Although it was an exciting thought, Ling Chuxi knew the chances were slim. If the Golden Pill Sect of the past had an Ink Jade Crystal mine, the sect wouldn’t have been so easily destroyed with such strong financial resources.
“No wonder that Four Wonder Array is so powerful... it’s because of these mine veins,” Cang Yuan murmured in realization.
Ling Chuxi had heard several chanism masters talk about arrays. Ordinary arrays were driven by spiritual energy, so the strength of the arrays correlated to the surrounding spiritual energy. This Four Wonder Array wasn’t that advanced, but because it coincidentally enveloped the White Jade Crystal mine in this area, it had continuously absorbed the spiritual energy of the crystal stones, becoming extrely powerful.
“Alright, let’s rest first. Let absorb so spiritual energy; opening the array just now was too draining,” Cang Yuan said to Ling Chuxi with a sigh.
Cang Yuan began to absorb the power of a huge White Jade Crystal as it spoke. A bright light was released from the White Jade Crystal as it turned into a ray of Qi that shone like a rainbow and rushed towards the Luo Chen Sword. White Jade Crystals and Ink Jade Crystals weren’t on the sa level, as their contained spiritual energy wasn’t similar. Even so, in the blink of an eye, that large White Jade Crystal was absorbed by Cang Yuan, and the uneven stone wall behind them beca completely bare.
So those crystal stones were ford on the inside of the rocks... no wonder they were so rare! The Sacred Realm of Sects had a huge territory with uncountable huge stones and rare mountains. However, no matter how strong one’s cultivation was, it would be impossible to crack open every mountain range to look for crystal stones.
After absorbing that White Jade Crystal, Cang Yuan didn’t stop, and began to absorb another piece.
“Wait, hold on!” Ling Chuxi yelped in panic.
“Why?” Cang Yuan stopped and asked, sounding disgruntled.
“Can you leave so crystals behind? I still need these mine veins to sustain the Golden Pill Sect through this difficult period.” Ling Chuxi was worried that Cang Yuan would impulsively finish up all the White Jade Crystals in his excitent.
“Hahaha, don’t worry. I see there’s sothing you haven’t noticed yet.” Cang Yuan didn’t absorb the crystals and smiled mysteriously.
“What?” Ling Chuxi looked around, but didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary.
“This passage is obviously artificial, dug by the predecessors of the Golden Pill Sect to mine the White Jade Crystals. Theoretically, there shouldn’t be any leftover crystal stones, but look—there are so many White Jade Crystals around. Haven’t you wondered why that is?” Cang Yuan asked cryptically.
“Is it because by the ti they finished digging the passage, the Sect was destroyed by the enemy, so they didn’t have enough ti to take away the crystal stones?” Ling Chuxi guessed, only now realizing the inconsistency.
“How can there be such a coincidence? If you look carefully, there are no tools left in this passage, and there are no traces of damage on these White Jade Crystals,” Cang Yuan added.
Ling Chuxi squinted at the crystals, and realized that what Cang Yuan said was true. The White Jade Crystals weren’t damaged at all, which would not be possible had it been a passage that had just been opened.

“If my guess is right, there is probably a White Jade Crystal Heart hidden in the depths of this mine vein,” Cang Yuan said confidently, sounding delighted.
Ling Chuxi stared at him blankly. Before coming to the Sacred Realm of Sects, she had never even heard about crystal stones, not to ntion a crystal heart or whatnot. However, judging by Cang Yuan’s tone, it must be sothing really good!
