“Ask you what? How you cheat people and still manage to escape in one piece after being chased and beaten?” Lan Xinyu rolled her eyes and asked with a snort.
“About my identity! Aren’t you all curious?” Jiang Wuhen was stunned. He had always wanted to keep it a secret, but by the ti he had finally ntally prepared himself to co clean, nobody took it seriously or bothered to ask about it. He was at a loss.
“Aren’t you Jiang Wuhen?” Baili Han looked at Jiang Wuhen strangely.
“That’s right. The Godly Doctor and Number One Know-it-all, Jiang Wuhen. What else is there to be curious about?” Lan Xinyu scoffed discourteously.
“Ah!” Jiang Wuhen had worried about this for half a day and restrained himself from talking about it, and in the end, he had actually received an answer like this! A baffling sense of disappointnt filled him.
“We’re heading back. Are you going to set up another stall to save the world and set free all living beings, or are you coming with us?” Lan Xinyu asked in annoyance.
“I think I’ll find a place to set up a stall,” Jiang Wuhen muttered dejectedly.
“Then we won’t bother you. When you get beaten up later, rember to run further away so we won’t be associated with you,” Ling Chuxi instructed him. Recently, she’d been cleaning up his sses quite often and she was getting tired of it.
As he watched them leave, an affectionate smile appeared on Jiang Wuhen’s face. The Godly Doctor and Number One Know-it-all, eh? Those words could not even trick ordinary people, so how could they possibly fool Lan Xinyu and Baili Han? They obviously had the sa tacit understanding as Ling Chuxi and rely did not wish to ask him anything more about his past.
This was the trust between friends. Jiang Wuhen’s heart was flooded with an overwhelming warmth he had never felt before.
“Big Brother Jiang, I have already set up the stall! Shall we begin?” Li Shaoqiu had already set up the little stall and hung the cloth banner that read ‘Number One Know-it-all’ above it.
“Oh, let’s start then! Ti to earn ourselves so money.” Jiang Wuhen hurriedly sat behind the stall, adjusted his clothes and put on the airs of an expert.
“Big brother, you know so many things! If I had known earlier, we wouldn’t have needed to see sick people or tell fortunes, we would just have to point them in the right direction of what they were looking for! What a great idea!” Li Shaoqiu exclaid, his eyes sparkling in awe.
Jiang Wuhen smiled without saying anything. Li Shaoqiu was just trusting him blindly without thinking, but being worshipped like this was quite a good feeling too.
When Jiang Wuhen opened his eyes again, Li Shaoqiu had disappeared. Jiang Wuhen looked around in confusion. Where had he gone?
Unfortunately, the group found out a few seconds later.
“Great Master Jiang, it’s you! Because of you, I finally found my parents that I had been separated from for seventy years! The heavens took pity on us and finally reunited us... Great Master Jiang, if not for you, I would have always thought that I was an orphan, abandoned with no parents or support...” Very quickly, pitiful wails and cries rang out in front of the stall. Turns out that the young master Li was doing sothing very important, which was acting as Jiang Wuhen’s accomplice! However, his speech this ti was way too dramatic.
‘My accomplice, this idea is a little too ridiculous...’ This ti, even Jiang Wuhen was speechless.
‘Separated for seventy years from his parents? How is that believable?’ Hearing Li Shaoqiu’s miserable wails, Ling Chuxi and the others were completely dumbfounded.
“Let’s go, quick!” The group ran off, escaping Li Shaoqiu’s nonsensical act.
