"Let go of , I still have work to finish." Su Wanxin struggled to distance herself from him.

Whether she understood him or not, she wasn’t too sure. But she certainly understood herself.

When it ca to him, she was the kind who liked him to the point of humility. As long as he showed any goodwill, she would imdiately want to bow her head, forgiving everything.

She anxiously pushed him, frowning, "I don’t want to talk to you right now, hurry up and leave."

"I’ll help you." Fu Shihan pretended not to hear her last words, pulling her to sit down at the computer desk, asking, "What do you need to do?"

Su Wanxin was forced to sit on his lap, remaining silent.

Seeing this, Fu Shihan suggested, "Why don’t we go to the hospital first, and bring the work back ho to finish?"

Unless he personally took her for a check-up to confirm she was healthy, he couldn’t settle his unease.

"I’m not going to the hospital, I already had a check-up with Zhan Che before, I’m fine."

"No way, I don’t trust him." Fu Shihan imdiately retorted, "The way that guy looks at you isn’t right, he definitely likes you."

"Why do you think everyone likes ?!"

"You’re just likable."

"..."

Su Wanxin was so exasperated she couldn’t speak.

Fu Shihan persisted, insisting on taking her to the hospital. Su Wanxin couldn’t resist his coaxing and finally nodded in agreent.

After Chen Lei delivered the docunts, Fu Shihan took her away, drove to a certain hospital, and after a phone call, took her directly upstairs.

"Uncle Zhou." Fu Shihan pushed the door open into the office, and upon seeing an elderly man, he said, "Help my wife with a check-up."

The elderly man adjusted the glasses on his nose, carefully examining the person beside Fu Shihan, then smiled.

"Oh, it’s been a long ti since I saw this little one."

Su Wanxin smiled awkwardly, rembering him.

After her previous car accident, Fu Shihan had brought her here for a check-up.

Back then, Doctor Zhou had said, "Shihan, this young lady’s health is really poor, she needs to go back and take good care of herself."

Su Wanxin didn’t expect him to still rember her.

"Hello, Uncle Zhou."

"Hello." He looked at Su Wanxin, nodding with a smile.

People tend to have poorer mories as they age, especially those working in hospitals, seeing so many people daily.

So it’s rare for soone to be rembered after just one eting.

The reason he rembered Su Wanxin so well was that Fu Shihan had brought her there.

It was rare for that brat Fu Shihan to ask for his help, so forgetting was difficult.

"Your health seems much better; what’s wrong this ti, what needs checking?" he asked as he got up.

"She’s pregnant." Fu Shihan answered straightforwardly, a hint of pride on his face. "Second child."

The doctor scoffed and glanced at him sideways, "So what about a second child? I’ve seen many third and fourth ones."

"How can it be the sa? This one’s mine!"

"Alright, step aside, don’t delay things."

The old man pushed him aside and took Su Wanxin for a check-up. Fu Shihan followed closely behind, not leaving even a step away.

Su Wanxin lay down on the bed, watching his nervous deanor, secretly sighing.

"There’s nothing wrong with the fetus, but..."

Uncle Zhou furrowed his brows, glancing at Su Wanxin’s abdon.

"Did you get progesterone shots before? Why so many?"

Su Wanxin’s body trembled slightly, and Fu Shihan’s expression changed: "Progesterone shots? Is there sothing wrong with the baby? Why did she need those?"

He walked over to take a serious look, and indeed, there were so very faint needle marks on Su Wanxin’s belly.
