Shea: "..."

Raina looked at the noisy little kids, quite headache-inducing: "Go, go, go, all of you go play sowhere else."

The three little ones saw Raina’s displeased face and dared not say more, quickly rolling away into the bedroom.

Raina looked at Elias Hawthorne, coldly asking: "President Hawthorne, what brings you here?"

"To see my wife."

Raina frowned: "President Hawthorne, if I rember correctly, we’ve already signed the divorce papers, haven’t we?"

"You rember correctly."

"Then you..."

Elias replied seriously: "It’s precisely because my wife suddenly brought up divorce that I needed to personally co and figure out why out of the blue my wife wants to leave and the kids behind, planning to run away."

Raina was speechless: "When did I plan on running away?"

Elias looked at her, calmly asking: "Do you dare swear and promise you really didn’t intend to run away?"

"I..." Raina was left speechless.

"Seems I guessed right." Elias accused: "Raina, indeed you’re planning to be heartless."

Raina furrowed her brow: "Elias, that’s just not reasonable. I thought divorce was a mutual understanding between us."

Elias’s expression turned slightly cold, sowhat displeased: "That’s what you thought, not what I thought. Raina, you shouldn’t use your assumptions to guess mine. Raina, that’s not a good habit."

Raina laughed coldly: "Is this my assumption? If I rember correctly, the elders of The Hawthorne Family are pressuring you to divorce ."

"Yes." Elias said: "In fact, they’ve indeed been using a lot of ans."

Raina’s lips curled, a hint of sarcasm forming, just as she was about to speak, she heard Elias continue: "Since they have so much free ti to worry about my private affairs, then I can surely return the favor and concern myself with theirs."

Although Elias’s tone was calm, it was obvious he had done much more than just concern himself with their private affairs.

Even if Raina hadn’t seen it herself, she could imagine the elders of The Hawthorne Family feeling utterly perplexed.

"You..." Raina was a bit stunned, not expecting Elias to do such a thing.

She looked up, her gaze colliding with Elias’s eyes.

His eyes were deep and profound, hiding an ocean-like affection.

Raina felt scorched, with an urgent desire to escape. This depth of feeling was a heavy net of entanglent for her, suffocating.

She took a deep breath: "Elias, what exactly are your intentions?"

"My intentions are simple." Elias said casually: "Withdraw the divorce application, be my wife."

"Impossible." Raina refused without hesitation.

Elias wasn’t disappointed either: "Raina, you should understand this isn’t just your own privilege."

Raina paused for a mont before understanding what Elias ant, and she grew agitated: "Elias, does doing this an anything to you?"

"As long as it keeps you here, I find it very aningful." Elias took a step forward, approaching Raina: "Raina, you can’t escape."

Raina was silent for a mont, then suddenly lifted her head, looking at Elias with a sneer: "I won’t escape, why would I escape? Elias, you say you want to withdraw the divorce application. Are you really sure?"

"I..."

Raina interrupted Elias: "Are you sure you don’t care about my past, don’t care about my children?"

"I don’t care. I also really like Casper and Shea. Now there’s just one more child, but I, Elias Hawthorne, can still support them."
