Shen Heyu suddenly turned around and found Lu Yi actually standing behind her, the grip on her phone tightening continuously.

“You must have heard wrong just now. I wasn’t on the phone with Yansi; I was talking to Yuexue. Yuexue just asked how her father was doing, so I answered her a couple of sentences.”
“Really?” Lu Yi seed half-convinced. He glanced back at the phone on the table, and following his gaze, Shen Heyu saw that the ti was now half-past four.
“Of course, it’s true. Since the food is ready, let’s eat first.”
“It’s still early for this ti of day. Isn’t it a bit too early for dinner? How about we watch so TV drama first?” Lu Yi saw that Shen Heyu didn’t ntion wanting to leave, so he gradually began to relax.
According to what Yansi had said, he had to see Shen Heyu at ho before five-thirty, otherwise, he would take action against Lu Yi.

“What’s wrong? Where are you going?”
Even though Shen Heyu hadn’t ntioned leaving yet, seeing her stand up and walk away, Lu Yi beca very agitated and asked anxiously, worried that Shen Heyu might disappear from in front of him in the next second.
Shen Heyu paused, then turned to calm Lu Yi down, “I’m going to get my phone, so I don’t miss any important ssages.”
Shen Heyu went to the living room, picked up her phone, and saw that three minutes had passed. The passage of every second left her feeling increasingly anxious.
She knew she had been stubborn on the phone with Yansi just now; she couldn’t really stand by idly, which ant she had silently agreed to Yansi’s request.

Shen Heyu pretended to sigh casually, “Have you forgotten what we promised Pei Yansi yesterday? We will stay with him for three days, and this is only the first day. In another two days, I will be back.”
