His voice was so gentle that Shen Heyu montarily let her guard down, feeling her heart beat erratically as if a deer were running amok.
She had felt this way many years ago. She hadn’t expected that today it would all co flooding back. She was montarily at a loss, it had been so long that, at this mont, she didn’t know how to respond.

He seed to be gently pleading, respecting Shen Heyu’s wishes.
Shen Heyu quietly observed him, trying to discern the truth in his words, but after a long look, she couldn’t glean any clues.
She didn’t know whether to believe him or not, especially since this man’s previous tactics were exceptionally vile. If she misjudged him, she might fall into a deeper abyss.
“Heyu,” seeing that she hadn’t imdiately answered, Pei Yansi continued, “Trust this ti, give this chance. I am just taking you ho.”
Whether she allowed him to take her or not didn’t really matter because he already knew her current address and even where she worked.
But that was a secret.
And all he did was have Zhao Jin covertly monitor her. He still hadn’t received her permission to visit her openly, which made him feel powerless.
If she agreed this ti and he took her ho, then he would have the chance to visit her openly in the future.
This was also a part of Pei Yansi’s plan.
Shen Heyu gazed at his face, and maybe it was the years of unrequited love that compelled her, she nodded her head hesitantly, agreeing to his request.

He asked proactively.
Regardless, he still hoped to receive a gift from her. He had always thought that such things were rely formalities and not important.

He was right beside Shen Heyu, holding her in his arms as they watched the fireworks outside.
Suddenly, a particularly beautiful firework shot into the night sky and exploded magnificently.
Pei Yansi suddenly said, “I heard that making a wish upon fireworks can also co true. Would you like to try?”
Shen Heyu glanced at him curiously and said, “Do you actually believe in that?”

After all, he was hoping every day, hoping she would co back to him.
