Upon hearing Lune’s account, Raina North’s face instantly darkened. In that mont, she couldn’t control the violence within her, crushing the teacup in her hand to pieces.

The shattered porcelain pierced her palm, and crimson blood gushed out imdiately.

"Sister Raina!" Lune called out in a low voice, unable to hold back.

"I’m fine." Raina casually shook her hand, her eyes filled with uncontrollable rage.

She had originally thought she had seen enough of Susan Kensington’s shalessness but had underestimated her filthy tactics.

No wonder Jasper Hawthorne hadn’t inquired about her three children when they last t and left in such a hurry.

Upon hearing Lune’s words, the Third Elder frowned: "What origins does this woman have? Her thods are so disgusting. It’s even more contemptible than the notorious Crimson Blade Hall."

Like The Celestial Alliance, they’ve done all sorts of burning, killing, and looting. Yet, they’ve never involved the elderly or children, nor have they touched drugs.

Not even threatening with drugs.

If not for such a wicked mindset, why would they resort to drugs?

Lune looked at the Third Elder with a blank expression and said, "Ordinary background, father is a manager of a small company, mother is an elentary school teacher."

Raina North was very familiar with Susan Kensington’s past. After all, she used to be a hugely popular actress and married Vincent Hawthorne. For a long period, whenever Susan appeared on variety shows, she would openly and subtly flaunt her life as a noble lady.

Though Raina always looked down on her, she couldn’t be bothered to make any further comnts.

"Where is Susan Kensington now?" Raina asked.

Lune knew Raina would ask and imdiately reported Susan Kensington’s current location.

Raina laughed at the news: "As expected, after waiting so many years, she’s too impatient to wait any longer. Look at her, heading to The Hawthorne Group so early."

...

At this ti, at The Hawthorne Group.

The inauguration ceremony of Vincent Hawthorne as CEO was set to start at ten in the morning. Although it was still early, the employees of The Hawthorne Group were already busy.

In the lounge, the atmosphere was tense, heavy with the scent of gunpowder in the air.

With a bang, Jasper Hawthorne threw the speech in his hand to the ground. He jumped up from his seat, kicked over the chair, and shouted angrily: "To hell with it! I won’t read this cursed speech! What face does Susan Kensington, a habitual ho-wrecker, have to say that my mother, being a rich family’s heiress, disregarded her relationship with Vincent, forcing them apart!

A woman like you, used to lowly ways, finally climbs up the pyramid and can’t help flaunting. I can understand that. But if you think you can insult my deceased mother, I will never agree! Susan Kensington, I warn you, don’t go too far!"

Jasper was shaking with anger, yet he still clenched his fists tightly, fiercely restraining his emotions.

In the past, this would have been impossible.

He would have already jumped up and taken Susan down.

Anyway, even if Susan was furious, she wouldn’t dare take his life. As for those insignificant tricks, Jasper was even less worried.

A Susan Kensington, with neither shares nor power, supported only by a man, was just a paper tiger, nothing to fear.

However, he couldn’t act wilfully now.

Before his big brother left, he entrusted The Hawthorne Group and the three children to his care. He was incompetent, couldn’t protect The Hawthorne Group, nor take good care of the children.

When his brother returns, he’s willing to accept any punishnt. But the prerequisite is that the three children must co to no harm.

If Susan, this black-hearted woman, truly injected drugs into them, the three children would be ruined.

Even if he died a thousand tis, ten thousand tis, he couldn’t forgive himself for the burden of guilt!
