It was just as everyone saw. It was over. This Sword Pill eting had ended so abruptly just like that.

Everything had happened too suddenly. Just a mont ago, two swords were still clashing and clanging in the air, but in the blink of an eye, Ghost Hand had already crumbled to the ground.

What exactly happened? Everyone was shocked silly.

Even Ling Chuxi herself was a little baffled. She had originally thought that there would be a final heaven’s-shocking-earth-shattering attack, but she never expected that everything would end so abruptly. Seeing Ghost Hand who had collapsed on the ground, Ling Chuxi was at a loss.

After quite a while, Su Yanhua and the rest of the Su family mbers regained their senses from the earlier shock and confusion they felt and erupted into roaring cheers. Although no one knew how it had happened exactly, the truth was laid bare before their eyes. The competition between the Sus and the Qius, two families who had dueled it out through Sword Pill etings that had gone on for hundreds of years, had finally co to an end. The Su family’s Resurrection Hall had won against the Qiu family’s Life Transformation Hall. This also ant that the Qiu family’s stream of dical skills passed down to them by the Golden Pill Sect was to fall into the Su family’s hands and the Su family mbers were to beco the rightful rulers of the Golden Pill Sect.

Qiu Gaohe and the rest had turned a deathly ashen. They lost. They had actually lost just like that. They had originally thought that with soone from Cold Moon Palace taking action in their place, there was no doubt that the Qiu family would win this ti’s Sword Pill eting. However, how was it that they had lost instead? Furthermore, they had lost so suddenly and so bizarrely.

“Brother Qiu, I deliver my thanks,” said Su Yizhi with a smile as he stood before Qiu Gaohe.

Qiu Gaohe moved his mouth and feeling only an extraordinarily bitter taste within it, he was unable to speak a single word in reply.

“Brother Qiu, the Su and Qiu families have finally drawn a winner after many years of Sword Pill etings, therefore deciding on the rightful rulers of the Golden Pill Sect. In the future, as we, the Su family work on reviving the sect, I hope that you will do your best to assist us,” said Su Yizhi, returning the words Qiu Gaohe had thrown at him earlier.

Qiu Gaohe’s face slowly turned red and then white. For Su Yizhi to comnt that Ling Chuxi’s tongue was venomous ant little as Su Yizhi himself did not seem to be much better off in this regard.

“Brother Qiu, do rember that the Qiu family’s set of secretly inherited dical skills should also be handed over to the Golden Pill Sect’s rightful rulers to protect,” continued Su Yizhi, not bothering with Qiu Gaohe’s expression.

Qiu Gaohe subconsciously glanced over at Qing Lingyan. She had a dark look on and did not even glance back at him.

Qiu Gaohe hesitated for a mont but in the end, he dug out an old book with yellowing pages from his sleeve and passed it into Su Yizhi’s hands hatefully. The terms and conditions of the Sword Pill eting was sothing the Su and Qiu families had agreed on hundreds of years ago. He also had no way to renege on it now.

“Take him away,” Qing Lingyan ordered the handmaidens by her side. With him using the Sword Heart Soul Breaking Technique, Ghost Hand’s identity as a mber of Cold Moon Palace was not hidden anymore, therefore there was no need to keep it under wraps. It was just that she had never thought that after using their sect’s top skill, Ghost Hand was still defeated.

Before leaving, Qing Lingyan took a hard look at Ling Chuxi with eyes full of resentnt and anger.

However, Ling Chuxi was still recalling the amazing feeling she had felt earlier and totally did not notice Qing Lingyan’s gaze.

Just now the power of the cold and gloomy qi that appeared in her Qi Ocean was too amazing. If it were not for the Dazzling Heart Stone on her wrist, or for Ghost Hand’s sudden usage of the Sword Heart Soul Breaking Technique, perhaps Ling Chuxi would never have known in her entire lifeti that her own Qi Ocean actually contained such an aura.

Ling Chuxi vaguely understood so events of past now. Now wonder when she broke through the last ti, all the huge rocks around her were frozen over and shattered by an extrely cold temperature. There was no living being within a mile’s radius of that strange location and yet she herself could remain there without harm and had even successfully achieved a breakthrough. Now she knew that it was precisely so because her own body contained the sa kind of cold, gloomy aura that perated that place.

However, as to why was there such a tyrannical, cold and gloomy aura in her body and what its relation to the Dazzling Heart Stone was? She had no answers to either of these questions for now. Ling Chuxi realized that her own origin story had beca even more bewildering than before.
