When Ling Yichen thought about it though, it made sense. Although Ling Yichen had sought Mo Kongyuan and the others’ guidance, the ti was, after all, too short. Comparatively speaking, even though they were both at the realm of Great Fulfilnt, Jiang Wuhen had been born in a sect, and grew up in that environnt, so his understanding of the martial path surpassed Ling Yichen’s quite a bit. Otherwise, he would not have been able to counter Ye Qingyun’s blows until now.
And after all, Mo Kongyuan had been imrsed in the martial path for centuries, and no matter how much he suppressed his cultivation, that experience and artistic conception could not possibly be suppressed. It might just be a simple sword stance or sword play, but Ling Yichen would need to spend a great amount of ti to comprehend it.
Ling Yichen focused his full attention on the two people exchanging blows. Jiang Wuhen’s Battle Qi cultivation was about the sa as Ling Yichen’s, so his sword stance and artistic conception was also much easier to understand.
Slowly, Ling Yichen’s mind was enlightened, as if he was the one fighting. Every ti a sword was drawn and the sword qi collided, it touched him deeply.
If Ye Qingyun’s sword stance was as beautiful as the vast starry sky, then Jiang Wuhen’s sword stance was like the night breeze, seemingly invisible yet all around. At that mont, Ling Yichen had a feeling that although they were both using swords, they had actually already left the sword body and were integrated into the energy flow of heaven and earth and all living creatures.
If this was their sword intent, then what about him?
Unknowingly, Ling Yichen’s mind seed to have a hint of understanding that was becoming clearer. Just like a cocoon that was about to break open, a small crack appeared, and the crack beca bigger and bigger, only waiting for the the butterfly to erge from the cocoon.
The two people who were exchanging blows failed to notice that within the vast heavens and earth, a surge of spiritual qi was quietly moving. Within the cold and stunning eyes of Ling Yichen, it was blooming with a strange magnetism.
In the surrounding area where the two people exchanged blows, the starry sword light beca increasingly dense, and Jiang Wuhen’s cultivation technique beca more slow and sluggish. Finally, with a soft ring, Jiang Wuhen and his sword were sent flying by Ye Qingyun, and fresh blood drenched his thigh.
Although his artistic conception of martial techniques and sword play was not bad, his cultivation was ultimately still weaker than the other party by an entire stage.
“Just now, what you used was the Clear Wind Sword Play, right? I never would have thought that the Clear Wind Sword Play that even your eldest brother could not understand could actually be comprehended by you. However, trash is still trash. As the legitimate heir of a sect who only possesses the cultivation of Great Fulfilnt, so what if you know the Clear Wind Sword Play?” Ye Qingyun shook the blood off his sword and scoffed.
“So what if I’m trash? Even with cultivation at the realm of Great Fulfilnt, wasn’t I still able to leave a mark on your body? The Heavenly Star Sword Array doesn’t seem that great, after all,” Jiang Wuhen mocked.
“What?!” Ye Qingyun quickly looked down, following Jiang Wuhen’s line of sight. The bottom of his shirt was torn, and small pearls of blood slowly appeared on a crooked sword injury on his abdon. The wound was very shallow, and if Jiang Wuhen hadn’t ntioned it, Ye Qingyun wouldn’t have known it was there.
“Feng Wuhen, you worthless being! How dare you injure ?” Even though his injury was minor, Ye Qingyun was greatly angered. With his cultivation at the realm of True Essence, within a short two hours, he had actually been injured by two opponents from the realm of Great Fulfilnt. Additionally, one of those opponents was the useless Feng Wuhen who had long been the brunt of mockery amongst the sects. How could he possibly accept this?
“If even a piece of trash could injure you, what does that make you?” Jiang Wuhen taunted, his eyes gleaming.
“Do you really think I’ll spare your life just because you are from the Clear Wind Sect, Feng Wuhen?” Ye Qingyun roared, his eyes blazing.
“My na is Jiang Wuhen (1), and I am not at all related to the Clear Wind Sect,” Jiang Wuhen replied icily.
Note: (1) Clear Wind Sect in Chinese is Qing Feng, so Feng Wuhen cos from the Feng in the sect’s na
