Didn’t say exactly what ti? Feng Yan Union’s thod of handling things was really odd. anwhile, Ling Chuxi found that the Thousand Storey Restaurant’s food did indeed live up to their reputation. Having a al in such an environnt, even her mindset and emotions were different. Ling Chuxi felt very satisfied with her al. It was just that even after she was done with her al, the people from Feng Yan Union still had not appeared. This made Ling Chuxi really wonder if anyone from Feng Yan Union would really appear tonight.

Even after waiting a while once they were done with dinner, no one from Feng Yan Union appeared. Thus, Ling Chuxi’s group of three finally decided to leave the Thousand Storey Restaurant. They chose not to return ho via carriage, but instead slowly strolled along the streets. A walk was good to help them digest their food. A group of children were having a snowball fight by the side of the road, smiling and laughing as they ran about. Ling Chuxi had no choice but to slow down and watch the group of children whose faces had turned red due to the cold and yet were still playing so happy. At this mont, a little boy ran past Ling Chuxi and was about to fall over. Subconsciously, Ling Chuxi reached out a hand to support him.

Suddenly, she heard the little boy whisper into her ear in his child voice, “Miss Ling Chuxi, do you know what it is that you wish to find out about?”

Ling Chuxi’s pupils instantly contracted as she lowered her head to look at the young child she was supporting. The little boy smiled at her and repeated himself, “Miss Ling Chuxi, what do you wish to find out about?”

This child! This little boy was actually soone from Feng Yan Union! Feng Yan Union had chosen such a thod to send soone from their side to appear before her and ask her about what information she sought to find out.

“I wish to know about my parents,” replied Ling Chuxi softly. “And also, my elder brother.”

“Understood.” The child gave her a bright and innocent smile. “I will return to await further instructions. As for the price, we will look for you again later.” Once the little boy finished speaking, he wriggled away from Ling Chuxi’s supportive hand and with a cry, he gathered up a snowball and rushed towards the other children to continue with their snowball fight.

Ling Chuxi stood rooted to the spot, staring in a daze after the little boy who was running off. Indeed, it was as Fu Chengyu had said. The Feng Yan Union had all kinds of people as its mbers. She really never thought that even a young child would actually be a mber of the Feng Yan Union.

“Chuxi, what’s wrong?” asked both Ling Yichen and Fu Chengyu. They were walking ahead of her and suddenly noticed that she had stopped moving forward, thus both of them turned their heads towards her to question her hesitantly.

“I just t soone from Feng Yan Union,” replied Ling Chuxi in a soft voice.

“What? Where?” responded Ling Yichen in surprise.

“That child right there,” said Ling Chuxi as she raised her head to look at the group of children having a snowball fight, but she was astonished to find that the child she had spoken to earlier on was no longer there. “Eh? He’s gone.”

“That should be soone from Feng Yan Union then. Their whereabouts and comings and goings are always this strange,” said Fu Chengyu without a hint of surprise. “Miss Chuxi, what was told to you?”

“The kid said that he would await further instructions and look for later on,” replied Ling Chuxi.

“Yeah, sounds about right. It should not be a problem then. Feng Yan Union has never had any instance where they were unable to obtain information. Let’s go,” said Fu Chengyu with a nod.

After hearing Fu Chengyu’s reply, Ling Chuxi felt more assured. However, her heart started to pound. What kind of news would Feng Yan Union bring to her in the end? What exactly did Ling Wushang’s words an? Return, return... Did she originally belong to this world? This was too unbelievable.

And so, Ling Chuxi waited for Feng Yan Union to reply, full of anticipation and with a pounding heart. Seeing Ling Chuxi who was constantly in a daze, Fu Chengyu felt suspicious. What kind of information did Ling Chuxi ask Feng Yan Union for exactly? Why was she in such a state? However, he did not open his mouth to ask. He knew that he was not qualified to care about this. In Ling Chuxi’s heart, he was rely Yichen’s senior brother, and could not even be considered as a friend.
