Selling his car is sothing others wouldn’t dare to do, but Li Mo says she’ll do it, and she does.
There’s sothing Fu Shihan rembers very clearly: when he first took over the company back in the day, he couldn’t quite settle down in the first two months.
Although he had been in touch with the company’s operations before, he still had his own ti back then.
But once he fully took over, he realized that full-ti and part-ti were completely different concepts.
The endless business tasks felt like a death sentence constantly at his back.
Having been accustod to a laid-back student life, Fu Shihan only got three hours of sleep each day and was quite irritable during that period.
Li Mo understood him quite well and was afraid he’d run off to cause trouble, so she kept an eye on him every day.
From childhood to adulthood, the only ti Li Mo ever managed him was probably during those two months.
She regulated his comings and goings, monitored his etings with clients, and made him submit a daily work summary.
Fu Shihan naturally wasn’t happy and ntioned it to Fu Hongru.
But Fu Hongru was completely in hands-off mode, as if saying, "I’ve handed the company over to you, it’s not my problem. I’m off to fish, don’t bother , just listen to your mom."
Fu Shihan had no choice but to comply every day.
Seeing his good performance, and knowing he loved cars, Li Mo gifted him a car within the first month of him taking over the company.
A globally limited edition, one of only seven in existence.
Fu Shihan felt that the exhausting month was worth it at that mont and went out drinking that night and got drunk, missing the board eting the next day.
When Li Mo found out, she imdiately decided to give the car away, without a hint of hesitation.
She told Fu Shihan, "Since you’re the president of the Fu Family, you need to understand the kind of price you must pay for this position."
"Not being familiar with the company’s business gives you no authority over those old guys on the board."
"In one month of work, the company lost 3% of its custors because of your new appointnt."
"In this situation, you had the audacity to go clubbing, drinking, and miss an important eting?"
Fu Shihan couldn’t utter a word against her reprimand and went back to his old routine.
After grinding it out for two months, getting used to it, and familiarizing himself with all the dostic and international branches, Li Mo stepped back.
"Drink if you want to, if you drink yourself to ruin, I might as well consider you non-existent."
To this day, the car she gave away could still be found parked at the Lu Family... under Lu Ci’s na.
Every ti Fu Shihan sees it, he wants to smash it.
"Mom, what’s this about?" Fu Shihan asked in a low voice, sowhat helpless.
"Your son got into a fight while attending an event today."
Fu Shihan raised an eyebrow, "Did he win or lose?"
"He was up against a middle schooler, a foreigner no less, what do you think?"
"Tsk, what an overestimate of his abilities?" Fu Shihan chuckled and then asked seriously, "Did he get hurt? Did he go ho crying?"
"No, he didn’t cry, just threw a tantrum and refused to eat. You should find so ti to co back and check on him."
"Alright, I’ll head back in a bit."
Fu Shihan hung up the phone and turned back to the dining room. He glanced at Su Wanxin and said, "Mom asked about the company’s affairs, I have to go back for a bit, do you want to co along?"
Su Wanxin hesitated a little, and Fu Shihan added, "If you’re not up to it, you can wait a couple of days."
"Alright, then let’s do it in a couple of days."
"Yeah, if it gets too late today, I won’t co back. Not like I’d be able to get in the house, anyway." He said self-deprecatingly, "So you don’t have to lock the door tonight."
