Chapter 36: 36 Chapters Kiss
All eyes in the hospital room turned at the sound, spotting Shen Heyu standing by the door, holding a al box in her hands.
Her illness seed to have improved, clad in a simple set of ho clothes, her hair casually tied into a low ponytail.
Strands of hair slipped down beside her temples, accentuating her beautiful face.
She paused when she saw the scene inside the room, apparently not expecting to find Pei Yansi there.
Pei Yansi silently observed her, his gaze falling onto the al box in her hands.

Shen Heyu was dragged away by Pei Yansi without explanation. At that ti of night, the hospital corridors weren’t crowded, but she still preferred not to make a scene and attract attention.
Pei Yansi pulled her into a stairwell.
The lighting in the stairwell was dim, and Pei Yansi stood against the wall, the cold white wall behind him setting off his already cold deanor.
“What do you an by this?” he was the first to confront Shen Heyu.
Shen Heyu, her face expressionless, didn’t even look up at him and simply asked, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Pei Yansi couldn’t help but snicker, she left without a word with soone else, and moreover, she followed Lu Yunlan to Lu Yi’s family. Regardless of the nature of their relationship, Pei Yansi never believed in pure platonic friendships between n and won.

He spoke in a cold tone, “You just run off without a word with other n, have you consulted ? Have you forgotten who your legal husband is?”
Shen Heyu was not in the mood to speak much to him now; she had a fever that hadn’t completely subsided. Though the fever had broken, her body was still weak, and without paying him any attention, she turned to leave.
But such an action, to Pei Yansi’s eyes, was nothing but a deliberate evasion.
He sneered, “You sure have grown a bigger temper, is it because you’ve got an old fla now, and thinking he can have your back, you start showing attitude?”
Shen Heyu’s footsteps halted, his words were simply too ugly to hear, “I hope you’re being reasonable.”
“What reason? Is it the reason that you, as my wife, moved out without saying a word to another man’s house, or is it that you have a secret crush on Lu Yi, sothing that started back in college?”
“Pei Yansi! You’re insane!”
Shen Heyu, provoked by his words, turned around and yelled at him.
Pei Yansi was stunned for a mont, as if he hadn’t expected that she would still yell at him because of another man. His face grew cold and silent. He suddenly grabbed Shen Heyu’s wrist, pulled her into his embrace, then took hold of her chin to lift her face, and bent down to kiss her deeply.
Shen Heyu frowned, clenching her teeth tightly, refusing to succumb.
But he had his ways of bending her to his will, reaching out to pinch her chin, squeezing just enough to hurt. Shen Heyu, in pain and by instinct, opened her mouth, and he got his way.
His kisses were wild and rough, with an air of venting and punishnt. Shen Heyu almost couldn’t breathe from the intensity of his kissing.
She struggled, but her hands were caught by him, raised high above her head, leaving her with no chance to resist.
It was a long ti before he finally let her go.
Shen Heyu was still dazed, nearly asphyxiated; it took her a long ti to recover her senses and she said coldly, “This is unreasonable.” Lunatic!
Angry, she turned to leave, not wanting to stay a mont longer, or rather not wanting to see him at all.
She quickly left the place, and on her way out, she saw a nurse hurrying by, seemingly with an urgent matter.
Shen Heyu didn’t pay any attention and left by the elevator.
Pei Yansi did not follow her. He touched his lips, thinking about the kiss just now.
So of the anger in his heart had dissipated.
He also took the stairwell, instructing his people to keep watch over Bai Sheng’er and didn’t plan on going back; he went straight to his apartnt.
Bai Sheng’er was alone in the hospital, but there were bodyguards brought by Pei Yansi outside for her protection. She was furious in her heart, unable to believe that Shen Heyu’s presence had made him walk away.
Even for the whole night, he didn’t reply to any of her ssages.
This gave her a sense of crisis.
When she woke up in the morning, she took out her phone wanting to see if Pei Yansi had replied to her texts, but upon opening it, she saw a trending topic on the Big Eyes app.
