"Alliance Hierarch."

They respectfully greeted him and then retreated.

Placed in the center of the office, the man on the stretcher was wrapped with bandages from head to toe. It wasn’t clear whether the brothers had been overly rough, or if the wounds were too deep, but the bleeding hadn’t stopped; crimson spots stained the otherwise pure white bandages.

The First Elder couldn’t help but twitch his aged face upon seeing Ethan Chandler, wrapped entirely in bandages.

Raina North sneered and said, "So it seems that the person plotting this assassination attempt on the Alliance Hierarch is indeed the First Elder’s illegitimate son?"

"Not at all." The First Elder denied without hesitation: "I’m rely too shocked to believe soone would dare be so audacious as to attempt to assassinate the Alliance Hierarch; I don’t know him."

Raina’s eyebrows arched slightly: "It appears the First Elder doesn’t even acknowledge his own son anymore."

This old fool truly was ruthless; he denied even his only son to shirk responsibility.

"I’ve already said he’s not my son. If the Alliance Hierarch rely wishes to slander , there are plenty of ways to do so without assigning a son." The First Elder continued, "Alright, the matter has been explained clear enough, Alliance Hierarch should promptly send him to the hospital for treatnt, otherwise, if he truly dies here, it wouldn’t be good if his parents co to The Celestial Alliance to make a scene. More importantly, dying in such a way is ominous."

"Perhaps the First Elder hasn’t understood; I said this person not only spoke insolently to yesterday but also wielded a gun intending to shoot ."

"Haha, surely this was a misunderstanding. Who in The Umbral Zone doesn’t know of the Alliance Hierarch’s renown? How could anyone be foolish enough to offend? I propose the Alliance Hierarch hand over this fool to , and once he recovers, I will have him apologize in person. What does the Alliance Hierarch think?" The First Elder spoke with a constant smile on his face, but his eyes conveyed a warning, laden with other implications.

Raina nodded: "I think..." Seeing the First Elder smile smugly, Raina’s expression imdiately turned cold: "Not a chance!" She stared icily at the First Elder: "Why don’t you tell , what happens to those who dare to attempt assassination on the Alliance Hierarch."

"It appears the Alliance Hierarch is not inclined towards rcy."

"The First Elder is truly senile, can’t even rember the alliance rules." Raina looked towards Lune: "Lune, tell the First Elder."

Lune stepped forward, speaking powerfully and firmly: "Death to those who disrespect the Alliance Hierarch! Family extermination for attempting assassination of the Alliance Hierarch!"

Raina nodded satisfactorily: "First Elder, do you understand?"

The First Elder’s eyes glinted coldly, revealing a murderous intent as he spoke word by word: "Indeed, it seems one must die."

Raina, as if she hadn’t heard the underlying threat in the First Elder’s words, smiled and said, "I’m glad to reach a consensus with the First Elder. It’s regrettable to lose life so young. What a pity, what a pity. If he were the First Elder’s son, considering how the First Elder has toiled for The Celestial Alliance all these years, leniency wouldn’t be impossible."

The First Elder’s face was extrely gloomy; he couldn’t believe that everyone knew Ethan Chandler was his son, except Orion Rivers.

Now, forced into admitting it, it is not for leniency but to pin the cri of plotting to assassinate the Alliance Hierarch on his head.

Once this charge is solidified, should Orion Rivers decide to act against him later, he would have the perfect excuse, and the multitude of mbers within The Celestial Alliance would side with Orion Rivers alone, without thinking he was cruelly disposing of the ritorious ones.
