A al that left Su Wanxin feeling emotionally complex.
Even though she knows she’ll have many opportunities to return here in the future.
But today counts as her first ti sitting with these people since recovering her mories.
She rembers everything that happened before.
She’s been struggling to restrain her emotions, keeping her head down and silent, quietly eating her food, feeling as if she’s in another world.
A long ti ago, scenes like this used to happen. Then one day, they stopped.
Because she decided to stay here tonight to ask Li Mo about so things, she couldn’t help but feel nervous.
She hasn’t sat with Aunt Mo alone to discuss anything for a long ti...
Su Wanxin’s gaze always uncontrollably drifted toward Li Mo, and no matter how well she hid it, Li Mo still noticed sothing.
Li Mo’s casual glance upwards caught Su Wanxin’s fleeting look.
Seeing Su Wanxin’s hurried reaction of lowering her head, Li Mo slightly froze, then subtly raised the corner of his mouth, with a faint hint of amusent in his eyes.
Everyone kept their thoughts to themselves, occasionally engaging in soft conversations.
Su Yao sat next to Su Wanxin, quietly observing the Fu Family mbers, biting her chopsticks, her brows furrowing slightly.
After finishing the al, she eagerly pulled Su Wanxin aside, her expression conflicted, speaking in a quiet voice, hesitating.
"Why do I feel like his family doesn’t like us?"
"Really?"
"Yes." Su Yao nodded earnestly: "They’re all so quiet."
Su Wanxin lowered her head and smiled: "If they kept talking nonstop, wouldn’t that be more scary?"
Su Wanxin briefly imagined that scene, with all the Fu family mbers talking nonstop around her...
Too terrifying.
Su Yao followed her thought, looked over at those people again, and nodded thoughtfully.
"That’s true..."
She murmured, pondering. These people don’t seem like they would talk too much, but why does Fu Shihan have so much to say?
After calming Su Yao down, Su Wanxin saw Fu Shihan taking a phone call.
He walked to the balcony, speaking softly to soone, but his expression seed overly serious.
After talking for a few minutes, he returned and looked at Fu Hongru and Li Mo, saying: "Dad, Mom, I have sothing to discuss with you."
Then he glanced at Fu Shili, "You co too."
And with that, he pushed Li Mo’s wheelchair toward the study.
Su Wanxin watched his serious expression, bowing her head in thought.
What’s going on? Why so serious suddenly, did sothing happen at the company?
Just as Su Wanxin was seriously guessing, she suddenly heard Fu Shihan call her na: "Wanwan, co over."
Su Wanxin stared blankly as she lifted her head, not quite sure, but upon seeing him nod, she hesitated and then got up to walk toward him.
The atmosphere beca sowhat strange, and Su Yao watched those people leave, turning to Lu Ci, softly asking: "What’s wrong?"
"I don’t know." Lu Ci’s eyes glead slightly, and then he chuckled. "Family matters?"
"Why wouldn’t they call for family matters?" Fu Shiyi frowned and asked.
"And !" Yangyang asked loudly.
Lu Ci looked at the two of them, thought for a mont, and replied—
"Probably because you two would lower the overall IQ level?"
Yangyang is still young, so having a lower IQ is understandable.
So his words were clearly aid at Fu Shiyi, making Fu Shiyi gasp with anger, yet she subconsciously felt he was right.
That’s the most infuriating part!
She didn’t have the grounds to refute!
