When the guardian deities and Alola's Totem Pokémon witnessed their revered 'god' being casually ridden by Roy, their expressions beca noticeably displeased and uncomfortable.

What's going on with this human? Get down from there imdiately!

However, when they observed the obvious intimacy and how their 'god' obediently followed Roy's words and commands, all of Alola's creatures collectively lost their will to protest.

What else could they possibly do? Their god clearly wouldn't beco anyone's pet or servant, yet here they were.

It should be noted that Alola's spiritual realm had finally been blessed with a deity-level protector only after giving birth to four guardian deities one after another over the ages. In this significant regard, the eldest guardian deity—Tapu Koko—had issued clear instructions to the entire Alola spiritual realm: "Cherish and protect this divine being with everything you have..."

Solgaleo's dramatic appearance, bringing Roy safely back with him, represented trendously good news for everyone present. Even Caroline, who typically maintained an emotionless expression on her face at all tis, felt her eyes light up with visible relief as she released a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.

"Very good..."

A fellow tester who had been fighting alongside her didn't quite hear what Caroline had just murmured under her breath. Thinking she might be talking to him, he asked again politely.

"Miss Caroline, what did you just say?"

Caroline instantly returned to her usual blank, expressionless deanor and replied in a completely flat tone.

"Nothing at all."

The tester imdiately rembered the widely circulating rumors among the Trainer community about the beautiful but intimidatingly cold Miss Caroline.

The tester now experienced the overwhelming urge to slap himself unconscious for his stupidity.

Why did I have to ask that follow-up question without any sense of self-preservation?

Compared to the jubilation and relief evident on the testers' side of the battlefield, Elite Alman's pupils contracted sharply with shock when he realized that Solgaleo wasn't carrying either Noah or Morey on his back as expected.

"How is this possible? How can this be happening!"

"How could it be you of all people!"

"Abomasnow! Kill them all for right now!"

Facing his Trainer, who had beco sowhat unhinged and unstable due to the psychological shock and stimulation, Abomasnow's movents beca noticeably slower and more hesitant than usual.

"Palu..."

Really... is this truly the correct path to take?

Obviously, the very mont Abomasnow ca face to face with the divine presence before him, the Ice-type Pokémon realized instinctively that anything he released in attack might prove completely ineffective. Most Pokémon were fundantally kind-hearted creatures at their core, after all.

Elite Alman clearly sensed Abomasnow's obvious hesitation and reluctance. He felt a sharp sensation of betrayal pierce through him in that mont, and he scread furiously at his longti partner.

"What's this! Even you are going to betray now?!"

Bulging veins appeared prominently across his contorted face. His features twisted into an expression filled with pure ferocity and rage.

Abomasnow simply closed his eyes, completely unwilling to argue with Alman about these painful matters any longer. These topics had beco subjects they'd been arguing about repeatedly for quite so ti recently. Bringing them up again now served absolutely no aningful purpose.

Abomasnow raised one massive hand reluctantly. A weak burst of freezing cold air blew forth from Abomasnow's palm in Solgaleo's general direction, but it carried nowhere near the trendous force it had possessed at the beginning of this battle.

Icy Wind—a halfhearted attack at best.

After the feeble Icy Wind managed to reach and briefly envelop Solgaleo's form, it was easily dispelled and negated by the warm, purifying light radiating from the legendary Pokémon like sunlight itself.

Solgaleo felt sowhat annoyed by this sudden, albeit weak, attack directed at him. He gathered the concentrated light energy throughout his body into a single focal point, then released it instantaneously. The attack struck Abomasnow, who stood protectively in front of Elite Alman, with devastating force.

Flash Cannon—a Steel-type move that hit with surgical precision.

Abomasnow released a heavy sigh within his heart as he felt the searing pain that accompanied his fall from his position in the sky above.

"Palu..."

From the very beginning, there was never any realistic chance of winning this battle...

When exactly had things started going so terribly wrong? It seed to coincide with when Alman had joined that cursed organization. His gentle, caring Trainer—the Alman who would show such a genuinely distressed expression whenever Abomasnow sustained injuries—had remained only as a false facade, a mask worn for appearances.

Abomasnow finally opened his eyes one last ti to glance in Alman's direction. He felt the familiar call from his Poké Ball calling him back. His form transford into white light and disappeared from the battlefield.

Elite Alman clutched all six of his Poké Balls tightly in his hands. Knowing full well that he could never hope to defeat Solgaleo in direct combat, he gritted his teeth bitterly in frustration. His mind worked quickly, and with a slight ntal command, the previously sluggish Forces of Nature trio instantly descended into a completely berserk state.

