Entering the inn, they quickly went up to the highest floor, where a large room was situated. Entering the large room, Luan looked around.

"Rather spacious, more than enough space for all the servants and myself," he muttered, looking satisfied.

Taking a seat at the large table, Luan signaled for everyone to also take a seat. So they did, except for his personal servants.

Kian, Kafele, and Luciano stood lined up behind him with all the girls in a line behind them. Luan showed a smile and nodded at their display.

’Kian has trained them very well.’ He mused while gazing at all the personnel his mother had sent him at his request.

"Thank you all for coming." Luan stated.

Everyone made a slight bow to show their respect to Luan and looked at the servants who stood with perfect posture behind him.

"No more leisurely relaxing for you all now that I’ve arrived. We have a lot of work to do before I go back ho." He said, and Kian handed him so of the blueprints they had made on the way here.

Opening them in front of everyone, Luan grinned, "Ready to make so big money?" He asked, looking around.

Everyone gulped, nervously awaiting Luan’s next words.

"But before we go into the details, who of you all is the Imperial Contractmaster?" Luan inquired, leaning back into his chair.

Then a handso young man stood up; he wore a black suit, and his short blue hair was neatly combed together. He looked at Luan, gulping nervously.

"Hello young master, my na is Thomas Balor." He introduced himself with a bow.

Luan nodded, "Okay, Thomas, get the contracts ready. I’m pretty sure I put all the details I wanted in the letter, right? Or do you need any clarification?"

"No, everything was clear; I have the contracts all ready here," he said, pointing at a stack of papers that lay in front of him.

Luan nodded, "Read through the contract and sign it. If you don’t sign it, you’re of no use to , so leave then." Luan stated, looking at all the people his mother had sent.

Glancing at each other, they saw the surprise in each other’s eyes. This young boy, who had just had his awakening ceremony, was so thorough.

So were apprehensive and started thoroughly reading the contract after receiving it from Thomas, while others looked impressed at Luan’s thods.

They had seen his two older brothers grow up as well, and the contrast between them and Luan was huge, but then thinking about the mothers, they felt it made sense.

You don’t beco the first wife of a duke by being useless. Luan’s mother was a very capable woman, and they all respected her greatly. That’s also the reason they ca here after she had requested it of them.

While they were all doing their own thing, Luan looked bored out of the window, "Celia, make a cup of tea." He said.

Celia looked around, seeing everyone at the table stop what they were doing and look at the maids standing behind Luan; she beca nervous.

What if she screwed up and ruined Luan’s plans? Or even worse, if she were to be kicked out, she would have nowhere to go in this country, and she wouldn’t have any money with her.

Gulping nervously, she stiffly turned around and slowly walked toward the kitchen, making sure she didn’t trip or do anything unsightly.

Ava and the girls were all rooting for her, giving her a thumbs up, which Celia couldn’t see anymore.

Kian, on the other hand, looked at Luan with a raised eyebrow, but once he saw the huge grin on Luan’s face, he rolled his eyes.

While reading the contract, they occasionally glanced at Luan and Celia, whom Luan had asked to make a cup of tea.

Thomas felt very awkward; he wanted to scream, shout, or do anything to break the tension, but he held it in. Looking at the young master who was sitting there with a hawk and another creature on both his shoulders?

’Huh, am I going crazy? When did those appear?’ Thomas thought, rubbing his eyes and looking at Luan once more, but this ti he didn’t see the creatures anymore.

He looked around at the others next to him, but they didn’t seem to have seen them. ’Am I going crazy?’ he thought, shaking his head and lightly tapping himself on the cheeks.

’Stop thinking about unnecessary things and focus, Thomas.’ With that, he stopped looking at Luan and minded his own business, patiently waiting for everyone to read through the contract and sign it.

After a while, most people had read through the contract and signed it, but so were still hesitant. Luan took a sip from his teacup and put it down.

"The ones who haven’t signed yet, what is the reason?" he said, and everyone saw a complete shift in his earlier lax attitude.

They now felt an aura of dominance press on them; the people who hadn’t signed yet glanced at each other, then at everyone else in the room, and it looked like only they could feel this aura that the young master was emitting.

An older woman with visible wrinkles on her face, wearing an elegant dress, stood up with much difficulty and looked sternly at Luan. "Well, I’m not satisfied with the conditions this contract states. They’re way too strict and disadvantageous for the employees," she explained.

But right after those words left her mouth, she felt the aura pressing down on her multiply, and she couldn’t stay standing, falling headfirst onto the ground. Luan looked coldly at her.

"Kian, kick her out; I don’t need employees like her." Luan gave the order without even glancing at the woman.

Seeing this, Thomas couldn’t stay silent; he stood up and looked Luan dead in the eyes.

"Young master, aren’t you being unreasonable? The contract was very specific, and she does have a point." He said.

But when he saw the cold look in Luan’s eyes, he gulped, sweat dripping down his brows. Had he overstepped? Probably, but he truly believed in what he said.
