a common Martial Artist who had obtained this Divine Art, it would take him his whole life just wandering in the First or Second Layer. If he had the talent and encountered good fortune, then maybe he will touch the Third or Fourth Layer. But Su Qin only took two days to complete it!

“With the power of 13 Dragon Elephants, coupled with the power of my Body, even if I don’t use my Divine Sense or True Essence, my Body alone is enough to suppress an ordinary 4th Heavenly Layer Legend…”

Su Qin felt the surging power within his Body, and a smile crept up on his face.

Legends always use the Power of Heaven and Earth as it is the most powerful. So to think that Su Qin can defeat a 4th Heavenly Layer Legend with just his Body, just shows how powerful his Body was.

“Moreover, my Body and ‘True Dragon Qi’ are constantly being maintained. The longer the ti, the stronger my Body will be.”

Su Qin thought and his face showed expectation.

In the early years, he obtained a wisp of True Dragon Qi, which can nourish his Body at all tis.

Although there won’t be much improvent in a short period of ti, once it has accumulated over the years, it will undoubtedly beco beneficial.

“In the myths, it was said that a Martial Artist that had cultivated his Body to the extre, smashed the void with just his Body. I thought it was just made up, but turns out that it is not actually impossible!”

“This also ans that as long as your Body is strong enough, let alone smashing void, the entire world can even be destroyed!”

Su Qin got a little riled up.

Soon, Su Qin returned to his usual life – Signing In, Cultivating, and had a very fulfilling life.

A year passed in a blink of an eye.

On this day, Imperial Princess Li Wan visited Su Qin, her face was solemn: “Third Uncle, I feel a breakthrough…”

“A breakthrough?”

“You’re entering Grade 8?”

Su Qin looked at Li Wan and slightly nodded: “Alright, you can start your breakthrough right now, I will be watching you.”

“Okay~!”

When Li Wan heard this, she imdiately started her breakthrough with eagerness.

Generally speaking, a Martial Artist’s breakthrough is extrely important. One would usually first find an absolutely safe place to breakthrough alone without letting anyone disturb them.

That’s because the Martial Artist would be imrsed in his Internal Strength and his mind would be focused on the breakthrough, aning he would hardly have any protection against the outside world.

If there were outsiders present during this ti, they could basically control the life and death of the Martial Artist.

Since Li Wan was breaking through in front of Su Qin without the slightest hesitation, she obviously had absolute trust in Su Qin.

Soon, her Internal Strength condensed into her body.

Su Qin took a look and knew that Li Wan’s breakthrough was successful.

In fact, since Su Qin – a 5th Heavenly Layer Arhat – often gives pointers, and coupled with the resources of the Imperial Family, Li Wan was guaranteed to breakthrough to Grade 8. If she can’t, then no one in the world can.

Sure enough, after a mont, Li Wan’s aura began to calm down.

“Third Uncle.”

“Did I break through?”

Li Wan opened her eyes wide and looked at Su Qin with joy.

“En, you are now a Grade 8.” Su Qin said.

When Su Qin said this, Li Wan obviously beca happier, her eyes turned into crescents as she gave a bright smile.

“In the future, I will beco a powerful Martial Artist and protect the Tang Empire!”

Li Wan waved her small fist, her face full of fighting spirit.

Su Qin asked: “If you want to protect the Tang Empire, you need to be at least a Peak Grade 1 Grandmaster, can you do it?”

Li Wan took a hit with this question and her small face imdiately beca downcast.

A Peak Grade 1 Great Grandmaster is an existence that is about to reach the end of 9 Grades. Looking at the world, there were only a few of them.

For a small Martial Artist like Li Wan, who had just entered Grade 8, Peak Grade 1 Great Grandmaster was too far away.

After all, Cultivation gets progressively difficult as one goes higher. The Lower and Middle Realms were fine as they can be achieved with resources, but the Upper Realm, especially Peak Grade 1 Great Grandmaster can’t be achieved with just resources.

As for a Legend or an Arhat, it takes even more.

If you were not lucky enough to grasp the Internal Qi between the Heavens and Earth, then you will be stuck in Peak Grade 1 and die as a Peak Grade 1.

Even for Su Qin back then, if it weren’t for the avalanche, it would’ve been impossible to grasp the Internal Qi as quickly as he did and then break through to the Arhat Realm.

At the sa ti, in the Long Life Temple.

Emperor Li Sheng was frowning.

“It’s been a year.”

“It’s been a year, but the assassin still has not been found yet?” Emperor Li Sheng kept pacing back and forth.

During this year, Emperor Li Sheng tried various thods to attract the assassin, including opening the Gates, even using himself as bait.

But it was all for naught.

It was as if the assassin really disappeared into thin air.

“Your Majesty, could it be that he took action?” The Commander of the Imperial Army next to him proposed.

“Who?”

Emperor Li Sheng turned silent.

Emperor Li Sheng naturally knew the he that the Commander was referring to.

“Well at least at the end of the day, as early as a year ago, the Blood Kill Gate had dismissed their disciples. Obviously, their Leader was afraid.”

The Commander seed to have thought of sothing, and said in a low voice: “In other words, the Blood Kill Gate has probably confird that the assassin failed and died within the Imperial Palace…”

“I see.”

Emperor Li Sheng pondered for a while, and nodded slightly.

In fact, he had already had this idea long before the Commander even said it, because the assassin did not even leave behind any tracks.

Other than soone taking action and taking care of the assassin secretly, Emperor Li Sheng couldn’t think of any other possibilities.

“Anyways, regardless if the assassin is alive or dead.”

“The patrol inside the Palace should never be lax.”

Emperor Li Sheng looked at the Commander.

“As you wish Your Majesty.”

The Commander then left the Long Life Temple respectfully.

Outside the Right Spring Square.

Su Qin sent Li Wan away, then turned around and entered the Right Spring Square.

“In one year, I have finally reached the 5th Heavenly Layer Great Perfection. It’s ti to prepare for the breakthrough.”

Su Qin thought silently as he sat cross-legged.

His breakthrough was not comparable to Li Wan’s breakthrough from Grade 9 to Grade 8. Every layer in an Arhat’s breakthrough involves the Body, Divine Sense and True Essence. One cannot be sloppy even by a bit.

Even if it was Su Qin, he had to wait until he was assured that nothing would go wrong before starting his breakthroughs.
