“You! How dare you touch my people?!” Ye Qianhe realized that soone was not taking him seriously and beca furious. He quickly pulled back the veil to take action.
Ling Chuxi turned around, pretending to be pleasantly surprised. “Aiya, isn’t this old mister Ye? Long ti no see, I’ve missed you! You definitely missed too, right?” Ling Chuxi said with a bright smile, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
Ye Qianhe’s hand froze and the blood drained from his face. He stared at Ling Chuxi for ages, as if he was looking at a ghost. Not eting her for a long ti was true, but missing her? Not likely! Who could miss this little harbinger of doom?!
“You... Why are you here?!” Ye Qianhe stamred, his face ashen. He had co crashing down from his pedestal, waking up to a painful reality.
