"Let’s go, I’ll take you to the hospital for a check-up." Xia Mian didn’t let Lu Zechuan continue driving; she chose to drive herself.

Lu Zechuan slightly lifted his head, his dark eyes glanced at her, "When did you get your driver’s license?"

Xia Mian chuckled, "I just got it a few days ago. Do you mind if I drive your car?"

Lu Zechuan smiled faintly, "Go ahead."

Xia Mian didn’t say more.

Lu Zechuan’s forehead was injured; she only gave him a simple treatnt. He still needed to go to the hospital for further examination to check if his head was hurt.

After all, this man seed plagued with misfortune; being cautious was always wise.

However, before Xia Mian could drive to the hospital, Lu Zechuan received a call from ho.

"Yes, I’m heading over right now." Lu Zechuan hung up the phone, his expression turning grim once again.

After the bump, his leg hurt fiercely, causing him to limp badly while walking.

Lu Zechuan was tall and strong, making Xia Mian seem rather petite beside him.

Being supported by Xia Mian worried Lu Zechuan that he might crush her under his weight.

But, with no one else present to lean on, he had to rely on Xia Mian as a human crutch.

Xia Mian supported Lu Zechuan to the outside of the ergency room, where all the Lu Family mbers waiting outside. Among the younger ones, Xia Mian only recognized Lu Zeming, and among the elders, she knew Lu Zhenqing and Shen Man.

Lu Zhenqing and Shen Man were initially sitting on the bench outside the ergency room. Upon seeing Lu Zechuan coming, Shen Man seed to breathe a sigh of relief.

"What happened to your face?" Halfway through her speech, Shen Man noticed Lu Zechuan’s forehead, asking with concern.

Lu Zechuan ignored Shen Man, bypassing her to reach the ergency room entrance.

Xia Mian silently followed behind Lu Zechuan, her gaze slightly lifting to the lit light above the ergency room.

Being brushed off by Lu Zechuan, embarrassnt briefly flashed across Shen Man’s face as Lu Zhenqing frowned in displeasure, "This bastard is getting more and more unruly!"

Shen Man clutched his hand, magnanimously smiling, "Don’t bla him. I took his mother’s place, and it’s understandable that he resents ."
