"I hope you won’t regret making this choice," Qin Jiu’er didn’t express her own opinion much; after all, this was their family affair, and it wasn’t quite appropriate for her to get involved.

Lu Yunlan didn’t speak again; she slowly lowered her head. Just as she did so, a woman walked out of the building and got into the Ferrari parked in the yard.

Qin Jiu’er stared intently at the woman’s back, her brows getting tighter. It seed her coming here was not in vain.

Indeed, she was here.

But why would she appear at the Chen Family ho?

There must be answers here that Qin Jiu’er wanted to find. She watched with her own eyes as the woman got into the Ferrari and drove away.

"You have a little over an hour left before the toxins in your body are completely cleared. I have so other matters to attend to, so I’ll be going now."

"Here is my business card. It has my contact information on it. If you have any issues on this end, you can call ."

After stuffing a business card into Lu Yunlan’s hand from her pocket, Qin Jiu’er left in a hurry, not even leaving a gap for a reply.

When Qin Jiu’er pursued by car, it was too late; the woman driving the Ferrari had completely disappeared from his sight.

The car stopped on the street, surrounded by a stream of endless traffic. Qin Jiu’er frowned slightly, and that’s when she received a call from Gu Siyu.

Picking up the phone, Gu Siyu’s voice ca through from the other end, "Master, I know you’ve co to Hua Country. Now we’re both in the sa city, can we et?"

"Ti and place," Qin Jiu’er said crisply and decisively.

"Delun Cafe, let’s et now."

Delun Cafe.

Qin Jiu’er entered to find that Gu Siyu had booked the entire coffee shop generously, bringing only one table of guests. However, this table of guests was sowhat unexpected for Qin Jiu’er, yet sowhat within expectation at the sa ti.

Pei Yansi and Shen Heyu were also here. Qin Jiu’er saw them but showed no surprise. Instead, she took a seat next to Shen Heyu.

"Master, it’s been a long ti. I never expected to encounter you in Hua Country," Gu Siyu said respectfully upon seeing Qin Jiu’er.

Qin Jiu’er glanced at Pei Yansi and Shen Heyu next to her and quickly smiled as she picked up the coffee that Gu Siyu had already ordered for her, taking a slow sip.

"The two of them know my identity and have shown no surprise. It seems like you’ve already told them. I am curious. Gu Siyu, who has always been reluctant to easily trust outsiders, how could you suddenly reveal my real identity so easily?"

Gu Siyu smiled, "Because now we’re on the sa side. They are my partners. Trust is the most needed thing in cooperation, so there’s nothing to hide."

"Moreover, Master, you never actively hid your identity. You just didn’t face the world with it, is it because you’re afraid others would doubt whether you, so young, really are the renowned ’K’?"

"If others are willing to believe, I believe even you would disclose your real identity without hesitation. So, I told them."

Upon hearing Gu Siyu’s words, Qin Jiu’er slowly set down the coffee cup and smiled, "Worthy of being my top disciple, not only are you talented in poison-making, but you also understand , your master, so well."

Gu Siyu smiled, his eyes revealing a sharp light, "I want to know whether your appearance in Hua Country this ti, your appearance here, has anything to do with my sister’s death. She didn’t really die, did she? This is all just an act."

Qin Jiu’er, upon hearing Gu Siyu’s question, raised her eyebrows mysteriously, "You shouldn’t be asking that question, but rather asking yourself. Do you think Song Miaoyu is dead?"

"I believe my sister is definitely not dead. If she were, you simply wouldn’t appear here, let alone stay for so many days. You’ve been here for so many days because you’re probably trying to investigate the matter thoroughly."

Gu Siyu hadn’t been with Qin Jiu’er for very long, only four years. But his understanding of her far surpassed Song Miaoyu’s.

Qin Jiu’er wasn’t surprised to hear Gu Siyu’s words; a familiar figure flashed through her mind.

Yet, she didn’t show her hand on the surface, lifting her head to smile at Gu Siyu.

"Although you’re a genius ’Saint’s Hand,’ you can’t possess another body, and more importantly, why Song Miaoyu ended up in such a plight, you should be clearer about that than anyone else."

Qin Jiu’er’s conversation with Gu Siyu felt like there was a veil in between, always hazy and never giving a definitive answer.

Hearing Qin Jiu’er not take a stand, Gu Siyu beca sowhat anxious, "Master, why don’t you just tell directly, my sister’s not dead, she must be quietly observing from a corner, right?"

Qin Jiu’er smiled slowly, neither confirming nor denying Gu Siyu’s words.

"Aren’t you investigating Song Miaoyu’s whereabouts? Whether she’s dead or alive, you’ll soon find out."

"She’s not dead, she must be deceiving , punishing . No matter where she hides, even at the edges of the earth, I will find her," Gu Siyu said, slowly clenching his fists.

"If that’s the case, then I wish you luck in finding her soon."

"Master, do you know where she is? Is she at Chen Wenzhou’s house? Why would she hide at Chen Wenzhou’s?"

Gu Siyu couldn’t figure this out, why his sister would get entangled with soone like Chen Wenzhou.

Qin Jiu’er didn’t answer this question, instead, she turned to look at Pei Yansi and Shen Heyu.

She knew what kind of people Pei Yansi and Shen Heyu were, and what had happened to them.

"I’ve heard you’re recently looking for Purple Cloud Grass," Qin Jiu’er didn’t answer Gu Siyu’s question, instead, she turned to Pei Yansi.

"Indeed, does Miss Qin have such Purple Cloud Grass?" Pei Yansi knew Qin Jiu’er wouldn’t bring up this topic for no reason; it seed she had sothing to say to him.

Qin Jiu’er smiled aningfully and pulled a business card from her pocket, handing it to Pei Yansi, "If you want to get Purple Cloud Grass, co see ."

After saying this, Qin Jiu’er stood up and walked toward the exit. Gu Siyu called out to stop her.

"Master, what exactly is my sister up to? Why did she fake her death, and why are you unwilling to tell the truth?"

"If you’re curious, then investigate it yourself."
