Chapter 584 - CAPPADOCIA I
Cayenne's birthday continued until 9:00 in the evening and since they needed to leave early the next day, they decided to let Marian stay in one of the guest rooms while Veronica was sent back to City D with the guards. She needed to pack up so of their things and get their passports as well for tomorrow's trip.
'I've seen the other guests coming out. Why isn't she leaving?'
Cayenne heard the ssage notification of Stefan's phone and she looked at it only to find John's ssage. Cayenne didn't know when her husband exchanged phone number with the man and she wasn't interested in it. She just wanted to help her friend get the closure that she needed. She didn't want her to leave this world with regret.
"Hon, you should reply to his ssage." Cayenne said as she picked the phone and gave it to Stefan. "He's waiting outside. He's probably checking on Marian to see her safe and sound.
"I still have so things to do. Can you reply his ssage for ?"
"Uh. Sure." Cayenne retracted her hand and opened the ssage to reply it, telling John that Marian won't be coming ho tonight because of their trip tomorrow.
'Okay. I understand. Thank you for letting know.'
She thought it was the end of the ssage and returned the phone to Stefan. However, when Stefan received it, another notification popped up and it was from John still.
Stefan typed his reply quickly before putting the phone on his desk. "I'm almost done here. Why don't you and take a shower first so we can sleep soon?"
"Alright." Cayenne left the study room and went to check on Marian in the guest room. She was still not sleeping yet, still waiting for Veronica to co back. "How about you get so sleep while waiting? I'm sure that she'll be back soon since it's not traffic at this ti of the night. Also, it's detrintal to your health if you stay awake late at night."
Marian looked at Cayenne and smiled faintly before looking down on her hand which was holding her wig. "How did your husband make my parents agree to this trip?"
"I don't know." Cayenne answered as she stepped inside the room. "Stefan has his own way of doing things and for so reason, things always go his way except for my safety and such. I always involve myself in troubleso things."
Marian didn't say anything and clenched her hand tightly. "Yen, help do the things I want to do, will you? Since I have a little bit of ti left, I want to do a lot of fun things with you."
"Sure. I don't really mind. Sem-break will start soon and we can use that vacation ti to do whatever you wanted to do. I promise you." Cayenne reached out her hand and gently squeezed her best friend's hand. "Get so good sleep now. You look a little pale already."
"Hn. I'll do that."
At four in the morning the next day, Cayenne was already wide awake along with her husband. Stefan had prepared everything already so they really didn't need to do anything else aside from dressing up and checking their important belongings. In the guest room, Marian was already awake and was combing her wig to make sure that they'd look a little natural on her. Veronica arrived in the middle of the night last night but she was so excited for the trip that she didn't get to sleep. Nonetheless, she didn't feel tired and was even more enthusiastic than ever.
Lucia woke up early as well with her daughters to prepare a healthy al for everyone. It's better to eat early breakfast at ho than eating expensive food at the airport later on.
Since they're going to turkey, Stefan decided to bring a couple of bodyguards as well, those with passport and visa. He wasn't really that worried since Turkey is pretty safe to travel. There's no need to put their guard up all the ti there.
Luiz and Kyle were also wide awake, waiting for them in the living room. They wanted to send them off at the airport.
anwhile, John was also packing his things when he received the ssage from Stefan that they're already on the way to the airport. Last night, when he asked about the trip, Stefan told him that they'd be going to Cappadocia, Turkey. He also included the ti of their flight and the hotel. Without waiting for more explanation, John went ho, booked the sa flight as them and booked the sa hotel. He didn't have much ti to be with Marian and as much as he could, he wanted to be there for her.
At nine in the morning, he was already at the boarding gate, waiting for the flight. Cayenne and her group also arrived not long after and they even sat very close to each other. If he wasn't reading a newspaper to cover his face, Marian would be able to spot him from the crowd.
The travel to Cappadocia takes 18 hours of ti so, they were still able to catch so sleep on the plane. When they arrived to their hotel it was already 10:00 AM the next day. Cayenne was a little tired from the travel plus, she felt dizzy from the jet lag. However, when she saw the view outside their hotel room, every negative feeling she has left her body in an instant. It was so breathtakingly beautiful that she couldn't keep her eyes away from it.
Earlier, she was too tired to pay attention to her surrounding but now, she just wanted to go out and observe the place for a long ti.
"Let's grab and early lunch and take a rest for a while. We have a long ti to explore this place and enjoy it." Stefan told her and dragged her away from the window. Cayenne wanted to complain from being disturbed but she also realized that what her husband said was actually right.
Marian was the sa as Cayenne. She held her phone in hand and took pictures several tis, just couldn't get enough of one photo to commorate her stay in this place. When she heard the knocks on the door, she could only sigh and put down her phone to open it.
"Let's get an early lunch, rest and enjoy the place later." Cayenne said without pausing at all. "You can unpack later. Let's savor the mont."
The place that Stefan booked was called Cappadocia Cave Resort and Spa. It's a luxury hotel built right into the mountain. It offers a panoramic view of the Cappadocia landscape. Their exclusive spa area offers all kinds of treatnts, from steam baths to an experience shower with sound and light effects to that amazing four-handed massage-in sum, everything spa fans could want. The massage for couples with your choice of music is both romantic and a highlight of any honeymoon. Beautiful is just an understatent to describe the place but as Cayenne walked around, she couldn't think of any other word.
"I feel so out of place." Cayenne comnted when they took a seat around one of the vacant tables in the restaurant. "You should have inford that we're going to this kind of place. I could have prepared my mind and heart."
"If I told you, you won't be able to get so sleep." Stefan answered. "Just keep it out of your mind for now. You'll get your chance to enjoy this place later."
"Hn."
Not long after, John arrived and sat three tables away from them. He was sitting with his back facing them. Even if he couldn't face her, it was enough to hear her voice for now.
Stefan glanced at the man and didn't say anything. Cayenne didn't have to look, just from her peripheral alone and she could tell how lonely the man was.
'Am I doing the right, thing?' Cayenne questioned herself ntally.
