"Wait, what did you just say?"
Sakura's words sent a jolt through Shinji.
"I said, use that spear to summon Shishou. Is that not possible?"
"Possible? Of course, it's possible! Noble Phantasms are the crystallization of one's life, the embodint of their beliefs. They naturally represent a connection. There's nothing that ties back to Shishou more deeply than this! Hahaha, Sakura, you're a genius!"
Shinji excitedly grabbed his sister's shoulders and burst into laughter. He had been searching for Scathach's relic for so ti and had been pondering ways to summon her. Now, with Sakura's simple suggestion, he felt enlightened. How could he not be happy?
"But, that's still a Noble Phantasm. It's bound to the Servant. How do we borrow it from him...? Should we just ask him directly? No, that's not appropriate. He might not agree, and I don't want to bow down to him. Then, we'll steal it... but how?"
Shinji clenched his chin, his mind racing. From his childhood to his past life, countless stories and examples began to flash in his mind one after another.
Suddenly, a spark of inspiration lit up in his consciousness. A vivid image slowly appeared—a Lancer in a blue bodysuit piercing the heart of a red-haired boy with his spear.
"I've got it! There's still this option."
Shinji's eyes sharpened, no less sharp than Cu Chulainn's spear itself.
"Rider, do you mind filling in as a Lancer for a bit?"
dusa, dressed in her light purple loungewear, tilted her head in confusion, giving off a strangely adorable vibe. Shinji's earlier conversation with Sakura had been disjointed, and since all his strategic thoughts were in his head, dusa had no idea what Shinji—who she had a deep connection with—was thinking.
"Take this."
Without further explanation, Shinji materialized the Harpe and handed it to dusa.
"Do you know how to use it?"
dusa gripped the sickle blade with both hands, tried out a few stances, and then nodded.
"Great."
Shinji clenched his fist in satisfaction.
Kinoko Nasu didn't lie to . dusa does have Lancer aptitude.
In the Type-Moon works, dusa has appeared in four different classes: Rider, Lancer, Avenger, and even in two different Lancer forms—the Lily version Ana and the adult version in FGO Prologue. Although these forms appeared under special circumstances, their weapon was always the Harpe, which is why Shinji asked her this question.
"From now on, it's yours."
"Mine?"
dusa stared at the weapon that had once killed her, looking dazed.
"Wait, hold on!"
dea pointed at the Hape.
"Isn't that a Noble Phantasm?"
"Yes, it is a Noble Phantasm."
Shinji nodded casually.
"How do you own a Noble Phantasm? Are you... are you not human?"
"I'm human, through and through. I just happen to be a bit special. As for why I have a Noble Phantasm, as I said earlier, modern magi are good at manipulating unexpected thods."
"Truly unexpected... You always manage to shock ."
Shock, not surprise. In such a short ti, dea's understanding of the world had been upended multiple tis.
"But this is a Servant's ultimate trump card! And you're just... giving it away?"
"Because it's a Noble Phantasm related to dusa. Soone you know has also used it."
"Soone I know? Could it be... Heracles?"
Each Servant has an extensive knowledge of historical and mythological figures granted by the Holy Grail. After analyzing the sickle's shape and combining it with Shinji's hints, dea quickly arrived at the answer.
"Exactly."
"I see. So it's that anti-serpent Noble Phantasm. But, little brother, this is the bane of that woman! How can you just give it away? Who knows if she's only pretending to be so obedient right now."
"I'm not like you—I don't betray people."
dusa wasn't about to let dea's provocation go unanswered and coldly retorted.
"What did you just say, you monster?"
dea was instantly furious.
"You two—"
Sakura quickly stepped in between them, asserting her authority as their Master.
"You've both broken the rules. No dinner, and you're doing the housework for a day."
dea pouted resentfully and muttered, "She started it!"
"It was you provoking first," dusa countered, equally unwilling to back down.
"Wow, this sounds like a children's argunt," Kirie teased from the side.
"Yeah, aren't they supposed to be famous historical figures?"
Kirie chid in, agreeing.
dusa and dea both froze, their bodies trembling slightly. The forr awkwardly lowered her head, while the latter pulled her hood back over her face.
"Alright, alright, let's stop here. I've got serious business to take care of, and I need everyone's cooperation."
Shinji stepped in to diate. "Rider, the Harpe isn't just a gift. I need you to use it as bait."
"Bait?"
dusa instinctively ran her fingers along the wooden handle of the sickle.
"Is the target the new Servant or their Master?"
"The Servant. Only the Servant. Your job is just to lure him out. You don't need to do anything else. We don't have all the participants yet, so it's not ti for a life-or-death battle. dea will handle surveillance and provide backup for you. Here's the plan—"
...
It was 9 p.m.
Bazett and Cu Chulainn had just finished a hearty al at a restaurant on the Shinto shopping street.
This Irish pair had hearts as big as the sky. After forming their contract, they fought, and after fighting, they went to find food. They didn't seem to care about being in a war.
Of course, that was only their outward attitude. In reality, both of them remained highly vigilant. As seasoned warriors, their sense of danger had long been ingrained into their instincts.
As soon as dusa let slip the faintest trace of her Servant's presence, the pair imdiately tensed. Since they were in a crowded area, they didn't attack right away and instead quietly followed her.
Though no words were exchanged, their eyes were burning with fighting spirit. It was clear they planned to eliminate this enemy at the first opportunity. Once they reached a less populated area, they would no doubt strike.
And that's exactly what happened. As soon as dusa stepped into a nearby construction site, Cu Chulainn couldn't hold back any longer. He brandished his spear and rushed at her.
dusa didn't engage in battle. She accelerated in an instant, leaping onto a nearby rooftop and fleeing into the distance.
Cu Chulainn clicked his tongue in frustration. His legs bent as if to jump, but instead, he turned his head to look at his Master.
"What now? Should we chase?"
"Chase!"
Bazett replied without hesitation.
"Aren't you worried it could be a trap?"
Cu Chulainn asked.
"I'm not worried. I can protect myself, and I trust your strength."
Bazett's face, full of confidence, reflected her complete trust in her partner.
Cu Chulainn laughed heartily.
"That's more like it! As expected from my Master! Beautiful, stubborn, fearless, and strong—you're growing on ! I'll go on ahead. Don't keep waiting too long, Master!"
"You won't be waiting for long."
The pair exchanged a glance and then vanished into the night.
