"—You uncouth mongrel!"
Accompanied by this signature insult from the King of Heroes, blades, spears, and swords, all gleaming with blazing golden light, appeared in the empty sky. Then, four treasures flew through the air simultaneously.
This was one of Gilgash's flaws: to him, everyone was a mongrel until they earned his recognition. Even Iskandar and Scáthach were no exception when he first t them; they were all called mongrels.
And to deal with these mongrels, Gilgash had two attitudes—those who humbled themselves and begged the king for forgiveness might be spared, while the defiant ones would be deed to have insulted his majesty and swiftly destroyed.
In simpler terms, if you bowed down and admitted defeat, he might decide your fate based on his mood. But if you dared to act arrogantly, you'd be obliterated—of course, only if you were worthy of that treatnt.
The figure walking through the forest, exuding the aura of a top-tier Servant, clearly had no intention of being obliterated. As the four treasures tore through the forest and approached, a brilliant light, like a rainbow, sliced through the night sky, deflecting all four weapons at once.
At that mont, everyone finally saw the true appearance of this new Servant.
The first impression was one of coolness.
In stark contrast to the two kings clad in heavy golden armor or thick cloaks, this new Servant had an opposite style. She wore nothing but a white dress, similar to a wedding gown but as short as a sumr dress.
Her long, white silk veil trailed down to her waist, complenting her tanned skin, and giving off a strong Asian vibe. But Asian won would never dress so scantily; large areas of skin, including her arms and legs, were left exposed.
The second impression was one of perfection.
Yes, perfection.
While everyone has their definition of beauty and perfection, making it theoretically impossible for a perfect person to exist, this female Servant gave off an undeniable sense of perfection. Unlike Scathach or Justeaze, whose beauty was honed over ti, hers was a natural, innate perfection—the ideal human form.
So were in awe, while others had their hearts stolen. Even the incomparable kings found it difficult to remain calm in her presence. It wasn't just her physical perfection but also the destructive and annihilative power hidden within her body. That, too, was sothing she was born with as if she were the embodint of destruction.
The Asian-looking female Servant held a sword woven from red, yellow, and blue primary colors. She pointed it at the golden Servant who had attacked her and, in a cold, almost chanical voice, spoke:
"The scent of ancient civilization... You are an enemy. Enemies must be destroyed!"
There was no doubt about it—this was a declaration of war, and it was directed at Gilgash, the most prideful king. A blatant act of disrespect.
Based on Gilgash's earlier attitude, Rin expected him to further unleash the Gate of Babylon and obliterate her. However, the opposite happened. Gilgash not only refrained from attacking but also revealed a mocking expression as if watching a clown.
"Hahaha! To think you identify enemies by scent. Your appearance has changed, but your savagery remains the sa, as does your stupidity. Even after witnessing my majesty, you still dare to point your sword at . If you're not a hopeless fool, what other explanation could there be? Tell , you counterfeit mongrel!"
"..."
The female Servant remained silent, her sword unwavering as it pointed at Gilgash. He continued his signature taunts.
"Don't waste ti. I've permitted you to speak. My mood is excellent right now, so depending on your response, I might even reward you with more treasures. After all, I hadn't expected to see you here."
"What? You know her?"
Iskandar's previously tense expression relaxed.
"If she's an acquaintance, why not sit down and have a drink together?"
"No. I do know soone who resembles her greatly, but this counterfeit mongrel is certainly not that person."
For the second ti, Gilgash labeled her a counterfeit, and the female Servant shook her head in denial.
"I am a warrior, the embodint of destruction. Whatever stands before , I will destroy! I have no idea what you're talking about."
Hearing this, Gilgash laughed even harder.
"You dare speak without even knowing what you are? Listen carefully—you were rely recorded in human history by chance, and that allowed you to ascend to the Throne of Heroes as a so-called 'hero.' If you're not a counterfeit mongrel, then who is?"
"What does that an?"
Iskandar asked curiously.
"That's sothing you should ask her if she can recall it and appear before in her true form."
"Co on, don't keep us in suspense."
Gilgash, unwilling to say more, gave Iskandar a cold glance when he shifted his attention to the treasure in his hand.
"Don't even think about it. First of all, that's my treasure, not for you to use as you please. Second, even if you use it on her, she won't rember anything. The current her is nothing more than a fragnt."
"I see..."
Iskandar's eyes darted around, lost in thought.
"Let's go, Rin."
Gilgash leaped onto his golden vessel and called to his Master.
"Are you running away, Archer?"
The tanned female Servant still held her sword pointed at him.
Completely ignoring the sword behind him, Gilgash didn't even turn his head as he replied:
"Count yourself lucky. I have no interest in your current form. If you truly want to challenge , reclaim your original form first. Perhaps then you'll pose a slight threat to . But as a re counterfeit mongrel, you're not even worth breaking a tooth on!"
"Wait... the banquet—"
Iskandar, still focused on the feast, called out.
"When the ti is right, I'll send you an invitation."
With that, Gilgash snapped his fingers, and the treasure in Iskandar's hand dissolved into spirit particles, vanishing into the wind.
"Oh, and you seem to enjoy ntoring others. Why not guide this counterfeit mongrel as well? If you can help her unlock her true power, your odds of challenging might improve."
"That sounds like a good idea," Iskandar thought for a mont before replying.
"Thanks for the suggestion, King of Heroes."
"No need to thank . I'm rely hoping you bring greater surprises. Until we et again—don't die before then, Conqueror King!"
With those words, the golden king ascended into the sky aboard his golden vessel, Vimana, leaving those on the ground staring at each other in bewildernt.
Too much had happened that night—so much that it was hard to process.
