Candy gulped under the weight of his gaze—those silver eyes were dangerously captivating. Slowly, he uncrossed his legs and rose to his feet, striding toward her without once breaking eye contact.
In one swift motion, he grabbed her from the doorway and pressed her back against the wall. A soft gasp slipped from her lips as her back t the cold surface. Raymond planted both hands on the wall beside her, caging her in effortlessly. He leaned down until his face was level with hers, his eyes boring into hers as her heart pounded wildly in her chest.
"Why do you enjoy disobeying , little mosquito?" he asked, his voice low—cold, yet not entirely void of warmth. "I told you not to leave this room. Why didn’t you listen?"
"I... I..." Candy stamred, her voice barely steady. "I went to take my bath and eat—"
Raymond slamd his palm against the wall beside her, making her flinch as chills ran through her.
"Is there no bathroom here?" he snapped. "Listen carefully. You’re under my protection—and my command. When I give an order, you follow it. No excuses. No wandering. No hesitation." His tone was firm, authoritative, sending her blinking in stunned silence.
Was this a threat? Why did his words sound possessive—yet strangely, she wasn’t angry. That realization alone unsettled her.
"We’ve kissed before, haven’t we?" he asked suddenly.
Candy’s eyes widened. She swallowed hard and lowered her gaze, unable to withstand the heat burning in his eyes.
"Since you’re standing right here," he murmured, leaning closer, his eyes dropping to her lips, "I’ve been thinking about those glossy lips of yours. They remind of candy... sweet and tempting."
Nervously, Candy licked her lips and looked up at him—and in that instant, Raymond’s lips claid hers.
Her eyes flew open. This was only her second kiss.
His lips moved gently against hers, slow and deliberate. Just as she began to close her eyes and lt into the sensation, he pulled back.
"Kiss back," he murmured, his voice husky and calm, like a quiet ocean.
Candy bit her lower lip. "I... I don’t know how to kiss," she admitted shyly.
Raymond tilted his head, then chuckled softly, warmth flickering through his eyes. "You’re serious? Soone like you doesn’t know how?"
She shook her head, but before she could say more, his lips were on hers again—silencing every thought. One hand slid to her waist, pulling her closer with surprising gentleness.
The touch sent a wave of sensation through her body. Candy slowly closed her eyes, surrendering to the mont, to the heat, to him.
Raymond lifted his hand to her cheek, cradling her face as his lips deepened the kiss, unhurried and consuming. She tasted sweet—like strawberries—and the thought alone made him linger.
He kissed her slowly, thoroughly, drawing her into a world where nothing else existed but the two of them.
