Shen Heyu exhaled a relieved breath. Chen Lingng, who had always liked to oppose and trouble her with difficult situations, had unexpectedly helped her by mistake.
Shen Heyu gave a faint smile to Chen Lingng, “Then, I thank Miss Chen for facilitating my departure from here.”

Shen Heyu paused in her steps, heard her words, but did not turn around or respond, just continued walking out of the villa.
After Shen Heyu left, she imdiately went to find Lu Yi.
She and Pei Yansi had left this day, and Lu Yi had been staying in a five-star suite.
When Shen Heyu arrived at the five-star suite where Lu Yi was staying, the mont she used her room key to open the door, a strong sll of alcohol hit her face, making her frown. Could it be that Lu Yi had been drinking again, despite her warnings?
Following the strong scent of alcohol, she walked towards the balcony.
When she reached the balcony, she couldn’t help but stop in surprise, as Lu Yi was sitting disheveled on the floor, surrounded by empty bottles. He was just about to take another drink when he saw Shen Heyu and froze.
He tugged at his mouth, letting out a few self-mocking laughs.
“The sun hasn’t even set yet. How am I seeing hallucinations? Heyu couldn’t possibly be here because she won’t be back for another three days.”
Lu Yi was nearly drunk as he looked at Shen Heyu with a bitter yet blissful smile. Then he leaned back to drink from the bottle, but Shen Heyu quickly grabbed the bottle out of his hand.
After Shen Heyu took the bottle away, Lu Yi, who was sitting on the ground, paused montarily, looking at his empty palm where the bottle had been before. Realizing what had happened, he frantically scrambled to his feet.
“Heyu, I must be dreaming, right? You’re really here in front of !”
Lu Yi couldn’t believe what he was seeing, thinking he was just confused from drinking. He slapped himself in the face, and when he truly felt the pain, he blinked his eyes only to see that Shen Heyu hadn’t disappeared with the wind.
“Heyu, you’ve really co back! I’m so happy.”
Lu Yi was so overjoyed that he didn’t know what to say; he spread his arms and embraced Shen Heyu. The mont he held her, her body stiffened for a second.
But she quickly frowned and pushed him away, examining him from head to toe.
“Lu Yi, didn’t you promise that you wouldn’t drink so much alcohol? It’s still daylight. Explain to what’s going on with all these bottles on the balcony.”
Shen Heyu looked discontentedly at the bottles on the ground, seeing at least twenties or thirties beer cans, not knowing when he had drunk them.
Lu Yi, feeling sowhat embarrassed, scratched his head.
“Heyu, I’m sorry. I had promised you I wouldn’t drink so much, but every ti I thought of you by Pei Yansi’s side, I felt sad. The sadness made my heart hurt, so I could only drink to numb my heart and distract myself.”
“Don’t you know that drinking too much harms your health? And didn’t I tell you? I’d be back in just three days. What was the need to tornt yourself like this?”
A flicker of disappointnt passed through Shen Heyu’s eyes. She sighed, and Lu Yi, noticing her sigh, frantically picked up his cellphone to call the front desk.
“Heyu, please don’t be mad, okay? I’ll call housekeeping right now to clean up these bottles, and I’ll never drink so much again.”
“This morning on the phone, you promised the sa thing. And what happened? It’s only the afternoon and you’ve already drunk so much.”
Shen Heyu sighed again and, no longer wanting to see the bottles on the balcony, went back to the room. After Lu Yi finished his call, he imdiately followed Shen Heyu inside and took the initiative to pour her a glass of water.
