On Poni Island's coastline, two figures engaged in hushed conversation.

"How's the situation on your end?" Noah Reginald asked his companion.

Hearing this, Morey Ivan shook his head and spoke in a low voice. "I haven't found it yet. After the last incident, the guardian spirits must have changed the location of the 'altar' and even applied concealnt thods. The area of these four islands is too vast—it will take considerable ti to search on foot."

Noah nodded thoughtfully. "Even you can't escape their surveillance... The guardian spirits of Alola are indeed among the top-tier legendary Pokemon."

Morey smiled grimly. "The guardian spirits are certainly powerful, but they're sowhat lazy when it cos to monitoring duties. There's only one guardian spirit actually responsible for supervising the trials. He monitors so many people simultaneously that his surveillance network is too broad and lacks detail. There are significant loopholes that can be exploited."

From their conversation, it was clear that both were searching for a location called an 'altar.' Moreover, they had thoroughly analyzed the temperant of Alola's guardian spirits, understanding that three of them were essentially slackers, leaving only one to handle serious work.

Naturally, only Tapu Koko was responsible for supervising the trials.

He used electricity fused with natural power to weave an electromagnetic network covering the entire Alola dinsional realm, monitoring all abnormal phenona.

However, he could only detect 'anomalies' in general terms.

For example, if two trial challengers were together and one suddenly lost signal, there was a high probability of combat occurring.

Similarly, if a challenger suddenly moved with unusual speed or flew at high altitude for extended periods, it would violate the rules about 'walking.'

Tapu Koko couldn't overhear secret conversations like the one between Morey and Noah.

If all four guardian spirits each monitored their respective islands, there naturally wouldn't be such surveillance gaps, and no one could escape their control.

Unfortunately, the other three had different priorities:

Tapu Bulu: "I want to rest~"

Tapu Fini: "It's so troubleso, I don't want to do it."

Tapu Lele: "Boring, I won't!"

Tapu Koko silently carried the entire burden alone.

"Send soone to continue the search," Morey instructed. "Don't worry, there's still plenty of ti, and we need to give our outside contacts ti to respond."

Noah nodded in understanding, then asked, "With the strength of Alola's guardian spirits, when the ti cos... can you really hold them back?"

Morey displayed a confident smile as he silently retrieved sothing from his coat and showed a corner of it to his companion.

It was a transparent lens—unmistakably a mirror.

"Now, are you reassured?"

Upon seeing this mirror, Noah's expression shifted to one of intense interest as he whispered its na in recognition.

"The Reveal Glass."

One of the legendary treasures from the US.

This artifact could shatter all illusions, reflect absolute reality, and restore all Pokemon to their original forms.

Transformation, camouflage, Skill Swap, Role Play, illusions—all moves that altered appearance or form would be broken by the divine light of this mirror.

In dinsional space, living beings could be stored within it.

However, its most powerful function was a miraculous effect known throughout the world.

The Reveal Glass could switch Thundurus, Tornadus, and Landorus—the three Forces of Nature—into their ferocious Therian forms.

Even if the three cloud gods were ultimately defeated, they could hold back the four guardian spirits long enough to achieve their objectives.

On the fifth day of the island pilgrimage, Totem Ribombee flew to Roy's side carrying a cup of homade honey, calling out sweetly, "Buzz~ (Are you tired? Have so honey tea!)"

"Thank you." Roy accepted the cup with a smile.

Totem Ribombee bowed her head lightly, indicating this was her pleasure.

Roy sighed contentedly while drinking the tea.

So thoughtful! So sweet! This little one was truly an angel!

Accompanied by Totem Ribombee, Roy observed Mimikyu training in the distance.

At that mont, Mimikyu sat with eyes closed, absorbing natural power and transforming it into a golden energy aura.

It had taken only five days for Mimikyu to fully reveal her talent and completely master the inheritance technique of "flowing Totem aura" that Totem Ribombee possessed.

The basic Totem aura simply wrapped around the entire body to enhance ability values.

The flowing-type Totem aura caused the energy to circulate through the body at high speed, ensuring all body parts were covered by maximum energy at all tis. The improvent in ability values was more than five tis greater than the basic version.

Even with a petite fra, it could demonstrate the full power of a Totem.

In fact, precisely because of the smaller body, the flow speed was faster—the enhancent wasn't as pronounced in larger Pokemon.

For example, a massive Pokemon like Blastoise, even if it learned 'flowing Totem aura,' couldn't achieve a five-fold increase.

Beyond ability value enhancent, the Totem aura could be expelled to create acceleration effects.

Alternatively, the aura could be concentrated at specific points to form defensive barriers or amplify attacks.

With these extended techniques, Roy was reminded of similar concepts from martial arts stories.

The na certainly had that kind of ring to it.

Observing Mimikyu, who had already mastered the inheritance, Totem Ribombee suddenly displayed a sowhat lancholy expression.

Seeing this, Roy quickly asked, "What's wrong? You look unhappy."

Totem Ribombee explained that Mimikyu's successful learning ant Roy would be leaving soon. She was very reluctant to see him go and genuinely wanted him to stay for several more days.

Totem Ribombee seed to think of sothing and quickly explained with a pitiful expression:

She wasn't blaming Mimikyu for learning too quickly—she was simply genuinely reluctant to part with big brother Roy.

Would Mimikyu be angry if she heard this?

Ninetales didn't know if Mimikyu would be angry, but she certainly was. Her nine tails stiffened with irritation, and she wished she could eliminate this manipulative little butterfly.

Roy comforted her gently. "Mimikyu won't be angry—she's also a good Pokemon. Besides, this is only a temporary separation. It's not like I'll never return, and we'll have chances to et again!"

Ninetales felt heartbroken. This naive trainer couldn't see through such obvious manipulation!

"Buzz! (That's wonderful.)" Totem Ribombee fluttered her wings happily, then imdiately announced she would notify all the Pokemon on the island to provide Roy with safe passage to the next island.

"Thank you so much."

Roy patted her head, and Totem Ribombee flew away with evident joy.

When Totem Ribombee had moved sufficiently far away, Ninetales couldn't help but expose the truth. "Nine!"

She pointed out that when other trial challengers arrived, Totem Ribombee displayed a completely different deanor—cold and indifferent.

The way she behaved in front of Roy wasn't her real personality at all!

It was all part of the guardian spirit's assignnt—just an act. Don't be fooled by it.

"Don't speak carelessly," Roy chided. "Ribombee isn't that kind of Pokemon. You're overthinking things. Maybe those other challengers did sothing to annoy her."

Ninetales was exasperated.

This usually intelligent and perceptive trainer—how could he suddenly lose all sense? Couldn't he see through such obvious deception?

Roy quietly sipped his honey tea, savoring the sweet flavor.

Manipulation? There was no such thing in this world—only so understanding and caring individuals.

Roy continued drinking his tea while gazing toward Ula'ula Island in the distance, which would be his next destination and the domain of Totem Lurantis.

For so inexplicable reason, he suddenly felt a chill of foreboding, sensing that sothing significant would occur during this island pilgrimage...
