It is as easy as it was to get lost before in the forest. However, it wasn't to the point that they would get lost imdiately upon entering the forest.
It also didn't make sense for them to have to resort to tracking rabbits to find the Eientei.

Wu Yan gasped.
"You guessed I would co here?"
Eirin shook her head.
"I sensed you the mont you entered the Forest of the Lost."
Eirin could have made it so that Wu Yan couldn't enter the forest if she wanted to.
However, she is a powerful nurse second, and a master strategist first.
She is incredibly tactical, with her prowess on par with Yukari.
Indeed, in the original work, she had fooled Yukari before.
Yukari is known as the Youkai Sage while Eirin is known as the Brains of the moon.
"You wanted to never find Eientei?"
Wu Yan frowned.
"I don't rember doing anything to offend your manor though?"

Eirin was never a Gensokyo resident, she ca from the moon, from a race of Lunarians.
And... Lunarians waged wars in the past.
Gensokyo fought Lunarians with Gensokyo partly led by Yukari.
In the past two wars, it could be said that Yukari had major roles to play.
Eirin stood on the side of the Lunarians.
In the first Lunarian War, Eirin set a trap for Yukari and was soundly clapped by Lunarians.
In the second Lunar War, Eirin betrayed the Moon people and joined Gensokyo. She didn't want to actively participate in wars anymore.
In the second war, Yukari ordered soone to steal a bottle of wine from the Moon. She did this to spite Eirin too, to mock her for her inability to protect the moon. 𝑅𝘈𐌽𝖔ꞖÊṨ
In other words, they were old and bitter enemies.
It isn't to the point of killing each other but they both knew each other so well that they wouldn't mind duking it out when the chance arose.
Eirin screwed her and Yukari screwed her back.
This is reason enough not to let Wu Yan enter Eientei.
She sensed Yukari's aura from him and decided that since Wu Yan is an ally of Yukari, he cannot enter Eientei.
"Hmm..."
Wu Yan wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry.
"I didn't think you would be so petty, brain of the moon..."

Eirin smiled.
"And... Having lived so long, sotis you need so chaos to spice things up."

"I have an important matter to tell the owner of Eientei, please let through just this once."
Eirin narrowed her eyes as she sized Wu Yan up.
Wu Yan also stared fearlessly back.
He ca here with no ill intentions.
Eirin could see that. She grinned when an idea popped up in her head.
"You can enter Eientei... But..."
Wu Yan waited.
She is about to give him the conditions.
Eirin took out a vial of dicinal liquid.
She tossed it to him.
Wu Yan caught the vial.
It contained transparent liquid.
"A new drug I made, I need a test subject."
Eirin calmly said.
"I changed my mind."
Wu Yan sensed sothing bad coming his way.
"You want in?"
Eirin smirked.
"Drink that vial of potion and you may enter. I will do you a favor, if you don't offend my master and Eientei, you may co and request a favor too."
A demigod's favor is a powerful tool. He could use it to do anything he wants in Silvaria. Even the great demigod protectors of Silvaria wouldn't dare offend him.
She had powerful dical skills, a smart brain, and the will to carry out given tasks.
Wu Yan thought about her offer.
"You want to drink this?"
Wu Yan gulped.
"What is it?"
"An interesting potion."
Eirin looked at the bottle.
"Drink it and it will draw out your deepest sins. My offer is valid for 7 days, test it and you may enter Eientei."
"The deepest sins?"
Wu Yan wanted to crush the vial.
"Why would a doctor concoct sothing like this?"
"Interesting, right?"
Eirin grinned.
"Of course, You can abstain from the offer. You may try to infiltrate and see what happens?"
This wasn't the wise choice.
Successful or not, the infiltration would be logged in her mind.
"A potion to draw out the deepest sin."
Patchouli's researcher soul burned brightly.
"Drink it, I want to see the potion's effects!"
"Try it."
Alice also chid in.
"It looks fun."

"Too chicken to drink it?"
Wu Yan opened the cap of the vial and chugged down the liquid inside.
