Seeing Ava playing with the horses, Luan smiled, clapping his hands to get her attention.
"We have to go sowhere and get the horses ready, Ava." Luan shouted, entering the carriage, not waiting for a reply.
Kafele followed close behind him, and they both entered the carriage. Inside, they saw Kian and Lily working hard on the blueprints.
"How's it going?" Luan asked taking a seat in the sofa, he glanced at the blueprints but didn't feel like checking it thoroughly so he let Lily and Kian explain it.
"We are making good progress. In a couple of days I'll start making the prototypes; at that ti I'll need your input, my lord." Lily replied with a glint of excitent in her eyes.
Luan nodded lazily, then he turned to Kian. "Kian, go outside and help Ava get the horses ready and go straight forward until you see an earth wall that shouldn't be there. That's where you need to go." After saying that, Luan closed his eyes.
Going over what went wrong during his fight against the hobgoblin. 'I was too lax, but it was also unexpected that he didn't get stunned. How co?' he mused as he rembered how the fight had gone.
Then he got an idea; he thought that it might have been because the hobgoblin got used to it after being electrocuted so many tis, and Luan didn't change the output; he kept it the sa to make sure he didn't kill the creature too quickly.
He nodded his head, thinking this was probably why it had happened, and he was glad it happened then and not when he was facing an actual threat; then it might've been deadly, but now it was only a single wound on his right bicep.
'It happens; I'm not going to worry about it too much. What's important right now is earning enough funds.' With that, he stopped thinking about it and waited patiently for the carriage to arrive at the settlent.

anwhile at the settlent, Luciano and Torg had finished gathering all the corpses, and Luciano was on the lookout for any other monsters that might want to eat the goblin corpses.
He couldn't let anything happen to the corpses; they were funds for his lord to start his own business.
Positioning himself atop the wall, Torg had made Luciano check north and east, while Torg checked the south and west. Making sure nothing could enter the settlent.
Holding his dagger, Luciano looked around cautiously; even though he didn't expect anyone or anything to be here except maybe a couple of monsters, he was still on guard.
Why else would his lord leave him here if he didn't expect anything to happen?
Even though he didn't understand his lord yet, he knew Luan was very capable, so he trusted his judgnt.
Deep in thought, he suddenly heard rustling of the leaves; turning his head sharply, he grasped his dagger tightly, peering at where the sound ca from.
There he saw three n, all wearing black pants, a black jacket, and masks. Luciano imdiately hid his presence. and climbed into a tree, making sure not to alert the three n.
'Who are they? They don't look like normal adventurers,' he muttered, unsure of what to do. Luan hadn't given him any orders as to what to do when sothing did happen.
He started looking for Torg but couldn't see him anymore. Confused, Luciano looked around everywhere; maybe he had misrembered where Torg had stationed himself.
But he couldn't find him, then he thought of sothing. 'Maybe Torg can hide his presence? I did see him appear out of nowhere after Luan snapped his fingers,' he thought.
Coming to the conclusion that Torg would probably follow the n and he should stay here. He hoped that was the right move, because if Torg had gone to find Luan instead and he let the n go without tracking, he was afraid Luan might punish him.
Shaking his head, he stopped the negative thoughts from forming and focused on the three n who had just climbed over the wall and were looking greedily at all the goblin corpses.
"Would you look at that?" one of the n exclaid, a huge smile forming on his face.
"If we ntion this to the boss and bring those hobgoblin corpses back, we'll definitely be rewarded heavily," another man said, licking his lips.
The last man, however, was unsure why the corpses were lying here so neatly organized. He looked around frantically, trying to find the reason.
"I don't see anyone or anything," he mumbled, and then a greedy smile appeared on his face.
"Quickly grab a hobgoblin corpse each and ntion it to the boss, then we can take credit and let them do the dangerous work of collecting the rest of the corpses." After saying that, he ran straight toward the hobgoblin corpses, grabbed one, and lifted it over his shoulder.
"Hurry up!" he shouted, making the other two mbers hurry up.
After grabbing all three corpses, they swiftly exited the settlent; with grins on their faces, they leisurely made their way back.
Unaware of the gorilla that was tailing them.
Luciano stayed in the tree until he couldn't see them anymore, then he jumped out. Landing close to the pile of goblin corpses.
"Are they bandits? They ntioned a boss and rewards. They should be bandits, right?" He looked at the way they had left, hoping Torg was tailing them.
Then he saw the carriage arrive; rushing toward it, he stood atop the earth wall.
When Ava saw the earth wall with Luciano on top, she stopped the carriage. "Kian, I think we have arrived," she said softly.
Kian entered the carriage and, with a bow, said. "My lord, we have arrived."
Luan yawned, stretching his arms and legs. "Alright, everyone except Lily, follow ; we have work to do." saying that Luan exited the carriage and looked at Luciano.
Then he looked for Torg, but when he didn't see him, he raised an eyebrow. "Luciano, did sothing happen here?" he inquired.
