The injection of light wasn't endless. Roy noticed that after the spell's absorption rate reached a certain threshold, it began to gradually slow down.

If he had to compare it, at first when Roy and Solgaleo opened the stone door, the small amount of light that leaked in had made the spell react hungrily.

But now it was like a satiated creature—no matter how greedy sothing might be, there would always co a mont when it would close its eyes contentedly and pat its belly.

It had slowed down.

The first one to notice this was naturally Solgaleo, who was responsible for outputting the energy. He felt that the light he was emitting was slowly beginning to overflow.

"La?"

What's happening? I can't stop now!

The straightforward Solgaleo thought that the energy he was outputting had begun leaking out sohow, aning the energy being injected into the imprisonnt was gradually decreasing.

Solgaleo kept his dream of becoming a great hero close to his heart and felt that there were obstacles preventing him from achieving that heroic status. His first priority was naturally to increase his power output even more.

Roy only realized what Solgaleo was thinking when he saw that the light, which had originally been flowing in steadily, suddenly surged wildly like a raging torrent.

Roy looked at the inscription characters of the spell, which had beco stretched and strained, and quickly called out to Solgaleo.

"Okay, that's enough! The imprisonnt has been re-solidified."

His words had been spoken for a while now, but Roy still hadn't seen any signs of the light diminishing. It continued filling the entire narrow tower.

If soone could see this dark tower from another location right now—especially soone who had seen it before—they definitely wouldn't dare to compare it with what they rembered.

The current black tower was shining as brightly as a lighthouse...

Roy glanced helplessly at the slightly trembling inscription bars, as if they were saying they really couldn't take any more.

After a short while, Solgaleo finally sighed, realizing that even if he injected more energy, it would be pointless.

Solgaleo looked at Necrozma, who wasn't quite in the sa condition as before, and felt sowhat disappointed.

Why can't it return to the previous state?

"After all, the imprisonnt has been broken once, and it's impossible for there to be no effect on Necrozma."

Roy comforted Solgaleo with these words, while also comforting himself in the sa way.

Solgaleo was still a bit unhappy but also understood that this was already the best outco they could achieve.

"La~"

In that case, I'll turn my grief and anger into appetite!

Seeing Solgaleo acting affectionate toward him, Roy knew this guy was hungry again, so he agreed to let him have a good al once all of this was finished.

Solgaleo happily paced back and forth, flicking his tail, and the white tail fur swayed along with his movents.

Roy understood that in reality, Necrozma had slowly begun awakening from the mont the two deities were born. After all, it was his own light that had been suppressing him. Since that light had departed, the imprisonnt had gradually lost its original function.

This was also why Roy and the others had been so anxious. If they'd delayed any longer, or if Lunala had been more difficult to deal with, the current situation might have been completely rewritten.

Could this have been part of the Illuminati's conspiracy?

Roy shook his head. No, the appearance of Cosmog had already been considered an accident, not to ntion its evolution from Cosmog into Solgaleo.

If it were the Illuminati's plan, they would definitely have been more inclined to let a Pokémon they could control beco the "rising sun," rather than an uncontrollable Cosmog.

"Let's go. Back to Alola."

Hearing this familiar na, Solgaleo was naturally very happy and couldn't wait for Roy to jump on his back so he could take Roy and this precious cargo back ho for a big al!

Roy patted Solgaleo on the back and was just about to signal him to depart when he noticed that Necrozma, who had originally been lying on his side, was now sitting cross-legged.

Roy was startled—he hadn't noticed just now! And his Aura hadn't given any significant reaction either. Could it be because Necrozma was too weak right now?

Roy didn't realize that long before they'd encountered the Black Tower, his Aura had been caught and drained by the chaotic turbulence when he'd tried to stay alert. It had been focused entirely on keeping Roy safe until they'd escaped, and only then had it been able to fully recover itself.

But now Roy's attention was completely drawn to Necrozma sitting there.

"Little Nebula, was he in that position just now?"

"La!"

I told you not to call that embarrassing baby na anymore!

"Leo!"

Solgaleo lay helplessly on the ground, looking completely deflated—where was that majestic appearance from just monts ago?

Fine, fine—whatever you say. Yes, he'd been like that just now.

Roy smiled. He'd discovered before that martial arts novels would inexplicably appear in his belongings. It turned out this guy had been collecting them everywhere.

Who would have expected that this lazy fellow still harbored dreams of being a great hero?

However, looking at Solgaleo's current laziness, Roy suddenly felt that this laid-back creature's heroic dreams seed rather fleeting.

Then Roy stepped forward and observed the area around Necrozma, mainly examining the slowly circulating inscription bars.

Now that the light injection was very saturated—so of it almost overflowing—the inscription bars didn't need to move quickly over and over again to maintain the normal operation of the imprisonnt.

This made it convenient for Roy to carefully study the actual text of these spells.

"It looks sowhat like seal script, but it's not the script from China."

"It's also kind of similar to fonts from ancient river valley civilizations."

Solgaleo wasn't interested in the complicated squiggles and symbols his Trainer was discussing. Although he couldn't understand any of it, he just entertained himself and waited for Roy to finish his work.

Just like a well-behaved kindergarten child waiting for the adults at ho to pick him up from school.

After examining them for a while, Roy discovered problems with these inscription bars. So of them were blurred, so were completely illegible, and so were even missing words entirely.

The similarity among all these places was that even though the spell bars were now full of energy—with even the air shimring with golden light—these particular spots remained completely dim.

Roy thought this should be the reason for what Solgaleo had described as "not being able to restore it fully."

Because of the shattering of Ultra galopolis and the disappearance of the light used for the imprisonnt, the seals had loosened and degraded.
