Besides the unfamiliar woman in the room, there was soone Shen Heyu was very familiar with—it was Lu Yi.
Lu Yi was standing at the side, putting on his clothes in a confused manner. Just as Shen Heyu opened the door, Lu Yi had just finished putting on his pants and turned his head, eting Shen Heyu’s gaze in shock.
“Shen Heyu?”
Lu Yi looked in disbelief, then glanced again at Chen Wenzhou standing behind him.

Lu Yi had explained to the woman nad Xiao Hua that he already had a legal wife and could not marry her. He offered any other compensation Xiao Hua desired, willing to give any amount, but the woman was very persistent.
She persistently pressured Lu Yi to divorce Shen Heyu and marry her. Lu Yi refused this, and just as they were arguing, the door suddenly got pushed open.
More importantly, the person who pushed the door open was Shen Heyu, and Lu Yi was exposed in such an indecent state before Shen Heyu, sending a chill through his heart.
However, he quickly saw Chen Wenzhou standing next to Shen Heyu. He charged toward Chen, swinging his fist, wanting to land a punch on him.

“Besides, we both know our relationship has always been bad, incompatible like fire and water.”
Chen Wenzhou subtly reminded Lu Yi, catching the attention of Shen Heyu in the room. Lu Yi then reluctantly, bit by bit, loosened the grip on Chen’s collar.
Having already let Shen Heyu see him in bed with another woman, if she also found out he was colluding with Chen Wenzhou, there was no chance of salvaging their relationship.
Lu Yi nearly crushed his teeth in anger, forcing himself to slowly loosen his grip on Chen’s collar and lower his raised fist.
Chen Wenzhou watched Lu Yi, unable to swallow his frustration, calmly adjusted his crumpled collar, then looked around the ssy room.
“It seems it’s ti for you to deal with your family matters. Should I step out?” Chen Wenzhou spoke, but no one responded to him as Lu Yi’s attention was focused entirely on Shen Heyu.
Lu Yi softly called out Shen Heyu’s na, “Heyu, things aren’t what you think. I was set up today, I had no idea what happened, I just woke up and found things like this.”
Hearing Lu Yi’s words, Xiao Hua, overwheld with emotion, rushed at Lu Yi and clung tightly to his hand.
“You bastard, do you even know what you’re talking about? You slept with and now you actually say you don’t know what happened!”
Lu Yi was pleading for Shen Heyu’s forgiveness, but Xiao Hua kept pestering him. Lu Yi, out of patience, and not sparing any tenderness, shoved her aside. He stared intently at Shen Heyu.
He lowered his stance, begging Shen Heyu for forgiveness, over and over he said to Shen Heyu, “Heyu, you have to believe , I am truly innocent.”
“It was him today,” Lu Yi raised his hand pointing at Chen Wenzhou. He was the one who had done this to him and he wasn’t going to let him escape bla either. “He said you were in danger and told to co here to save soone, but I didn’t expect to have a drink with him after I entered, and then I passed out. I have no mory of what happened afterward.”
Shen Heyu looked up at Lu Yi, but did not look at Chen Wenzhou who he was pointing to.
Xiao Hua, with her hair as ssy as a midnight ghost, crawled up from the ground again and lunged towards Lu Yi, desperately clinging to his legs.
“How ruthless of you, to think you could just desert after what happened, I won’t allow you to leave unless you give an explanation today, otherwise, I might as well jump off from here.”
“Let go! Release now. I’ve already told you, whatever amount of money you want as compensation, I’ll satisfy you.” Lu Yi tried hard to shake his legs but couldn’t get Xiao Hua off.
Xiao Hua lifted her head, her eyes fixed intently on Lu Yi.
“As I’ve told you many tis, I don’t want money, I want you to divorce this woman and marry , if you can’t do that, believe , I will jump from here right now, and it will be you who drove to my death!”
Xiao Hua’s extre threats pressured Lu Yi, but he was not planning to give in, and he didn’t take her words seriously at all.
“If you don’t let go now, don’t bla for being rude.” Lu Yi was already panicking in front of Shen Heyu, but this woman just wouldn’t stop bothering him, and if this continued, Shen Heyu would definitely get angry.

But Shen Heyu just stared coldly at him, “How do you plan to handle today’s incident?”
