Chapter 304 - SECRETS
Since Kirin knew where her son was staying, she took this opportunity to observe the place and waited for him to co back. However, two days had passed and she never saw her son go ho to that apartnt.
"Are you sure that this is where he stayed?" Kirin asked the private investigator over the phone.
"Yes, ma'am. I've seen your son co out and co in of this apartnt room. I didn't see anyone else use that room aside from him."
"Alright. I'll just wait here. Thanks for confirming."
She ended the call and continued to observe the apartnt building from her van. She had been staying in her van in the past few days, only leaving the place for bathroom break. Aside from that, she did everything inside the van; like eating and sleeping.
On the other hand, Cayenne and Stefan didn't lower their guard at all and Arthur kept observing them from the neighboring property owned by the old man. He was waiting for the opportunity wherein Cayenne chose to stay in her house while Stefan go sowhere. Sadly, Cayenne and Stefan would always go sowhere together or they won't go out at all.
For example, right at this point, Cayenne and Stefan decided to stay at ho and do their work at ho instead of the office. So, Arthur was also watching them through his telescope, gritting his white teeth every ti he sees Cayenne kissing her husband or Stefan kissing his wife.
His heart will be shrouded with jealousy and her grip on the telescope has tightened. Still, he couldn't do anything but watch them with envious gaze.
"Wifey, do you want to go sowhere this weekend?" Stefan asked her while reading the docunts in his hand. Cayenne's head was lying on his lap while she was playing with her mobile phone. His other hand was combing her hair slowly, massaging her head sotis in the process.
Cayenne paused her ga and looked at him with serious face. She wanted to go sowhere with her brothers but she wanted to go with Jonas as well. However, she can only pick one of them.
"I want to visit mom's grave. Last ti, we visited your mom. Can we go and visit my mom this weekend? I'd like to bring Jonas along."
"Sure. Aside from that, is there anywhere else you'd like to go?"
"Hn, let's visit Jillyann and her family if they're around. I'll go and ask them." She was just about to stand up when Stefan snaked his arm around her waist to stop her from leaving his side. "How about you? Is there anywhere you'd like to visit?"
"Hn. I'd like to have a road trip with you. We can visit so famous beaches, beautiful gardens, old and amazing churches. I just want to relax with you." In truth, he was looking for suitable places where he can give her the best wedding. He wanted to get her opinion on this matter without being too obvious. If he wanted to give her a grandiose wedding, it should be held in the place that she likes.
Cayenne nodded her head without suspecting him. "Sure. Let's go and do that. Let's do it on Sunday."
"Okay."
Stefan already asked Travis and Jillyanna for so places that Cayenne might like and those where the venues that they'd be checking out on Sunday.
Seiji had been waiting for the news of their wedding but Stefan and Cayenne seed to have no plans with regards to this event. He knew that they're already married but they were united in haste. He wanted to see how much Stefan loves Cayenne through the wedding preparation.
'Wait! Hold it.' He told himself ntally. 'Having a grandiose wedding doesn't guarantee a lifeti of happiness. So of the couples would still divorce no matter how much they spent for their wedding.'
He was waiting for the day to co when he could give the shares to Cayenne and make her the business partner of her husband. He wasn't doing this because he gave up his love already but, he's doing this because he wanted Cayenne to be on equal footing with Stefan. In that way, no one will bully her in the future. And even if life gets harder, she'll have a way to survive this cruel world.
Since he couldn't have her, he can only choose to support her now or else, he'd completely lose her if he forced himself to her. He's not like Arthur, unreasonable and stupid. Seiji was calm and collected and knew when to step forward and step back.
'Knock! Knock! Knock!'
Seiji's secretary ca and handed him so docunts. "Are these the news related to Arthur?"
"Yes, sir." The secretary took a step back and gave Seiji ti to read the docunts.
"Do you have anyway to get inside his apartnt?"
"Yes, sir. I can certainly do that but we need to be more careful because his mother has been guarding the apartnt building to see her son."
"Then, make so distraction for her and get into his apartnt. I want you to see everything inside and report it to the authority if needed."
"Yes, sir. I'm on it." The secretary left while Seiji continued to read the docunts in front of him. He wouldn't believe that Arthur would harm Cayenne unless there's evidence. He would rather believe that Arthur was setting a trap for Stefan not for Cayenne.
Cayenne and Stefan had no idea that so forces were helping them with their safety. They were prepared and that was good but sotis, no matter how prepared you are, accidents still happen.
Their days continued to pass by normally and Arthur's days continued to pass by in anger and displeasure. He almost coughed up blood in anger when he saw one ti that Stefan and Cayenne were flirting each other in their living room. It wasn't just their normal flirting where they teased each other but they were kissing passionately under his gaze.
Another weekend ca and; Cayenne and Stefan drove out of their house to visit Jonas and go to the cetery where Erald was buried.
This ti, Luiz and Kyle didn't co ho from the university because they'll be visiting Kath's ho.
Erwin was left behind to guard the house again and take care of the plants. Even so, during his break, he will open his computer and play the online ga which he was addicted to.
He logged in to his account and found that Little Red was already online. The ga character was a boy but the na ca from Little Red Riding Hood. But since it's a very long na, he decided to just call this character Little Red. They've been playing this ga together for almost two months and he learned so things about this character. However, he still couldn't tell if behind this impressive character was a boy or a girl.
"Hi. You've been inactive for quite sotis now." Erwin sent the other party a ssage and he received a reply almost instantly.
"I left the country to visit so old friends. I didn't get the chance to log in until today. How have you been?"
"I'm doing well."
Their conversation halted for several minutes, not knowing what they should say. Before, they never ran out of topics but this ti, it felt rather different.
Erwin placed his fingers on his keyboard and told her sothing. "Do you want to play the ga together? I still have two hours of free ti before doing my next chores."
"Sure."
Sabrina moved her character and the two of them ford a party to slay so in-ga monsters and demons. While playing the ga, she kept glancing on the Little Red Riding Hood stuff toy on her desk. She rembered her encounter with Erwin on the souvenir shop and she couldn't help but smile. Sadly, she didn't know his na and she wasn't sure if they'll et again in the future.
And for so reason, there's this inexplicable feeling deep within her that the person she's playing with in the ga was the sa person she saw at the amusent park.
Wanting to confirm her wild guesses, Sabrina didn't pick up her loots from slaying demons and instead, she sent a ssage to her playmate.
"I'm not sure if I have asked you this question but, where are you living?"
"I'm stayed in City D for a long ti but I'm currently in City B now." Erwin replied without doubting his playmate; thinking it was just an innocent question.
"Really? I'm actually in City A. I arrived last week but I'm going back to Italy next week."
"Italy?" Erwin asked in bewildernt. He didn't know that she ca from Italy.
"Yup. I was born and raised here in City A but we moved to Italy when I was in middle school. My parents are still there so, I'll have to go ho."
Erwin nodded his head as if she could see her. Sabrina was waiting for his reply but after so ti, he stopped chatting. "Did he guess my identity?" Sabrina questioned with worry.
"Do you want to et up?" This reply from Erwin made her smile but at the sa ti, she needed to refuse. It's not the right ti for them to know each other yet.
