Pei Yansi was a step faster than her, his warm, large palm swiftly grasped her delicate, pale wrist and pulled her into his embrace.
Shen Heyu, caught off guard, collided right into his arms.
Before she could react, his icy lips heavily descended on hers.
His breath was cold and crisp, resembling the scent of orchids and cinnamon, enveloping her entirely.
Shen Heyu, stunned, tried to step back, but Pei Yansi had no intention of allowing her that chance. He wrapped his arm around her waist, carefully avoiding the burn on her skin, while his other hand pressed against the back of her head to prevent her from moving back even slightly.
He ambiguously swept over her pretty lips, tracing the shape of her mouth.
His kiss was wild, deep, and forceful, leaving her no chance to resist, seizing her breath, nearly swallowing her whole.
Shen Heyu struggled but couldn't escape and gradually sensed his change.
At this mont, he was extrely dangerous, a fact Shen Heyu knew better than anyone. It seed he was angry, and whenever he got angry he would tornt her to no end.
True to form, just as the thought crossed her mind, Pei Yansi pushed her down onto the sofa.
He moved behind her, gripping her slender waist, signaling a climax was near.

He pulled her back up to sit, and said coldly, "Rember, even under the agreent, I am the only man you can have. Otherwise, what's the point of punishing you to be Mrs. Pei? This is what you deserve."
Not obtaining love, yet she had to sit in this position for a lifeti.
Regardless of her relationship with Doctor Lu, she would never escape the marital prison he had crafted for her with his own hands.
Shen Heyu's heart pricked, and she pressed her lips together, remaining silent.

The next day, Shen Heyu had planned to follow Pei Yansi's instructions to stay ho for two days, but early in the morning she received a call from the company.
Her assistant, hurriedly said on the phone, "Director Shen, ng Ru has moved up the advertising shoot. She said she has so schedule next month, so she requests the shoot be done now. Will you co to the office?"
Shen Heyu, feeling a headache coming on and fatigued, pressed her temples. ng Ru held a high position in the company and seed to have had an unclear relationship with Pei Yansi before.
These big stars were the company's cash cows, and as long as their demands weren't excessive, they could be accommodated.
"I'll be right there."
Shen Heyu hung up, changed into a loose outfit, and drove to the office.
She went straight to the studio where all the staff were already prepared, with scenes and cara placents all set up.
ng Ru had already finished her makeup and was doing the final styling and advertisent preparations.
Shen Heyu approached the director to check if there were any issues with the cara placents. These company advertisents always strived for perfection to achieve higher benefits for the company.
As she was looking intently, her assistant ca over and said, "Director Shen, ng Ru said she has so details about the ad shoot that she'd like to discuss with you. You're the overall director, and she seems to want to change so movents and the script."
Shen Heyu's gaze shifted through the crowd to ng Ru.
She sat amidst several makeup artists, ostentatious and imposing, her makeup exquisite and her large wavy hair styled distinctively, staring right at her unblinkingly.
Her look was three parts provocative and seven parts scornful.
Shen Heyu was silent for two seconds, then walked toward her.
Standing in front of ng Ru, even though Shen Heyu was dressed simply and only lightly used so polite foundation, her temperant significantly outclassed ng Ru.
There was no other reason than that she was a legitimate achiever who ascended through sheer capability, unlike ng Ru from the entertainnt circle who relied on spreading her legs.
"What script do you want to change?" Shen Heyu's voice was chilly.
Playing with her manicure, ng Ru nonchalantly said, "The final script set by Director Shen, how could I dare to change it arbitrarily?"
While speaking, she told the makeup artists around her, "You all stop for a bit, I'm tired now."
The makeup artists promptly left, moving to the other side.
Then ng Ru lowered her voice and said, "I just feel sorry for Director Shen and wanted to chat with you, to comfort you."
"If it's not about work, I'm leaving."
Shen Heyu stepped forward, intending to leave.
ng Ru hurriedly said, "I heard about yesterday. I'm saying Director Shen, you can fight and tear at my level, so why are you so timid in front of a small, inexperienced intern fresh out of society?"
"She's almost on her way up, aren't you going to resist at all, aren't you afraid she'll hook President Pei away?"
Shen Heyu suddenly smiled, a smile from the heart, and said, "If she has the capability to lure Pei Yansi away and make him divorce , I'd actually thank her."
ng Ru was startled, not expecting her to react this way, and her plan to provoke her failed. "Shen Heyu, are you insane?"
Shen Heyu scoffed, "As for you, I know you don't have the capability to make Pei Yansi divorce. I intervened because I couldn't stand your arrogance. But this intern is different, she has the capability."
ng Ru was infuriated by her words.
She couldn't even outplay a rookie intern?!
As soon as she thought that, the person in question walked in, holding a stage managent docunt. This ad shoot, she was in charge of ng Ru's stage arrangents.
How many shots, how to shoot, and how many takes to finalize, were all decided by Bai Sheng'er.
Of course, with most of this kind of work involving soone of ng Ru's status, it was usually the other way around, especially since Bai Sheng'er was just an intern.
Having just been challenged and furious, ng Ru wanted to see just how capable this Bai Sheng'er was.
She called out, "Surna Bai, co here."
Bai Sheng'er looked over reflexively, pointing to herself, "Are you calling ?"
"Nonsense, who else if not you?"
Bai Sheng'er hurriedly ca forward, "What's the matter?"
Seeing her co over, Shen Heyu moved a bit to the side. Although she disdained dealing with Bai Sheng'er, she wouldn't mind watching if soone else made a move.
ng Ru said, "You're in charge of my stage managent, right? I'm a bit tired today and want to delay until tonight to shoot."
Bai Sheng'er checked her schedule and said, "But there's a scene in ten minutes..."
"I said I'm tired, do you not understand?!" ng Ru interrupted sharply, scoffing, "Who do you think you are, an insignificant intern daring to dictate my schedule? I'm always managed by senior stage managers."
Since joining the company, Bai Sheng'er had been well-protected by Pei Yansi, and this was her first ti being scolded like this. Her eyes imdiately reddened, wanting to bring up Pei Yansi.
She had barely said 'Pei' when ng Ru ruthlessly interrupted her, "You dare use President Pei to press ?"
Hearing Bai Sheng'er's words, Shen Heyu similarly couldn't help but scoff. She had thought she had so ability, but it seems she was nothing special after all.
No matter what, ng Ru was still the company's top stream, a money tree that shook and rattled with cash. Pei Yansi, a businessman who valued profits, would he choose Bai Sheng'er over cutting down a money tree?
Wishful thinking.
