"Because your relationship with Shen Heyu is still useful to ," Chen Wenzhou cared about the interest involved.
After hearing his words, Lu Yunlan laughed sarcastically, slumped onto the sofa next to her like a robot that had run out of battery, falling silent for quite a while.
"I’m only giving you three days to get on good terms with Shen Heyu," Chen Wenzhou repeated his demand.
He repeatedly forced Lu Yunlan to do things she was unwilling to do. Lu Yunlan sneered and looked up at the person in front of her.

Chen Wenzhou still held leverage over the Lu Family; he wasn’t worried at all that Lu Yunlan wouldn’t listen to him.
Hearing this, Lu Yunlan sardonically tugged at the corners of her mouth.
"My brother exchanged his company for a pill in your possession out of trust in you, but he didn’t expect you to betray that trust and want to take over the Lu Family’s company."
As Lu Yunlan said this, she felt every nerve tightened to breaking point.

Lu Yunlan smiled weakly, tugging at the corners of her mouth—Chen Wenzhou had made it very clear; how could he not understand.
"Fine. If I lower my face to please Shen Heyu as you ask, will you return the company to my brother?"
"That depends on whether you and Lu Yi are compliant. If you satisfy , I might consider returning the company to you," Chen Wenzhou didn’t give a definitive answer.
After hearing that, Lu Yunlan clenched her teeth in anger, nearly cursing out loud.

She dried her hands and picked up the phone to see it was Lu Yunlan calling.
Seeing the call was from Lu Yunlan made Shen Heyu frown subconsciously.

Shen Heyu took a deep breath and answered the call, putting the phone to her ear, prepared for more harsh words.
But to her complete surprise, this ti, as soon as she answered the call, she heard a cautious voice.
"Heyu, I spoke out of anger last ti; what I said was not from my heart. Now that I’ve cald down, I feel I was extrely excessive and I hope you can forgive . Let’s not take it to heart, we will always be best friends."
Lu Yunlan’s attitude had done a complete one-eighty, and Shen Heyu felt unreal listening to her apologize.
"Heyu, why aren’t you saying anything? Are you still angry at ? Let’s et up—so things can’t be clearly stated over a phone call. I hope you can forgive ; I was really wrong last ti. I just hope you give another chance."
As Lu Yunlan spoke, her voice choked up, and Shen Heyu felt heavy-hearted, as if weighed down like she had swallowed a weight.
The things Lu Yunlan had said last ti were indeed excessive and hurt her feelings, but they had been best friends for so many years.
"I know I went too far last ti. Let’s et and talk about it—you can hit or scold , whatever you want, as long as you don’t cut ties with ," Lu Yunlan said eagerly.

Lu Yunlan spoke urgently. After a long silence, Shen Heyu finally said, "The incident last ti is past, and I can understand you were upset. It’s possible for people to say anything when they’re not thinking straight."

Shen Heyu glanced at the food she had prepared and said, "It might not be convenient to et today. Let’s et tomorrow."
"Sure, where are you staying now? I can visit you at your place; it’s been such a long ti since I’ve been to your house. I don’t even know where you’ve moved to."
Shen Heyu hesitated a mont before finally giving her address, "Then, co over tomorrow."
"Great, tomorrow I’ll bring so cupcakes I’ve made myself to apologize to you in person—we will always be best friends."
