Finally, everyone noticed that the little boy had already awakened at some point, staring curiously at everything with his big, dark eyes. He was so accustomed to the environment, he watched everyone without blinking.
"The little boy looks like quite a gentleman." Sheng Ning held him in her arms. Watching her elder uncle wanting to hold the child but feeling uneasy about not knowing how to, she couldn’t help but smile.
"Uncle, let me teach you." She explained a few key points and then confidently transferred the child to Su Jiang’s hands, "Yes, just like that, don’t worry, the child is not that small anymore."
Su Jiang learned quickly, moving from being unsure to adept in just a few minutes.
Others watched eagerly, each wanting to learn. Su Huai’an had already memorized everything silently while Sheng Ning explained earlier, and now he took the little sister from An’an, surprisingly holding her in a decent manner.
"Professor Su, it’s good you’re getting familiar now; it’ll e in handy after you get married." An’an teased.
Su Huai’an’s handsome face reddened slightly. He had e to pick up Ningning today without bringing Yingzi, so that little girl was definitely going to be upset with him.
Sheng Ning handed both kids over to the group of men and rolled up her sleeves, leading An’an to the kitchen to cook personally, which startled Su Jiang’s new auntie and his assistant.
It had been a long time since she cooked, and today she was going to show off a bit, preparing more. Luckily, Su Huai’an was considerate. Knowing there would be many people today, he had the auntie buy a lot of food in advance.
Sheng Ning took charge of the cooking, An’an helped wash the vegetables, while the auntie did the chopping; the three of them cooperated well.
"An’an, do you have time to go back home with me?" Sheng Ning asked as she worked.
"I do! I knew you wanted to go back, so I’ve already taken leave from the professor."
"Did your professor agree?"
"Yes, very much so." In truth, the professor was almost driven mad, but he couldn’t refuse An’an, so he had to approve.
"Alright, after I finish handling things here, we’ll go back together. I’ve been away from home for so long, I really feel guilty. I’ll plan to stay for about six months before ing back."
"Will you still stay with the General Union Dance Troupe?"
Sheng Ning thought for a moment, "I might not have much time for the General Union Dance Troupe. I need to take care of the two kids and be busy with things there. You know how it is."
Her identity as the Pang Family Patriarch was kept under wraps, so Sheng Ning couldn’t elaborate. An’an instantly understood the gesture.
The next day, Sheng Ning brought the two babies and, together with Su Jiang and Su Huai’an, went up the mountain to pay respects at Mr. Su’s grave. They carried Moutai, flowers, and today Sheng Ning was wearing her work uniform with a hat, looking spirited and lively.
On their way back from the mountain, they hadn’t reached the courtyard gate yet when they heard a motion ing from inside. The three of them frowned involuntarily.
This place was, after all, the strictly guarded General Union Courtyard, and since Sheng Ning was kidnapped, security had been stepped up even more.
"Who is making such a motion?" Su Jiang roared, and the noisy crowd fell silent immediately.
"Hello, President."
"Good day, President."
Su Jiang waved his hand, "Alright, explain the situation to me clearly."
"It’s this person. He didn’t have any documents and was wandering around without an introduction letter," the guard unhappily pointed at a man with glasses standing in front of them.
"President Su, it’s a misunderstanding, a plete misunderstanding. I’m from the Ministry of merce. I left the introduction letter at my workplace, and someone is already retrieving it."
