Su Wanxin was vomiting particularly severely today, to the point where she was almost exhausted.

With a pale face, she lay over the toilet, almost wishing she could bundle herself up and flush away.

Su Yao squatted nearby, worriedly watching over her, holding a tissue in one hand and water in the other, feeling both heartbroken and anxious at her discomfort.

What should we do? If the Lu Family asked, how should we explain?

Su Yao was not calm at all, whereas Su Wanxin felt much more composed by comparison.

Perhaps it was because she had been around Fu Shihan for so long that she was affected by his influence.

Though most of the ti she couldn’t be as calm as an old tortoise like him, she could still manage like a young tortoise.

After vomiting until her stomach was completely empty, Su Wanxin took a sip of mineral water to rinse her mouth and stood up while holding onto the wall.

Lu Ci and the others were waiting outside the door with furrowed brows, looking at each other, not knowing what was going on.

Seeing her co out, they hurriedly started asking questions all at once.

Su Wanxin sighed and acted very composed.

"I’ve been extrely busy with work lately, traveling dostically and internationally, and caught a bad stomach flu. Sorry for troubling everyone."

She apologized softly and lightly sniffed, mimicking the feeling of a cold quite convincingly.

Su Yao gaped at her, thinking it was quite a pity her sister didn’t beco an actress.

The Lu Family listened to Su Wanxin’s explanation without suspicion.

Because the Lu and Fu families were relatively close, they knew a bit more about the matters between her and Fu Shihan compared to others.

They knew that things between Su Wanxin and the Fu family hadn’t smoothed over yet, and that recently, Fu Shihan had even gotten into a fight at ho because of her.

Word had it that he seriously injured two of Old Sir Fu’s attendants, making things quite tense at ho.

Under such circumstances, no one would associate the word "pregnant" with Su Wanxin, including Lu Ci.

Lu Ci knew that ever since her car accident, Su Wanxin’s health hadn’t been great, and she would frequently end up in the hospital; he had visited her several tis before.

So what’s the big deal about vomiting because of a cold? It’s perfectly normal!

Thus, with her own strength, Su Wanxin managed to fool the entire Lu Family.

However, although she seed very calm on the outside, she was still anxious inside.

After the luncheon ended, Lu Ci drove them ho.

While she and Su Yao were walking out, she looped her slightly cool hand around Su Yao’s arm and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear—

"Hold up, my legs are weak."

Su Yao hurriedly supported her, trying not to laugh but unable to help finding it a bit funny.

Su Yao: "Are you okay? Do you want to go see Zhan Che for a check-up later?"

Su Wanxin: "No worries, it’s just morning sickness, sothing you young and unmarried won wouldn’t understand."

Su Yao: "..."

Su Yao: "If you keep joking, I might just let go, you know?"

"Please don’t, my legs are weak."

Su Wanxin imdiately stopped talking, hugging Su Yao’s arm tightly.

After getting into the car and sitting down, she quietly let out a sigh of relief, leaning her head against the car window and closing her eyes to relax.

Lu Ci turned to look at her, seeing that she seed quite uncomfortable, frowned: "Wanwan, should I take you to the hospital to see a doctor?"

"No!" Su Wanxin shivered, "I don’t want any more shots!"

Lu Ci knew she had been afraid of injections since she was a child, and also knew that she seed to have had quite a few because of a cold recently, so seeing her reaction, he smiled helplessly.

"Do you have any cold dicine at ho? If not, I’ll stop by the pharmacy and get you so."

"Yes, yes, I have a complete set at ho!"

Lu Ci sighed, started the car, and asked her, "When is Shihan returning this ti?"
