Lewis sighed. The death of a mber wasn't a good sign.

"I told him to scout. Who knows what ss he made this ti." Lewis rubbed his wrinkled forehead in annoyance. "Did you find any signs of what might have caused his death?"

"His own sword was impaled on his chest and the woman too was badly injured..."

Lewis nodded. It was then that Byron appeared and joined the fray. Seeing the distraught faces of everyone he could only raise his brows. But he chose to ignore it. He had sothing which was probably more important to discuss.

"Lewis got the news, found three of them at 9. There were two girls and one man. Seed like they had just fought off a pack."

Lewis nodded.

"Good work. At least soone is doing his work properly."

He had to now choose the direction he would proceed. Lewis never considered won to be much of a threat. Out of the option of a won infested groups like Klautz's and an unknown elent that had possibly killed off his mber? Why? The option was easy for him to choose. The easier target cos first.

Lewis nodded.

"We would then hunt at nine," Lewis hadn't known that at this mont he was making the worst mistake imaginable.

They had started as a group of six n and were down to five now. But still, the odds were in his favor if numbers were to be considered. Shouldn't be too hard right? But in hell, one has to also consider their enemies attributes as well.

Na: Klautz

Class -> Spirit Conjurer, Vassal Lord

Strength: 65 (62 3) Agility: 66 (63 3)

Stamina: 62 (59 3) Defence: 50 (27 10 3 10)

Intelligence: 14 (11 3)

Devil's Aura: 19

Equipnt: [Tossias' Demonic Spirit]

Armor: [Death Worm's breastplate], [Bracelet of Fortification]

While Lewis and his group were busy with their troubles Klautz on the other hand was wiping out the packs. He had slaughtered 7 packs by this ti.

"If my information is correct. There should be a total of 10 packs"

But Klautz wasn't sure how many packs were still alive out there. All he could do was clear out them as soon as he found them while not exhausting too much of his stamina.

Lewis's group and Steve had cleared out one pack each on their arrival at the central island. Since Klautz had cleared seven there was only one pack left. That is why he was having trouble finding the last pack.

"These packs are large so they should not be too difficult to find. Is there just one left or sothing?" Klautz frowned at his inability to find the next pack to hunt. Klautz didn't know that his small remark was exactly what had happened. The wave won't end unless all packs are cleared.

He climbed up a tree to get a better view. The tree had no leaves and had dried out as if facing a harsh and dry winter. But the climate was neither cold nor dry. It had a mild sumr-like feel to it. And yet the trees were in such a state.

That is why it is sotis very difficult to explain things in hell with common logic and Klautz had long stopped thinking about these sorts of things.

"There it is!" Klautz spotted another pack in the distance. Jumping off the tree he directed and beckoned his team as he stord off in that direction.

But, they didn't need to walk long. The pack of armadillos had identified enemies approaching them. And they had chosen to storm to Klautz and kill him as soon as possible. It was as if they had the animosity of a lifeti against Klautz!

"Screech!" They scread as if to show their displeasure.

What were they so infuriated about? At the mont, Klautz slled just like them… just like their blood.

They had a very strong sense of sll. Slling off the scent of the blood coming off from Klautz's clothes was enough giveaway to make Klautz their common enemy. Klautz had killed seven entire packs and by this point, he slled like their blood.

Unlike other monsters, these armadillos care for their kin and it was now ti for revenge!

The Tossias's spirit wriggled in Klautz hands as it turned into a sword's shape.

"Everyone take positions!" Klautz ordered.

While Klautz fought, Lewis and his group were in hiding. So hiding behind large boulders, so hiding behind trees.

'We would attack them at their lowest and the first one to die would be the man. He would be our first target.'

They lurked in the shadows waiting for Klautz to finish off the beasts first as that would exhaust him more. At the sa ti, they will observe them and try to discern their weaknesses.

But watching him battle against the giant armadillo's Lewis couldn't help but feel conflicted. His blade drew arcs in the air as it splashed blood. It was like his sword was his brush and blood was his paint which he used to create transient masterpieces in the air that could be srized only for a few seconds!

'As I have assud the won were not of much of a threat. But…'

Klautz wasn't like how he had assud.

*Slash*

With a single slash, he killed off two armadillos.

Klautz was like a death god that was looming on his head. From the nurous experiences that he had gone through he knew that going against him would cost him his life.

But there was no other option for him than to face him either by hook or by crook. Both of them were trapped on an island hungry for each other's blood. Eventually one of them has to die. If he backs off now he would be missing a really good opportunity to ambush Klautz.