The guardian deities of Alola didn't have sufficient ti to react to this sudden change. Many unsuspecting Pokémon were struck by the Forces of Nature's sudden, violent attacks and fell helplessly into the sea below.

Air Cutter—razor-sharp blades of compressed wind.

Shock Wave—unavoidable electrical attacks.

Within re monts, Alola's sky beca filled with churning wind and storm clouds, mixed liberally with the devastating power of thunder and lightning. This chaos severely restricted everyone's range of movent and action across the battlefield.

Dark shadows were cast across the ocean's surface below. The injured Pokémon who had been rescued by their aquatic allies and pulled from the sea were spitting up seawater, having clearly lost all remaining strength to continue fighting.

The guardian deities naturally weren't content to stand idle. The energy within their bodies began surging forth powerfully. They coordinated their attacks with each other in perfect tactical harmony, careful not to make the sa elentary mistakes the inexperienced testers had committed earlier.

Brilliant lightning flashed with incredible speed through the air, resembling a massive silver serpent that wrapped itself tightly around Landorus, Tornadus, and Thundurus simultaneously. The electrical attack temporarily paralyzed all three legendary Pokémon, rendering them unable to move or counterattack.

Thunderbolt—a devastating Electric-type attack executed flawlessly.

Imdiately following this opening, the other guardian deities, who were certainly no pushovers in battle, launched their own signature moves directly at the immobilized Forces of Nature.

Psybeam—psychic energy condensed into a focused beam.

Nature's Madness—the guardian deities' signature attack.

Water Pulse—pulsing rings of water infused with confusing energy.

However, once the temporary paralysis effect wore off after several seconds, the Forces of Nature imdiately broke free from the restraining attacks delivered by Tapu Koko and the others. They began launching fierce counterattacks against the guardian deities with renewed aggression.

Observing that the situation was rapidly deteriorating, Roy reflected on Elite Alman's strange behavior he had witnessed just monts earlier. He quickly deduced that Alman must have done sothing specific—likely triggered so kind of control chanism—that caused the Forces of Nature, who should have been calming down, to suddenly descend into this berserk state instead.

Therefore, Roy patted Solgaleo's neck gently but firmly, signaling to the legendary Pokémon that he needed to assist the guardian deities in restraining the Forces of Nature as quickly as possible to prevent any additional unnecessary casualties.

Solgaleo had been eagerly wanting to demonstrate his capabilities for quite so ti now. Well, more accurately stated, he wanted to heroically save everyone and earn their admiration and praise. Now that Roy had given him explicit permission to act, the legendary lion was even more enthusiastic about making a dramatic impression.

With an excited cry, Solgaleo charged directly toward the Forces of Nature trio at trendous speed.

Observed from a distance, he appeared like a brilliant streak of free-flowing light, releasing wild hope and power to his heart's content.

With completely unstoppable montum behind him, Solgaleo slamd his entire body forcefully into Landorus, who was positioned at the front of the formation. The impact caused Landorus to crash backward, creating an enormous crater in the already damaged ruins of the Altar of the Sunne when his body struck the ancient structure.

Sunsteel Strike—Solgaleo's signature Steel-type attack, delivered with devastating force.

Landorus's distinctive brown tail twitched slightly for just a mont before falling limply to the ground. The legendary Ground and Flying-type Pokémon had been knocked completely unconscious!

Solgaleo glanced with an innocent expression at the ruins of the Altar of the Sunne, which his attack had damaged even further, adding insult to the structure's existing injuries.

"...La?"

I didn't do that on purpose! I only bumped into him lightly! How was I supposed to know he'd pass out so easily!

When Tornadus and Thundurus witnessed the strongest mber of their Forces of Nature trio being defeated so effortlessly and quickly, they felt only burning rage intensify within their hearts. They experienced no trace of the fear or caution that would be natural under such circumstances.

This troubling reaction only proved further that their ntal states were now completely dominated and occupied by artificial brutality and aggression.

Roy observed Solgaleo's overly aggressive actions carefully, genuinely worried that the legendary lion might actually inflict serious harm on the Forces of Nature in his enthusiasm. He quickly took over direct command of the situation.

"Little Nebula, just focus on waking them up and restraining them safely."

"La!"

Don't call by that embarrassing na anymore!

Solgaleo muttered his complaint with clear dissatisfaction, but he still obediently mobilized the radiant light energy within his body. He released it in carefully controlled waves that tightly wrapped around both Tornadus and Thundurus, ensuring they had absolutely no opportunity to launch any moves that might interfere with his restraining efforts.
