The new people sobered up when they realized others were present.
“Which clan are you from?” The leader of the black armored n looked at Ling Chuxi and asked arrogantly.
“Clan? What do you an?” Ling Chuxi looked at the man strangely, not understanding what he ant.
“So you’re just a lowly peasant, eh? To think you have the guts to inquire about our origin! Hmph!” The man squinted at Ling Chuxi and scoffed contemptuously.
“Lowly peasant?” Ling Chuxi frowned. The man clearly felt that he was superior to her, and his language made Ling Chuxi think of those ancient clans that had long disappeared in history. Could it be that these n ca from one of those clans?
“Never thought that everyone in this realm would forget our Gongxi clan after a re ten thousand years. Ah, it doesn’t matter. From today onwards, our Western Palace clan will return to the Sacred Realm of Sects, and bathe every major sect in blood! When the ti cos, we shall see who dares to belittle our Gongxi clan. Hahaha...” The man laughed loudly.
Ling Chuxi guessed right—these people before her were from one of the ancient clans that had long disappeared.
anwhile, the sword heart and sword spirit had started fighting again. Taking advantage of the sword heart’s injured spiritual body, the sword spirit was trying to integrate it.
“My Lord, they are spiritual bodies!” A black armored warrior looked at the two people fighting and exclaid in delight.
“Wow, we just got back to this realm and already managed to encounter spiritual bodies! What luck! After absorbing their spiritual energy, we can open the seal and lead our people back to the Sacred Realm of Sects,” the leader shouted excitedly. He took out a long knife from his waist and went to attack the sword spirit, the other n following closely behind him.
“Stop!” Ling Chuxi did not expect that these people would take action so quickly. Although she had not yet recovered, she could only swing her sword to stop them.
“Impudent!” Seeing Ling Chuxi attacking with a sword, the leader roared and drew his long blade to slash back.
As their swords clashed and sparks flew, Ling Chuxi felt as if her sword was being hit by a thousand-ton heavy rock, and she was forced to retreat.
Ling Chuxi was stunned and baffled. He was so powerful, but his power was different from Battle Qi and True Essence. It was almost as if it ca purely from his body, but if he didn’t cultivate Battle Qi or True Essence, how could he get such strength?
As Ling Chuxi was thinking about it, the man slashed out his blade again.
This ti, Ling Chuxi could ascertain that this was really strength from the body itself. She couldn’t imagine how tough the body had to be to be able to exert such a tyrannical strength. If it were an ordinary person, even if such great power was stimulated, the bones and ridians would not be able to withstand it.
Could it be a monster beast? In Ling Chuxi’s mind, only the constitution of monster beasts could bear such power. Under the huge force, Ling Chuxi retreated a few more steps, blood spurting out of her mouth.
At the sa ti, several other black armored warriors had already gone to attack the sword spirit. The sword spirit was fully concentrated on integrating with the divine consciousness of the sword heart, and could only forcefully wave his sword to fend off their attacks.
However, each ti those people swung their blades, they brought out a strange dark fog which seed to have a strong restraining effect on the spiritual body. It was only a brief mont, but the huge sword ford by the spiritual Qi in the sword spirit’s hand was slashed into pieces by their joint forces.
