"Pay up after eating." Lu Ci cheerfully suggested, "Any amount will do."

Su Yao glanced at him, decided to let it go, and then looked at Fu Shihan.

Fu Shihan remained unfazed, picked up his chopsticks, and said, "I have no money, I’m strapped for cash lately."

"Brother Han, that’s enough!" Lu Ci couldn’t wait for Su Yao to berate him; he couldn’t take it anymore himself. "How long are you going to play the poor card?"

Fu Shihan glanced up at him and earnestly replied, "I’m genuinely broke."

This guy was shaless enough to deserve a beating, yet he remained blissfully unaware and kept eating a lot.

Su Wanxin had never heard him use the word "broke" before; now that he’s saying it, she finds it rather awkward.

Then she linked it to the docunt Qi Ran gave her and suspected he was feigning poverty because of that.

After eating slowly and savoring the al, Su Wanxin sat on the sofa to rest while Fu Shihan cozied up to her.

Lu Ci watched them suspiciously, squinted his eyes slightly, and asked, "Are you two good now?"

Fu Shihan: "When were we ever not?"

"Do you even have any sha?" Lu Ci exposed him, "Who was it that said they weren’t getting back together recently?"

Now that they were reconciled, Lu Ci felt free to say anything. He looked at Su Wanxin and seriously tattled.

"Brother Han said anyone who loves to chase you can chase you; it has nothing to do with him anymore."

Su Wanxin nodded thoughtfully and shifted her position a bit, creating so distance between them.

Fu Shihan kicked Lu Ci and pulled Su Wanxin up.

"Shut up, you dog."

He cursed and led Su Wanxin upstairs, intending to have a proper talk with her.

Once they were in her bedroom and the door was closed, Fu Shihan turned to her to explain what Lu Ci had said earlier.

"I did say it. When we were going through a breakup, I went drinking with them, and they jokingly said they would pursue you."

At the mont I said it, that was genuinely how I felt—anyone was free to chase you; I didn’t care.

But whether I regretted saying it afterward was a different matter.

Su Wanxin nodded, without comnting.

Fu Shihan took her to sit on the bed, then unexpectedly discovered her fingers were bare, without a trace of the ring.

"Where’s the ring?"

He frowned slightly, asking with a mix of displeasure and nervousness.

Su Wanxin raised her hand, pulled out a necklace from her clothing, and showed that she had put the ring back around her neck.

Fu Shihan stared at her neck for two seconds, then unreasonably unhooked the necklace and put the ring back on her finger.

"It’s a ring, not a necklace. If you want a necklace, I’ll buy you one."

"Before, I could wear it any way I liked. Why can I only wear it on my hand now?" Su Wanxin protested.

"You just can’t." Fu Shihan replied seriously, "Since you rember, you should understand what this ring represents better than I do."

Wearing it ans she’s his. He knew it, and others had to know it too.

Su Wanxin stayed silent, so Fu Shihan asked, "Besides , who else knows you’ve recovered your mory? Su Yao? Aunt Qi?"

Su Wanxin shook her head, then hesitated for a mont, "Zhong Xian, Zhan Che."

Fu Shihan didn’t expect to hear those two nas at such a ti; his expression changed instantly: "Why do they know before ?"

"Mr. Fu, I suggest you don’t be jealous over this. If you really delve into it, you’ll lose out."

Fu Shihan opened his mouth but ultimately chose not to pursue it for now.

She rembered more than he did. If she said that, she must have her reasons.
