Chapter 774: Chapter 774 Grandma Yun and the others arrive at Capital City
“Auntie, you have classes to teach, and Xiaoxiao has school, so we still need soone to go over there.”
Yun Xiaoxiao extended her hand, “That, the flight ticket I bought, but Uncles, Aunts, Grand Aunts, don’t worry, once Grandma reaches Capital City, we will definitely take good care of her.
Given Grandma’s condition, once she reaches the hospital, she will certainly have to be admitted imdiately. There are caregivers in the hospital, and there’s also Grand Uncle. If it’s not too far and I don’t have classes, I can go to the hospital to take care of her.”
Flight ticket?
Another flight ticket had been bought.
Aunt Yun glanced at Yun Xiaoxiao, “Xiaoxiao, you take care of things first. Eldest Aunt will go to Capital City to join you in a few days.”
Although her husband had semi-retired, he hadn’t completely retired, but she had. If the in-laws were hospitalized, it would be unreasonable for her not to take care of them, especially since they were so kind and her grandchildren were all in school and didn’t require her constant attention.
Uncle Yun agreed, “Auntie, Xiaoxiao, let your Eldest Aunt go over to help.”
And so, it was settled.
After breakfast, they took a taxi to the airport, with Uncle Yun coming along to send them off.
Only after seeing them board the plane did he go to work.
Once they landed, Grandma Yun’s condition wasn’t very good, so they headed straight to the hospital to arrange her admission and other procedures.
They went directly to the hospital without stopping at ho.
After receiving an IV and oxygen, Grandma Yun started to show so improvent.
Yun Xiaoxiao was extrely busy.
She asked the head nurse which caregiver was the most patient, not minding even if they charged a higher price.
The head nurse, who had seen the hospital director take care of these matters and even heard the director calling the patient “big sister,” recognized the family connection.
She imdiately recomnded a caregiver with a good reputation in the hospital, famous for her patience and strength—Aunt Liu.
“Aunt Liu, do you do weekly settlents, or monthly? My Grandma will have to stay in the hospital for quite a long ti given her condition.”
Aunt Liu usually settled paynts daily.
“Once a week.”
“Okay.”
Yun Xiaoxiao took Aunt Liu to buy so things, daily necessities such as cups, towels, thermos flasks, basins, slippers, socks, and the like.
She was so busy she barely had a mont to herself.
“Xiaoxiao, it’s getting late. You should go back,” said Professor Ning, well aware that Xiaoxiao still had two children at ho and her husband must have been helping with them these past days.
“Grand Aunt, this is Aunt Liu. She’s the best caregiver in the hospital. And these are so things I’ve bought for Grandma.”
Grandpa Yun was also getting on in years; his wife began feeling unwell as soon as they got off the plane, and they had rushed to the hospital. His granddaughter had been bustling about, purchasing supplies and even hiring a caregiver.
“Xiaoxiao, you should head back early. I’ll be here to take care of your Grandma, along with the caregiver you’ve hired.”
All the necessary purchases had been made.
“Grandma, Grandpa, I’ll head back first.”
Grandma lay in her hospital bed and nodded gently, “Okay.”
Her granddaughter must have spent quite a sum this ti.
Yun Xiaoxiao left the hospital, hailed a taxi, reported her destination, and went back to the Courtyard House.
“Mom, Mom…”
Da Bao and Xiao Bao had both returned ho, indicating how long she had been at the hospital.
“What happened?” Zhao Tianlei ca up to et her, seeing his wife looking sowhat flustered and wondering what had occurred.
Yun Xiaoxiao shook her head, “Grandma and Grandpa have co to Capital City. Now they’re in the hospital. They were fine getting on the plane, but after getting off…”
